Eiji was of avevrage height for his age, standing at 5'11" and weighing 145lbs. Very well toned physique hidden behind his everyday attire which consisted of the standard Konoha shinobi dress. His face was seemingly unscathed, save for a few light scars from numerous battles. Black eyes usually hidden behind a cascade of ebony tresses shoulder length. Nothing about him was out of the ordinary, at first glance.

That first glance would more than likely have a person thinking that Eiji is speed based in terms of combat, and lacks physical strength. But that would be a fatal mistake, Eiji is rather strong for his size, having such a tuned body.


Personality:

Eiji is a kind hearted being, to his comrades and a ruthless killer to his enemies. Eiji does what he needs to remain loyal to his Village and his comrades, willing to throw himself into danger for his comrades. Eiji also has great work ethics and is constantly training to better himself in order to protect his village. Some can say Eiji has two personalities, one being the fun loving friend when enjoying his leisure time and the other being the stern leader-like ninja when in the field. It's sometimes confused as a split personality, but in reality it's simply knowing what is more effective in what situation. He can be calculating at times both in and out of missions, that's just out of habit. Those who have a good judge of character could see something else behind his smile and assume there was another demeanor behind a facade.

True Persona - Eiji is actually very sadistic and cruel, more so toward enemy. His entire demeanor shifted with the combination of him finding out the truth about his clan and the brutal murders of his friends turned him cold and resulted in a more effective and powerfull ninja. Eiji shut down most of his emotions, burying them deep down. Although he tries to maintain his regular personality, the true hatred and coldness seems to slowly overtake it. Having nothing other than training and progressing up the latter of power, Eiji trains almost every minute of the day. The only person who doesn't recieve the harsh end of Eiji now is his friend Inari, who was the only one aside from Eiji who survived when his friends were killed. He is the only person to still see a sliver of what Eiji use to be.

History: The Uchiha Clan were one of the founding noble families of Leaf village. The clan itself is said to be descended from the Hyuuga clan who possess the Byakugan bloodline and further back to be the heirs of the Rikudou Sennin's eldest son, who is said to have received his father's "eyes" and with it his powerful chakra and spiritual energy. Because their clan possessed the Sharingan or "Wheel Eye," the Uchiha excelled at being able to read and fend off attackers. This made them prime candidates to help found the Konoha Military Police Corps, which would incorporate the Uchiha fan symbol into their official logo.

Select few members of the Uchiha clan possess the ability to activate the bloodline Sharingan eye. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and see the tricks and movements required to be able to complete it. However the clan member can not copy techniques which are unique to another bloodline. It also gives one the ability to cast jutsu techniques only possible by possessing the eye such Amaterasu, Kamui, Susanoo and Tsukuyomi. The clan itself is known for their ties to fire. For a clan ninja to be seen as an adult, they must be able to utilize a Katon (Fire Element) jutsu such as Goukakyuu no Jutsu. Thus is the tie between the manipulation of fire and the mind of an Uchiha member.

The clan was founded by Uchiha Madara and his brother Izuna. In the early days of ninja battles, they battled the Senju Clan and eventually both groups came together to form Konoha. When Madara felt the clan was being marginalized by the Senju, he fought Konoha's Hokage and Senju clan leader Hashirama. Madara was defeated and went into hiding. Years later the clan began to become discontent with the village leadership and Madara returned. Before they could launch their insurrection against Konoha, they were wiped out by one of their own, Uchiha Itachi. Only one member from within the clan was spared, Itachi's brother Sasuke. Itachi and later Sasuke would join Madara in his drive to plunge the world into darkness, for their own ends. With Itachi's death as a man willing to sacrifice everything to secretly support Konoha, the final fate of the clan and its future thus rests in the hands of men swearing vengence against their home village.

Special Info: The Uchiha have a number of traits which set them apart from the normal ninja. First off being that they all seem to have black hair. Also, every one in this clan has a main element of fire. They seem to be very proficient in the three basic jutsu arts of Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu (This does not mean Uchiha characters can have three specialties), and are usually known as the elite brand of shinobi. Uchiha generally seem to work with their speed rather then raw brute strength and are very agile and quick.

Description: Sharingan is the blood inheritance limit of the Uchiha Clan. The Uchiha are said to be descendants of the Hyuuga, with the Byakugan changing into the Sharingan over time. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and almost instantly memorize the movements required to be able to complete it, including the needed chakra moldings and seals used. However the clan member cannot copy techniques that are unique to another bloodline and the clan member must have a body capable of meeting the chakra and physical requirements to do the jutsu. This rarely stops the clan member though, as such stressful situations often push their limits farther and allow them to harness their full potential.

