Regarding Affiliates

I was wondering if the pursuing of obtaining affiliates is linked to similar themed forums or directories? I'm not sure if anyone took note of my other post but I'm currently active on a X-men RP forum, that has a few affiliates and directories, and so I've been considering attempting to establish an affiliate with the said forum depending on the responses in this topic.

Also, Are we encouraged to advertise SA because I usually find myself looking through Forums on a fairly regular basis so obviously, I could advertise.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner but I will discuss this with the other staff and see what they have to say. For advertising SA, I would say yes but do so in a decent manner. Meaning, follow the rules of the forums and strictly NO pm advertisements. We prefer having a good image. If they request their banner to be posted in return for our banner posted on theirs, talk to the staff first.

Truthfully though I would wait and see if we can get this RPing thing sorted out about who is going to RP or not aside from the other changes we are currently plotting. Nobody likes to join partially inactive (due to being busy) and somewhat "unfinished" forums ^^
