Appearance: Aoi is short. Needless to say, not only short but also very petite in size. Small waist, toothpicks for arms and legs. Her skin color is a tannish-pale. Aoi has long blond hair that is always upheld in a tall pony tail with some hair falling into her face. Her bangs over her forehead, but slide down roughly down the sides of her face. Her eyes are a sharp blue, seemingly unblinking. Her lips are in a tight line, most of the time. Her nails are also painted fully black except for her thumbs, which are red. Her clothes are rather different than that of a normal day-to-day Shinobi. Clad with a black jacket lined with tan colored fur, Aoi has on a short black skirt, wearing skin tight shorts under them. Wearing a belt, studded with metal (No, not for combat, simply for looks only), she also holds onto her supplies in a small pouch attached to the belt itself. The belt is black leather threaded together thickly with red thread. Wearing knee-length boots, Aoi also has on stockings that stop mid-thigh. These stocking are white, with black lines going down the side. Her shirt, exposed by her jacket which she never seems to button up or close is simply a black top that covers her chest, but stops midway of her stomach.

Personality: Aoi is someone you meet once or twice in an anime series. Unless it's a gag-anime. Then their all over the place. Random, funny and loud she tends to be the less skillful of ninjas, but more of a people person. Still, she wants to develop her skills as best as possible. Hyper and energetic, she is quite like Naruto from the series, only less of a knucklehead and a bit less ambitious. Though she seems to be happy all the time, she can be quiet, mature and a serious ninja. And Aoi, despite her outgoingness, sometimes gets very nervous around the time of a battle.

History: Growing up in Kumo, she never really strayed much from the village. Her mother was a civilian, coming from a ninja background and her father is a Medic-nin that works in the hospital to extract poisons and such from wounded ninja. Aoi was born 14 years ago, on May 3, in the same hospital. Her mother was quick to stop any early on ninja training to keep her "little girl " as a civilian. However, her Father wanted her to take on the title of a Shinobi.

She entered the Academy when her mother and father started to notice the ninja-like qualities in her. Aoi, a seriously active girl, seemed to have an ability to jump higher and have better balance than most of the children at the civilian school she was attending beforehand. The children, weary of her ninja-like activity soon became distant with Aoi, keeping away. Her parents, noticing this while young Aoi was oblivious, pulled Aoi and sent her to the academy.

Sensing her skill, Aoi quickly became tuned in with the basics of ninja-ism and quickly advanced to the title of Genin in the Academy. The Academy, a better choice in Aoi's mind, was a dream come true for Aoi. Passing the exam for Genin was no problem. She was assigned to a 3-man team and thus begins her story here.