The Uchiha clan member is not granted the Sharingan at birth; it is only activated later in life, typically during a time of emotional stress in the heat of battle. The Sharingan itself can be transferred to another non-Uchiha by a medical ninja, such as happened with Leaf ninja Uchiha Obito to his teammate Hatake Kakashi. Because his body was not born to carry the Sharingan, the eye is always activated and it burns Kakashi's chakra when used. To lessen the impact of the Sharingan on Kakashi's body, he normally keeps the eye hidden and out of use. Also of note, is the fact Kakashi, a non-Uchiha, was able to advance the Sharingan from two tomoe to three tomoe after gaining the eye.

The Sharingan itself contains three tomoe (comma). A higher mastery of the Sharingan can be seen in the creation of a new tomoe in the eye, with three tomoe being the typical highest form of the eye. The rare Mangekyou form is a unique evolution of the Sharingan beyond the three tomoe form, please see its entry for more information. An eye possessing two tomoe can allow the Uchiha clan member to track the movement of an opponent and do some minor copying of an opponents attack. For avoiding incoming attacks, the Uchiha's speed and agility will greatly control whether they can move to avoid it. However, three tomoe will greatly help in this area.

Two tomoe will also allow the ninja to pierce Genjutsu and see the surrounding reality for what it really is. It can also allow the member to pierce another’s body and see their chakra. While the eye is not refined enough to see the tenketsu and chakra circulatory system like the Byakugan, it can view the movement and flow of chakra. This can help them tell if a person is trapped in a Genjutsu, or if an attacker is a real threat or merely a bunshin.

An eye containing three tomoe will allow the ninja to see the image of an attacker’s next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body. This prevents wasteful movement and allows the Uchiha clan member to conserve much needed chakra in battle. It allows them to synchronize their movement to strike at an area moments before their opponent is even in that spot, essentially allowing them to strike out and hit their opponent before they're even there.

Three tomoe also grants the Uchiha the ability to do Genjutsu and hypnosis after locking eyes with an enemy. This can be used to cause their opponent to do an attack of the Uchiha's choosing. This hypnosis can also be used as a Genjutsu counter, which is the ability to turn a Genjutsu spell back upon the original caster without the requirement of forming any hand seals.

The Mangekyō Sharingan ( Literally meaning Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye) is a heightened form of Sharingan. The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to powerful and forbidden techniques. The Mangekyō Sharingan is distinguished from a normal Sharingan through its appearance, which changes the form of the tomoe seal. Unlike in the case of the Sharingan, the appearance of the Mangekyō Sharingan differs from user to user. The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to several powerful techniques, and erodes the eyesight of its users, eventually causing blindness, which can be alleviated by obtaining another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan from a sibling. The new Sharingan is dubbed the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. The techniques used by this eye vary from person to person and is limited to one technique per eye. It can be achieved by the killing of someone who is very close to the user as a display of being willing to sacrifice anything for power. This can not be fooled and be a fake friend. It must be a real and true strong connection so it takes a certain kind of individual to be able to get it. It can also be gotten by extremely brutal and long training, taking many years to obtain of constant hard work and dedication, though the person can not be aiming for it and it actually just happens at random. Even with the hardest work, it is possible for an Uchiha to never achieve this level of eye mastery.

Description/Abilities: Ikotsu is used to channel Eiji's chakra natures, both Katon and Raiton. Katon being a little harder to channel than Raiton given the element. Ikotsu's blade serves as a conductor for Eiji's Raiton nature, giving it the ability to extend lightning from the blade as well as coat the blade in currents of lightning for brief moments. When channeling Katon natured chakra through the blade it requires more chakra and focus. This being the lesser used nature, Eiji has yet to perfect it.

Eiji looks like a Katana only shortened by an inch or two to lessen the weight and increase Eiji's speed in using it. Also, the guard is removed for the same purpose. The hilt is wrapped tightly in bandages and black. The scabard is very plain, black with the Uchiha clan insignia near the mouth of it.

History: Ikotsu was actually passed down Eiji's family for generations as a symbol of the rise from the Uchiha's horrific past and the survival of the Massacre. Only the strongest child would recieve the honor of wielding the blade. Before Eiji, his father was given the weapon and he used it up until the day he died. That day, Ikotsu was brought back on his fathers chest after the mission an presented to his mother. The blade remained untouched even after his mother passed. As a child, Eiji carried it around everywhere he went until he was old enough to wield it himself.

History:

As a Genin

Katsu was always held in high expectations, being an Uchiha. He'd never fail to meet those expectations, if not exceed them. Graduating from the Academy was simple, he graduated at the top of his class at the age of 9. Becoming a Genin, Katsu was teamed with two other newly made Genin. Both of which just barely made it out of the Academy, and from the jump Katsu's enthusiasm disappeared. The team was constantly training under their Sensei, Daigo Zakimaru, and Katsu was constantly having to save the team. Which in turn slowly began building a steady aggrivation with his team members.

