Personality: Hotoke is one of those just plain good people in the world. He is a very gentle person with a great love for life in general. He sees it as life should be seen, a gift, and has a very forgiving nature, believing that almost all men, if given the chance, are capable of doing the right thing. However, he does understand that true evil exists and it was for that reason along he became a shinobi. To purify the world of that evil his only goal. Generally he is not a very intense person aside from in battles. However, against a friend he will treat it like a game, a source of enjoyment for them both. Against a true enemy, he will treat even the smallest battle as an all out war. This is because the only people he views as true enemies are those who are truly evil or have harmed someone close to him. He shows great love and is easy to get along with. He never acts out of spite and usually can keep a level head.

History:

Hotoke was born into the Sukkaku clan a mere decade ago. Given this is a fairly young genin, but by no means the youngest to have ever been one. Being born into this family is the main source of his happy go lucky attitude and over all love for life. The clan has few shinobi families, and Hotoke was not born unto one of them. Instead he was raised by one of the entertaining families who excelled in mastering their skills for the use of parties and wowing the minds of people. Hotoke however, from an early age, decided he wanted to one day become a ninja. He is aware that despite all of his hope and good intentions, some evil still exists in the world. There was an incident about when he was the age of 5 that opened his eyes to the evil, though he never speaks of it, only alluding to it randomly at times. This has given him the determination he has as a shinobi.

He enrolled into the academy at the age of seven. His parents were against it, as were the instructors of the academy. He was too young and had only received up to that point, training in the use of his own clans jutsu for non combat purposes. At the moment he was not a warrior. Hotoke was able to convince them other wise though by explaining his reasons for wanting to do so and displaying the great determination in his heart. He also reminded them that it was just the academy and they could keep him there as long as they wished and would not graduate until he was ready to be a warrior. So they allowed it, and were impressed by his quick growth.

Again Hotoke's determination and resolve shined as he quickly grasped the concepts taught at the academy. Still it took him three long years to get to the point that he could be allowed to graduate. This was nothing of his own fault, but simply that he, unlike most of the other students, did not come from a shinobi background and was basically starting from scratch and completely having to relearn how he was going to apply his techniques for ninja uses instead of entertainment ones. At the age of ten he graduated finally. He was placed into a squad with two other ninja, Sendo Ketsueki and Dageki Hyuuga. The three were placed under the care of Faust, a well respected shinobi and their training began.

Faust was anything but an easy teacher, and there was some conflict in the group starting out. There was a vast natural ability and age difference between Sendo and Hotoke, and with Sendo's attitude, he often took to belittling the young light ninja and teasing him, not only for his lack of talent but also for his outlook on life and humans as a whole. As time went on, Sendo became more relentless. Hotoke never let it bother him, knowing that Sendo was one who could be a better person if he wanted to. He made it a goal, that achieving greater stature as a ninja, he would gain Sendo's respect and hopefully change who his team mate was as a person. It was this that allowed him to master most of his clans abilities at their most basic level fairly quickly. This was helped along not along by his sensei, but also by Dageki who held respect for Hotoke's level at his young age and took him under his wing. The two formed a tight bond and Hotoke looked at him almost as though he were an older brother. After being a genin for six months, Hotoke began to search for an oppurtunity to challenge Sendo or at least show his new skills and how far he had come.

Added a paragrpah. Instead of being new recruits, the three will have been under traniing for six months. I think that should be adequate time :p. Ill be adding an additional paragraph to Dageki and Sendo as well.

No matter what we put in our history, every single Gennin has to start out at D Rank on their app to be perfectly fair to every one else and to maintain organization.

2. Are you referring to the one with 3 words of personality? I don't think Gn was in the modding mode at the time to be honest, but I didn't catch that one till just now.

3. Ok, my fault for wording it wrong. You're referring to it as if I meant it IC when it's more of an OOC kind of thing.

4. Umm, no that actually makes it worse in a way considering that would be biase (Note that my own Gennin is a D rank yet I also have 2 S Ranks)
