My face when I read your post:Firstly, you were in a cage which has a by description of the technique:
- Quote :
- . The size of the prison is five meters in each side.
Although it is a mostly useless point, the total flat ground area available in the cage is twenty five square metered. The oxygen of this cube is limited (but not finite or stagnate) because as I describe the slits in the kage as narrow to prevent the usage of techniques going through the bars. This means that the airflow in the cage does not flow as easilly as it would in an open space.
Your usage of:

- Name: Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu - Mist Waltz Technique
Rank: C
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m)
Element: Katon (Fire)
Description: After performing the necessary hand seals, the user is able to create and blow a flammable gas from their lungs. Once it comes in contact with fire or sparks, the gas ignites into a large fireball.
Chakra Cost: 8
A technique which by it's range category is capable of covering from 0-15 meters or up to 45 feet. That means that the mist is capable of filling up the
entire entire ground area of the cage and a good degree of the volume if you assume that the mist also extends upward and not just along ground level. Now, the gas is most probably heavier than air (which I badly deduct by an uneducated guess) which also means that it would not easily exit the cage through the aforementioned narrow slits, although it is possible for some of it to exit, it would be a slow process. This mist by description is a a flammable gas that ignites into a giant fireball. By definition the technique explodes ( explosion denotes a certain degree of pressure [I.E: A massive amount of combustive potential trapped inside a cage with a reduced amount of airflow])when it comes into contact with a fire or spark. In the Anime scene (as this is initially an Anime only technique) which this is used, the technique is ignited into a huge mass of fire by the simple flame of a candle.
With that being said, you have filled the cage with a flammable gas that is by the range defined, far bigger than the ground area of the cage. Then proceed to make another set of hand seals and create this technique:

- Name: Endan - Fireball
Rank: D-A
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m – 10m)
Element: Katon (Fire)
Description: Katon • Endan is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. After doing the necessary hand seals, the ninja draws chakra to their lungs before swiftly exhaling it, allowing them to blow a jet of fire from their mouth. Depending on the rank at which it is performed, Endan ranges in size and heat. Starting at a moderate level of heat and a reach of up to 3m, at D rank, and increasing in temperature to an intense heat and up to a 10m reach, when performed at A rank.
Chakra Cost: D: 4 (1 per post), C: 5 (2 per post), B: 12 (3 per post), A: 23 (5 per post)
Which by the way does not preform in the manner that you described below.

But rather as a constant steam of fire that extends from your mouth, up to three meters as dictated by the chakra amount you paid for it's usage. Your depiction of the technique is more accurate to

- Name: Goukakyuu no Jutsu - Great Fireball Technique
Rank: C
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: Close (0m - 5m)
Element: Katon (Fire)
Description: Katon • Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals, draws chakra from their mouth into their chest and them immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the ninja will bring their hand to their mouth to control it.

However given that the gas would have filled up the entire ground area of the cage as I noted above, that three meter distance is more than far enough to have ignited said gas when you consider that even something as strong as a stray ember is more than capable of igniting the gas.
While I did not explain the complete intricacies of the time frame in combat in its entirety to you in either my OOC remarks or our PM/Skype conversation, I did not think I had to explain how it would work in relation to your own post.
As soon as the Gas from Kasumi Enbu comes in contact with a flame/spark/ember from Endan the gas would erupt into ...well a massive fireball. This occurs on immediate contact, not at a leisurely pace which allows you to do a dozen more hand seals and create a wind technique which creates a large blast of air ( Daitoppa). This means that unless your character has some innate immunity to fire, concussive force, heat, oh and the ability to breath while essentially a large majority of oxygen is burnt up by the creation of a massive explosion of fire around him, after the usage of your second technique, you are left unable to perform the wind technique (which by the way would've served well to fuel the massive fireball by giving it more oxygen to devour) thus your entire post after the usage of Endan cannot physically occur.
Now given my time on staff, I believe that most explosive force is measured in a similar scale to explosive tags. If I recall correctly the standard C rank explosive tag power is roughly around what I depicted below.
- Quote :
- 5 Explosive Notes─ Able to break bones in multiple locations, crack joints, tear open skin, produce third degree burns and produce unconsciousness upon direct or close hit. Can damage most organs if struck on chest. Knock back, skin tearing and second degree burns within half a meter. Reddening, knock back and skin irritation if past a meter.
Now given that the explosive force of the situation is someone difficult to determine some of the details may be fairly inexact, however given your intention was to blow a hole in the cage (burning through it would have taken an extended amount of time as Mokuton is not generally burnt in the same manner as dry wood might be, I would assume it has the same moisture level of green wood which of course smokes and dries for a long time before it immediately burns) the depiction is still accurate.
Given the size and dimensions of the cage there was nowhere for you to be located that would not be near or standing inside of the explosive mist itself. Further given that the mist ignites immediately, you essentially lit yourself on fire.
Now, after talking to Alex (Twinny Puppy) who is an evaluation mod, I believe it is fairly well established that you at the very least managed to knock yourself into a rather dangerous state of unconsciousness, probably broken a few bones and...oh yeah you're on fire which would likely lead to various third degree burns all over your body if not immediately put out. Given that fire consumes oxygen there is also very little air in the nearby area to breath. Additionally given that if you fall into a fire (or in this case light a massive fire on and around your person) with the temperature being hot enough and you breath in, the heat from said fire will collapse your lung and have a fairly strong chance of putting you in a coma and left untreated will likely end in death.
Now with that explained, it will explain much of the actions in my post and explain why there is likely little you can do in your next post.
