History: Though not well known because they are typically not known as power house ninja or well noted for the most part, they did once play a large role in the ninja world. In the times before the villages began, they did their best to be pacifists and became mediators to the other clans which waged wars with one another. They would often intervene in battles, using illusions and the confusion battle created to fool each clan and ending the battles quicker and with less bloodshed then would normally be had. When the time of the villages came around, they were contracted, and willing gave their services to Harishima Senjuu to aid in the creation of the hidden Leaf. Their abilities were used in light manipulation to increase the light shed upon the trees and foundations of Konoha, allowing it to grow at a faster pace and are part of the reason for the many impressively sized forests in the fire country. In exchange, they were allowed to be citizens of the great shinobi village.

As time progressed, in a bit of irony, they descended into the shadows of the village and became much more undercover then before. In fact they weaved themselves out of being shinobi used for war and instead became entertainers for the most part. A few choice households chose to remain in the military way of life, and this was not held against them, but their pacifist natures continued to reign, and that was their reason for doing so. They continue to strive and are better known for their ventures outside of the ninja world.

Description: The clan is overall very simple and has only one underlying aspect to it. The KKG of this clan is not an advanced element nor is it a Dojutsu. It acts more like and is comparable to simply secret clan jutsu, but it is in fact a trait that is inherited through genetics, making the only way to inherit it would be through birth. In a nut shell, the bearer of this jutsu has the ability to manipulate light. To put it more specifically, they can control light waves specifically. This is much more specific than manipulating light as a whole and can prove to be much much more potent tool for the ninja to use.

The first way this can be used would be to bend light as a whole, causing it to bend around objects to cloak them and make them temporarily invisible to the naked eye. By doing this, the user causes themselves or the object/person in question to be untouched by the light, which would normally make them look just pitch black. However, by not just keeping it from touching them and moving clearly around them/it, they can fill that void with images of surrounding things. This is done with a clan jutsu but is one of the primary functions that can be seen. Through this they can also intensify the amount of light to one area, causing it to create more heat energy or increase the illumination of an area. Also it can be used in various ways to affect vision of both the user and others alike in various ways. The uses of this method of light control can be further explored through various clan jutsu.

The second method is much more complicated and is in fact, a much more potent usage which is much more dangerous and useful. This is where manipulating individual light waves come into play. This is made possible because members of this clan have chakra which is able to fuse into light waves which gives the ninja control over them. With this primarily comes the ability to manipulate colors by changing the frequency of what is reflected and absorbed. This can also be used to create illusions of things that are not even there by manipulating the light waves to reflect as though that object was there. Being that the only way people can see things is through the perception of light waves and how they interact with the world around us, it can give the ninja full control over what is being seen. This is known as optical illusions. As such, they, unlike genjutsu, can not be broken out of, seen past, or released via the kai technique. However, as they can only affect the visual side of things, they lack the ability to emulate smell, sound, pain, pleasure, emotion, or taste. Because of this it is limited in its effective use, especially against a well trained opponent. However, it is still possible to use this method in various ways which can be used to control the tide of battle, regardless opponent.

Description: Using this jutsu, the user will bend the light waves around their own or another's body or an object in order to keep it from reflecting or absorbing any light, thus making it become temporarily invisible. Though this could cause them to just appear black, by bending the light around the target of the jutsu, it will fill the void with images from behind them to seal the act and make them effectively invisible. Users just starting off with this jutsu will cause there to be a little bit of warped space shown, causing a bulging effect. This can be noticed by well trained ninja and though still not seen past, give them a clue as to what is really there.

These jutsu are all passive and do not require hand signs unless other wise stated.

Description: Using this jutsu utilizes the more advanced side of the bloodline by weaving chakra into light waves to manipulate the color of already existing things, and also by making objects appear that are not actually there. To make something appear it is not actually there is simply done by controlling the light to reflect off colors by changing the frequency and broadcasting by an unoccupied space. For example to create a shuriken would be to focus on the light waves in ones hand and causing it to reflect grays, silvers, and blacks from that one spot. Then throwing it, they would just quit manipulating the light in one area and focus further and further as the shuriken "progressed" through the air. By doing this they could create the illusion of drawing and throwing a shuriken they did not actually have or simply trying to not waste one. However this is a simple example and as shown by the rank of the technqiue, by applying more chakr and having more skill, different levels of this can be used.

C Rank - At the lowest rank of the technique, the ninja can create illusions up to the size of about an 8 year old boy, proportionally speaking. This is the simplest level of manipulation and costs the least amount of chakra. They can create up to three of these illusions at the maximum size at one time with each use of the jutsu. That is to say, every time they create illusions adding up to this maximum level and number of times, they lose a C rank amount of chakra.

B Rank- At B rank the ability is greatly increased. Now instead of only the size of an illusion of a small boy, the user can create an illusion up to the size of the average sized, full grown male. Whats more, they can cast up to ten illusions of maximum size per use of the jutsu. That is to say, every time they create illusions adding up to this maximum level and number of times, they lose a B rank amount of chakra.

A Rank- At this level of use, the way the jutsu begins to change a little bit. At this level, the user has the ability to create illusions up to the sizes of mountains. At this size of an illusion, they can only create two. However, if using the B rank parameters, they have the ability to create up to 50 of these illusions before they expel the full amount of chakra.

S Rank - This is by far the most powerful and potent level of the jutsu. When using it, the ninja can manipulate the light wherever they see. This means they can create illusions of entire landscapes and completely control the color of the world as far as they can see. If they can see it, they have control over its color. They can also fill any void with any optical illusionary item they wish. Any illusion at the size of the S-B maximum levels become passive and take almost no chakra. At the A rank maximum, it would take a mere B ranks worth. To change the view of the "world around them" would cost an S rank amount of chakra.

*NOTE* The exact chakra drain is not set in stone for each usage of this jutsu and is entirely circumstantial. The "limits" posted here are guidelines to help determine chakra loss.

Description: This jutsu gives the user the ability to change the appearance of distances, positions, and the clarity of objects and people. With distances, depth perception, the user can manipulate the light waves reflecting off of it to appear as though it is farther away then it actually is or closer then it actually is. To manipulate the location of an object, they can cause the light reflecting off an object to bend and reflect from a different location, cloaking the first object and creating an illusion of it else where. Finally with clarity, and probably the simplest of them all, is done by crossing the light waves of an object to make it blurry to all who see it.

C rank- At this level, this can only be done with a few small objects and only one of the above effects at a time.

B rank - At this level, the manipulation power increases and can be done with a larger number of larger objects, and can use up to two of the effects at a time.

A rank - The final and most potent level of this ability is able to use any combination of the three on different objects at the same time of any object around them.

Description: This jutsu requires the use of handseals to be used. When the jutsu is used it will leave a temporary effect for a set amount of time with out further attention needed to it from the caster of the user. When it is used, the chakra will settle in front of the targets eyes, and cross the light waves as they enter through their eyes. This will cause a blurred effect, lowering the eye sight. They will be able to see basic shapes and color, but no detail will be able to made out and reading will be entirely impossible. This effect will last for five of the victims posts after the post in which is used.

Description: When using this jutsu, the user will simply bend light directly into their eyes from places they can not see. This will give them the ability to see much as those with byakugan can to a certain extent, though it is a much less powerful trait. This is a passive trait, requiring no hand seals and a minimal chakra loss.
