Personality: Intelligent, kind. Dislikes cowards, but feels sorry for them at the same time. Fast to make conclusions and decisions, but makes sure to rethink them later. Tries to make actions that won't make her regret them later. Cares for her friends and teammates. Sometimes tries on a different personality masks for appearance, but then changes back to normal.

Can be seen melancholic and quiet, even shy unless she wants to appear otherwise. Spends most of her free time training, learning, searching for ways to grow stronger. Her hobby is reading, she likes fantasy and science fiction. Goes to the park, into the mountains or simply somewhere outside the village when she want to be alone and relax. Dislikes those who do things for showing off.

History: Youmu was born in Kumogakure and it was no special event for the world as many babies are being born each day. Her father was a Jounin there and her mother was ranking Chuunin, though she came from another village. As Youmu inherited her mother's white hair, she was very outstanding and other kids were making fun of her since young age. But most of mocking ended when Youmu's father taught her few basic techniques to defend herself. She didn't abuse her ability and that was what gained her respect from other kids.

When Youmu was finally of age, her parents brought her to ninja academy to start her ninja career. It was both her dream and her parent's wish. After a year of those studies there were some changes in Youmu's life. Her mother was promoted to Jounin and got a very important mission together with Youmu's father. Her mother died during this mission and her father was seriously wounded. He spent nearly a month in Kumogakure's hospital and then went after his wife to the afterlife. And so, in about a month Youmu was left all alone. She spent more time to her studied and gave all her effort to surpassing her parents.

At the age of 13 she graduated from the academy and became a real ninja. She was quite unlucky with her first team as one of them was coward and lost his arm during a C ranked mission, also their sensei betrayed their village and became a missing nin. Youmu couldn't take Chuunin exams that year because of her incomplete team, so she spent it all sparring with her remaining teammate. And there she got a fate's smile. One day, during her training she met a person with same color of hair as her and same blue eyes.

He was very kind and explained that they are some sort of distant relatives. This "uncle", though he looked quite young, said that long ago their family had a whole clan in eastern wind country region; an accident made their clan scatter all over the world and that he was searching for other of his kin since then. This "uncle" was called Yousei, he said that his life was much much longer than it would seem from first glance. But the most shocking news was that Youmu's family possessed a Kekkei Genkai and when she asked if she had it too Yousei answered that her hair is the proof of it. Uncle Yousei spent a week with her teaching her how to use this Kekkei Genkai called Harangan. After this week Yousei said that he had urgent matter to take care of and must leave. For a goodbye he gave her a special katana called the Ghostblade and a few scrolls that contained info about Harangan's use as well as a seal to contact Yousei anytime. This surprising meeting changed Youmu's world again and opened many new opportunities.
