Passed through oto in my topic with Kasou and his team, kumo to any lesser country is three days. This takes out a three day spread. Insinuated and the word count is met a couple times over. This post will cover the last two days needed to travel from Kumo to Suna.)
Towa had unfinished business to take care of in Suna. So that was his true goal. He was meant to head to Oto, that was what the last order had been, but there was an outstanding order, which had been a long time coming, and possibly put at the back of everyone elses mind. Not Towa's, he never forgot, and he knew that Riku would not have either. There was no chance of that.
It had been several years, six in fact. Very long ages, a time from the beginning of his missoin to destroy Faust before it was decided that Towa and Riku could not meet for updates for fear of being found out. Fausts lack of expertise at the time endangered their mission when they did meet. It was in that time that he had informed Towa one of their own had been captured by the suna police and detained, for life. It was one that he had met only briefly when training with Riku. All he remembered was a sinking feeling of insanity in the mans pressence, and the blasted look of his eye. Of course he had been a mere boy back then. Now he was an elite killer, and the same effect would not be had. Not to mention he had probably grown weaker during his time in prison. There was no doubt he was probably the more frightening of the two. Maybe not at first looks, but in all prove actuallity, Towa was a fiend in every sense of the word.
Now he was certain he was meant to go retrieve the man. There was no need to leave him there. In fact Towa was shocked that Riku had left him there to rot for this long. He had a suspicion that Riku had left him there on purpose as punishment. That was suited, though it was possible that he intended for the man to stay there. To die there, as repayment for his sin of failure. Towa did not know, but he did know akatsuki was weaker then it could be with this ally. They could use him, a tool was a tool, regaurdless. He understood he too was nothing more then a tool to Riku, or at least, thats how he percieved it. If Riku felt any love for him, it fell on a deaf heart. He didnt care, Riku meant nothing to him. He was an end to getting better at the job he did best, taking lives. All the others, they were just pawns, they were no use to him except to aide RIku to keep him alive and his plans moving so he could further learn. He was using it all to his advantage. It wasnt overly difficult, it was a mere seizing of an oppurtunity, seeing something for what it was really worth. This wasnt him playing a game or manipulaitng anyone, yet. This was just his outlook on the others. Plain and simple.
He was nearing Suna now. The hot sun bearing down on him. IT would not be long now before he approached the prison, and unleashed the one he knew as Zetsumei.