After their first few missions, to most everyones suprise, one of Katsu's team members actually saved him for once. From that moment on, dispite Katsu's views on his team mate, their was a growing fondness of eachother. It grew with each mission, with each training session, and eventually with each coming day. During a mission regarding an escaped prisoner, Katsu was forced into a life or death situation which not only drew out his Sharingan but it was already at it's second stage having 2 tomoe. All in all, Katsu has went on countless D-Ranked missions and numerous C-Ranked missions as a Genin.

Passing the Chuunin Exams

The team breezed through the 'written' exam, it was a simple task. In the Forest of Death, however, the team rand into a few speed bumps when it came to finding the corrisponding scroll. It seemed the Chuunin exams were filled with very skilled ninja this time around. But, it was nothing the team couldn't handle. After finding a team with the needed scroll, Katsu and his team went into action, although it took longer than anticipated, the squad defeated their foe and acquired the scroll. Upon making their way to the tower, they discovered they were amongst the first teams to pass the trial. Part two was complete.

Becoming a Chuunin

The final and most anticipated portion of the Chuunin exams has finally come, the tournament. Katsu would wait, watching match after match awaiting his own. He'd see many of his fellow ninja fall, and many prevail, but all fell in comparison to the eagerness Katsu had for his own match. Although his features would only portray a sense of calm, his anxiousness bubbled on the verge of bursting. Finally, it was his time. Katsu's name was called, being matched up against a fairly worthy opponent, a member of the Inuzuka clan.

It is in Katsu's nature to first feel out his opposition, rather than running in without a clue of what the target can do. So, the first few minutes of close quarters combat ended with a Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu which was evaded quite easily. The battle raged on with an exchange of blows ranging from close quarters to jutsu. To Katsu' suprise he was actually being put to the test and was forced to bring forth his Sharingan. Although he was dead set on being capable of taking down this foe with a bit more ease, no matter. A few short moments after activating his Sharingan, Katsu countered every following assault from the opponent. Thus, eventually bringing victory to himself. After making his way from the field, Katsu over heard a spectator utter a few words that caused mixed emotions within him. "He resembles that Missing ninja, you know Uchiha Itachi. From what I know, he looks a lot like him but fights as well as his brother Sasuke did."

A Bit of Research

Katsu felt obligated to research his clan's history, along with this ninja named Uchiha Sasuke. Katsu was cleared to look through the archives within Konoha, through ONLY Uchiha Sasuke's file and reports involving him after his defection. Katsu's eyes were opening, and for the first time he was interested. He read of the missions Sasuke was on and the techniques he used when he leaft Konoha. It was all so interesting that Katsu actually began learning these techniques, but not after the nerve shaking test to see what affinity he had as a recesive one. After finding out that it was in fact Raiton he had as a recessive affinity, it was set. Although, Katsu always wondered why he was not allowed to view anything else about the Uchiha Clan, nor was he given a shred of information about Sasuke before he was a Genin.

Returning home, Katsu disscussed a few things with his parents about what he had researched. Both of which looked a little concerned and hesitant in telling Katsu the history of the Uchiha clan. So, they saved it until they figured he was ready. The only scrap of informtion they gave Katsu, was that he was a decendant of Uchiha Sasuke and ofcourse his brother Itachi. A bit of excitement painted Katsu's face upon hearing this news. It pushed him to train harder to surpass his ancestor.

Mastering the Affinity

After a few years of training constantly and putting his skills to the test, Katsu actually mastered Chidori and it's branch-offs. When he wasn't on a mission, Katsu spent the day training intensly until he finally mastered the Chidori. Not only that, but the constant training and missions for years brought about the mastering of his Sharingan which only furthered his power.

Truth Strikes as Hard as Lightning

A normal night at home would soon become one of pain and anger. Katsu's parents felt it was time to tell him about the grim past of the Uchiha Clan and of his ancestors. They told him how Itachi killed off almost all of the clan, save for his little brother Sasuke. They went on to tell him of Madara Uchiha and how Sasuke fled the leaf village becoming a missing-nin. They told him how Sasuke killed his brother Itachi and even told him the way to the old Uchiha Clan section of the town, knowing he would stumble upon the secret room holding the secret of the clan and the fabled Mangekyou Sharingan. Katsu left after having his eyes open to the truth of his bloodline. He made his way to the old Uchiha Clan hold, abandoned and falling apart. As his parents presumed, he found his way to the secret room.

