Appearance: Hope is characterized by his fondness of the colour blue and the Nidaime Hokage like clothes he wears, white shaggy hair, bright blue eyes and his blue streaks under his eyes and on his chin that he paints onto his face in order to look like the Nidaime Hokage. His forehead protector has been altered into a somewhat similar fashion to the late Tobirama's.

The hoodie has a white fur lined hood that is a pure white colour (slightly darker than the shade of white that his hair is). Hope also tends to wear blue shorts with the same colour classic shinobi boots and dark blue (Same colour as the under shirt) gloves. Please note: Hope only wears Tobirama's armour on special occasions and will not wear it on any other occasion that includes in battle or on missions or social events.

Personality: From what has been seen of Hope, he has great pride in his "inherited" abilities involving water jutsu. While being able to display similar skills to that of the Nidaime Hokage and possessing an identical appearance, Hope believes himself to be the reincarnation of said shinobi.

He also has a extremely weird sense of humour, even under stressful situations although due to this Hope is seen almost-constantly smiling and/or laughing at either a joke that wasn't meant to be funny or laughing at the actions of another shinobi.

Something that he seemed to inherit is his great deal of loyalty to the hidden leaf village, and places its well-being above his own and that of his friends for the greater good.

Goals:
-Protect Konoha at all costs.
-Take on his ancestors position.
-Become an ANBU black ops member.
-Reach his ancestors skill level or surpass it.

History: For as long as he can remember, Hope has always been told that he has the potential to become a great shinobi...

Hope was born on the 19th of February, which is the same date as the Nidaime Hokage, in the land of waves and in the village hidden in the mist. Although he was born in the hidden mist village, he knew that he didn't belong there and so with the death of his father, his mother whisked him off to Konoha. Where she hoped that she could find their only other relatives, members of the Kangai clan.

Whilst travelling to Konoha the pair were attacked by a small band of shinobi. This is probably the most important event in Hope's history. This one battle was an awakening of hope's latent abilities...Hope was asleep in the back of the (horse-drawn) cart when the cart slowly came to a halt. With Hope being a light sleeper he was instantly woken up. After peering through a small gap in the sheet that separated him from the outside, Hope instinctively took note of the hostile figures and began to concentrate his chakra. Reaching out into the distance he sensed the chakra of four other figures. Concentrating his chakra again, Hope performed the hidden mist jutsu: A thin mist covered the area making it difficult to see as Hope slipped out of the cart and made his way over to where he figured his mom was. After finding his mother fumbling about in the mist he tried to get as much information from her as he could. She explained to him that they were being held up by highway men.

Muffled voices came from the mist. The voices were gradually becoming louder; They were getting closer. Hope's mother started to panic which in turn led the men towards them. He shouted a warning at them but a sadistic face emerged from the fog followed by a handful of Shuriken. They shot through the air, struck the pair and embedded themselves into the skin of their newly found victims. A blood-curdling scream erupted from his mothers mouth. One of the Shuriken had slit her throat! In a moment of sheer panic, Hope scooped his mother up into his arms and fled.

After putting his mother down on the back of the cart and thinking of what to do next, Hope decided to engage the enemy shinobi. Taking a leaf out of Zabuza's book and after arming himself with a kunai, Hope focused more chakra into a dense hidden mist jutsu. Slipping into the mist, Hope used the kunai to replicate the silent killing technique. Silently and Skilfully Hope weaved around the members of the group. He slipped in and out of the mist. In and out of sight. Silently slitting throats as he went. Sensing himself getting weary, he let the mist disperse itself.

The mist cleared and Hope fell to his knees, gasping for air. He sat there for a while catching his breath although he didn't seem to notice the two remainders of the group of shinobi that stood in front of him.

One of the two gasped in horror as he noticed the bloody bodies that littered the area and Hope sitting in the middle of the sea of bodies. The shinobi were an odd pair. They were so different; they had conflicting appearances. The silent one had long black hair that stopped short of his shoulders and he had a hard angular face whereas the shocked one had short light red spiked hair that seemed to frame his youthful, kind looking face. The silent one unsheathed a Katana and prepared to strike. Frightened to death, Hope acted on impulse and started to weave a chain of handsigns. This jutsu would be all or nothing. If hope could pull this off then he'd surely be safe or at least it would be safe enough to carry on to Konoha...

Getting inpatient the silent shinobi of the pair lifted the Katana to cut down the boy that knelt at their feet. The light gleamed of the blade at weird angle so that the light reflected off of his headband at a variety of angles and in a range of colours. Hope watched as the blade stopped right before his eyes and dropped to the ground, as a large amount of water in the form of a dragon crashed into the pair knocking them off of the feet. Due to near chakra exhaustion Hope fell to the ground, joining the sea of bodies, in an unconscious slumber.

After he woke up a few hours later he took anything that was of use to him from the cart and prepared to set off to Konoha. He wrapped a bandage around his mother's throat and picked her up, putting her onto his back in a piggy back position. With joining Konoha and becoming a great shinobi in mind, Hope set off towards Konoha. Towards his only remaining family.

Once arriving in Konoha he discovered that there were in fact only two members of the Kangai Clan there. A father and a son. It was quite funny really because he wasn't sure how exactly he was related to them so for all he knew they could distant relatives or half brothers or whatever. Well either way Hope planned to meet them, begin his life within the village and hopefully become an ANBU black ops member. After all he was supposedly a gifted shinobi like his ancestor (right?).

It has even been said that when a powerful member of this Kangai branch clan is upset it begins to rain in the local area.  The second type are for those who are both apart of the branch Kangai clan, and have awakened the Nidaime Koudogan, which allows them to do small ninjutsu at their will without having to use a large amount of chakra(i.e which would be C - D/B ranked).

Info: Hope seems to look exactly the same as the Nidaime Hokage and he possess the some skill the same areas. Shinobi would be wise to avoid Hope's Suiton jutsu if he becomes angered.

Yeah, I'm working on it right now. I've already pmed Lifeanddeath to see if I can have a Chuunin ranked character in his village and I'm discussing another part of the Kangai clan with Bao/Yoshimaru.

Well, it's just that we see it so much that it's becoming quite bothersome considering the fact that the chances of looking exactly like an ancestor from about 200 or so years ago are extremely slim yet.

Yeah sorry about that. I wasn't aware of the difference in the timeline. I had edited the appearance of my character so the only similar things they have with each other is the hair style, eye colour and general facial structure. Hope only wears the armour of the Nidaime on special occasions.

After discussing the discovery of a branch of the Kangai clan, Yoshimaru suggested that I submit the information here in my character creation and add it onto the Clan. So yeah I guess that's everything now....
