| Name: Abel Nightroad Nickname/Alias: Age: 28 Age Appearance: 28 Appearance: Gender: Male Skill Level: S Ninja Rank: Jounin Village: Kumogakurge Birthplace: Kumogakurge Previous Village: - Clan/Bloodline: Genetic Weapons: Invasion Project Personality: Abel's personality is of two completely different sets. There is the one where he is not fighting, and the one where he is. The one that is day to day and his typical one is quite happy go lucky. He likes to crack silly jokes and is quite empathetic with other people. He is soft warm and caring. He is almost like a moving, breathing, life sized teddy bear. If anyone needs a shoulder to lean on he is sure the one to provide it. He knows nothing but caring for others well being and will gladly make any sacrifice to protect the ones he cares about. He is a very strong lover in many aspects, and this raw emotion is what leads to his other side. In battle, Abel is like a completely different person, though retaining his compassion for those he cares about, this is turned to hate. This hate is directed and anyone who has or is trying to hurt the ones he cares for. He shows no mercy what so ever to these enemies and will do his very best to tear them apart. He does not know how to hold back aside from the limitations his body sets for himself. He still keeps his mind though and is very smart and tactical in how he goes about it. His anger and hatred are clear though, etched into every line of his face. He very rarely will fight with out the intent to kill. Goals: Protect Kumogakurge Alignment: Chaotic Good Canon Personality: - Skill Specialty: Dominant: Taijutsu Recessive: Weaponary, Ninjutsu Elemental Affinity: Dominant: Lightning (See Clan, Set 02) Recessive: History: RP Sample: - Spoiler:
Taku stepped from the grassy, dirt supported terrain, and down upon the even softer surface of a sandy beach, one that stretched all the away around the entire island. It felt good sliding between his toes and against the calicoes of his feet. He, as always, was not wearing his shoes. What use were shoes when you could feel one with the earth, rooted against it for support and have that comfort directly against your skin. It was a feeling he most enjoyed, and couldn't see why anyone would ruin it by doing something as trivial as wearing shoes. It reminded him of home. Not three months ago he had lived in the dry heated place known as Suna. Now he resided in the wet polar opposite of Kiri. The only place that bore some resemblance was this wide stretching beach. However, there was ocean to one side, and grass to the other, cruelly reminding him that he was in fact not back home.
It was not uncommon for him to take these strolls, especially at this time. It was a saturday, he had the day off, no missions. It was around three in the afternoon, so the sun was blazing, but not unbearably so, and the majority of the lunching crowds had dispersed, giving him some quiet thinking time. It was his alone time, but though he hadnt realized it previously, he had been sort of preparing himself for something big.
He glanced down to the note in his right hand. It was a rolled up small piece of parchment that had come in via air mail, carried by hawk from Suna. His mothers pet, Neeva. She had been keeping in touch once a month for the past three. The first two had been simple updates on how she was doing and how the money he was sending back home was doing wonders to keep her supported. He was glad, he was given free board here provided due to the fact that he was in their military basically. He could have lived better getting his own property, but he couldnt currently afford that, not with the urge to continue aiding his mother. This last letter had contained all those same niceties and thanks, but it had also come with an unexpected surprise. Till that day, he had not known he even had a last name, and now he did. It was Funjin. He had no clue what it meant, but according to the letter, it was a name that carried great respect to the Suna people, and that they were in fact, quite strong, the name alone enough to give a child abilities that no other ninja could possess. She would not reveal to him the exact nature of this name, or clan as she had refereed to it as. She had only dropped one subtle hint.
Travel down to the beach, think of home, you will find your answers there.
He tried to rack his brain and think. Think. Think. It wasnt coming to him, and yet he felt like it was right there. He just couldnt make the connection, Kiri and Suna were complete opposites. There was nothing alike about them. In Suna they focused on Puppetry and Medicine, in Kiri they focused on water and swordsmanship. The people here were brash and almost violent. Suna was pretty harsh, but nothing at the level here. The climate was different, the sun was different, EVERYTHING was different. It had to be something with the beach, something, something, but what. Why else would his mother order him down here. This beach.
He stopped in his tracks, his eyes wide. A sudden realization hit him and he couldnt believe it had taken him that long to figure it out. Good god, he smacked himself in the face for his foolery. There was only one thing here that was common with his home. One, and the only place to find it, was the beach. It made so much sense, and it was to obvious, which is why it had not crossed his mind right off, he had been over thinking it, but it was all rather simple. It was the sand, the sand upon which he walked, it was the only possible connection. He pumped his fist in the air and hissed a 'yes' to himself with in his head. Already his mind was flowing with the possibilities. Of course, he had been to silly. Here it was. The sand. He was a member of the Funjin clan. He was an heir to a throne in Suna, and his birth right was the sand. He was glad, he was proud, and with this new turn of events, he would become strong. He knew he was weak, but that is why he had come to Kiri, to learn and become strong. This asset would prove to help him in this quest later on, he was sure. For now, it was back to the village, to reply to his mother with his sudden epiphany and the thanks for finally letting him know his heritage.
He began to run back, taking only a few steps before stopping again, not even reaching the grass yet. He had to make sure. He could not reply to his mother with only an assumption. That would be foolish, and if he as wrong, it would only prove in disgracing both himself and his mother. He would have to be sure before making any sort of action regarding the matter. But what to do. He had no clue how to start. His mother had provided zero instruction and he was sure no one else in the village would have this same skill. He was left on his own. He decided the best way, was a simple test, and then if he was wrong, he had at least had proof to back up his claims and checked and so would not be scolded for being a total idiot.
He was not really sure how to control his chakra yet, he had the basic knowledges, though it still basically ran rampant and free, but he could manage it to some degree. There was sand all around him so to any degree, all he had to do was cause an unsettlement among the small grains and it would be enough for him. Calmly, he prepared himself and began to gather some of his chakra. He focused on the ground around him, which was vast, so the concentration was not overly difficult as he was not trying to manipulate the sand to any extent. Simply, he let his chakra go its own way, and it flowed on its own towards the sand as that is where his mind was set upon.
Into it, the chakra flowed, and Taku smiled at the results. At first nothing happened but then, small clumps of sand began to raise into the air a few feet before falling back down into the beach. More continued to do this, serving no real purpose but to fuel his enjoyment. He laughed as more small clumps flipped into the air and softly settled back down with its brethren. Unfortunately he lost himself and sat there for a full five minutes of this. Suddenly he felt a great drain on his body and what little focus he was using broke, and the sand ceased its flipping and flopping. Taku bent over slightly and placed a hand on each knee, breathing a bit heavier then normal, though managing to keep it under control. He continued to smile. Now he was prepared, now he could go tell his mother, and she would be proud of this small success.