Rising to Power, Becoming a Jounin

After having his eyes opened to the truth of the Uchiha name, Katsu's entire persona changed. He became more and more cold and strict with rules and things. Katsu simply focused on climbing the ranks, making his own way. But something lingered in his mind about his ancestor, as to why he didn't return to the village after his initial goal was reached, killing Itachi. Something was off about it. None the less, Katsu continued his already impressive track record when it came to completing missions.

Eventually, Katsu was offered the position of Jounin at the age of 16. He went through the Inaguration and took on the rank of Jounin of Konoha. Although he was a Jounin, Katsu never agreed to take on a squad, he'd much rather go on missions most of which were solo if it was one of those missions. Katsu, having long since mastered his Sharingan, felt he would not be able to continue up the latter of power, until he remembered the stories about the Mangekyou Sharingan, and how to acquire such an eye. Although, he could not really think of any ninja being close enough to him to be called a best friend. Then, Katsu remembered the only person he got close to, the other boy from his former Genin squad.

Deception

Katsu got in touch with his old friend, Yojiro from his former squad. The Uchiha began to remake the bond they once had. The Hokage would place both of them on missions together, due to the outstanding results from prior missions they were on together. It wasn't until Katsu hit 19 when he'd set his plan in motion. Katsu and Yojiro were sent on a mission together, little did Yoji know, it was to be his last. After completing the mission, Katsu made his move before leaving the Village where the mission brought them. Katsu killed his closest friend, Yojiro in cold blood. Making it look as if it was simply a casualty of the mission. The Uchiha mourned the death to an extent, but looked at it as a must to reach a higher platform of power. Lips curled into a grin as his Sharingan morphed into his own Mangekyou Sharingan.

Stigma

Katsu became known as, Stigma. He acquired this nickname through successful missiong, and a few points in time where his targets would actually look as if killed by a poison when it was an effect of a Genjutsu created by Katsu's Mangekyou Sharingan. Not only that, but on a few occasions a black flame would be left after he'd been there, spreading like a Stigma. Although this was a sign of the Mangekyou, it raised suspicions about Katsu and the dissapearance of his friend, Yojiro. But, ANBU could not find a single trace of evidence that Katsu killed Yoji. From then on, Katsu was known as the Stigma of the Hidden Leaf.

A Hero, In the Eyes of the Public

Katsu was summoned to take on the mission of guarding the Kage as a few shinobi escort a few politics from another, lesser, village. It was going smooth until Konoha ninja took the place of the visiting shinobi in escorting the politics around Konoha. For a split second, the attention was taken off of the other ninja, giving them enough time to put their true plans in action. The small 4 man cell of A-ranked ninja made their way through the village to the Kage Mansion. They barged through the door, only to find Katsu standing infront of the Kage's desk. Although the Kage was capable of taking care of himself, it was Katsu's duty to protect the Kage with his life. So he did, opening his eyes to reveal the famed Sharingan Eye he managed to kill off two and mentally destroy a third. The fourth escaped, only for the fact that the ANBU finally arrived and would shortly catch up to him. "A bit late.." Katsu said with disgust as the few ANBU members made haste in following the assailant.

Katsu was complimented on his astounding skill in combat by the Hokage, thanked and given another order to take the mentally scarred ninja to the interogation unit.


Role-Play Sample:

The sun had begun to fall behind the horizon, leaving the sky to the moon as it governed and blanketed the earth with it's light. Eiji had been stationed outside the camp of a group of criminals that had been causing trouble for a small village in the Lightning Country. In a tree, Eiji wrapped himself in the silence that fell upon the dim forest as he watched over the camp. His mission was to relay information and remain undetected at all times and at all costs.

Just as he thought his mission had come to an end, there was a patrol put in motion. Eiji had slipped up, a member of the group had been searching as he walked under the tree Eiji was in. He was spotted, but before the target could yell to alert everyone, Eiji was behind him with a hand around his mouth and the targets arm twisted behind him. The situation had been flipped, Eiji tied up his catch and moved it far from the camp. By daybreak, Eiji was pulling the gag from the prisoners mouth in order to get more information from him.

After a full day of methods and no success, Eiji grew frustrated and would resort to using a more invading method. With the activation of his Sharingan, Eiji set the captive in a Genjutsu that emphasized his worst fears and brought them to life. The Uchiha left the captive lost in the genjutsu for another day, slowly breaking down the enemies mental structure. After that day was up, Eiji released the half insane enemy and watched as the information poured from his mouth along with pleas to refrain from placing him under the jutsu again.

The captive was considered to troublesome to allow to go back to the group, and the threat of the group finding out that Kumogakure was planning on shutting them down would be too high. Eiji slowly drew his blade and swiftly ended the captives life, setting his body a flame, ridding all clues. Eiji made his way back to the Village to relay the information he accumulated.
