The Hokage's Mansion is where the Hokage is throughout the day and is where a library of anything and all information of Konoha is placed. It is located in the near center of Konoha. The other rooms of the building are libraries, and among many other things for the Hokage to use.
The most expensive living areas in Konohagakure are within the Shinobi Suburbs, these houses are two stories with a spacious yard. These houses are beyond the budget of most Shinobi, unless they have a roommate or someone to share the cost.
