What is anyone but the sum of their genetic information? Red hair. Brown Hair. Black Hair. Blond Hair. The formulas to create every human is contained with their bodies. For the first 9 months or so of their life, the genetic information they inherit from their biological contributers, come together to create every trait we see in the Homo sapien species. Ah, but the problem with humans is that they are weak and flawed, it is my purpose to create the perfect species to rule this planet. I will create the Ichthyus sapien to rule this planet. ---Some insane scientist. Perhaps the man was insane in his quest to create the 'perfect human', however he still set about his path in the twisted tunnels underneath Kirigakure. By experimenting with a combination of human DNA and the DNA of various aquatic creatures he sough to create a separate species, superior to humans. After several decades of work, he managed to successfully mature a fetus to development. The Fetus had both traits of the Human and Aquatic species and at the time they each seemed fully functional. Overtime the child matured and developed into a fully grown man. He never officially became a shinobi, as he was the scientist's secret he did however learn some shinboi skills as he secretly watched the village. After some time he grew tired of being the scientists Guinea pig and used his self-taught skills to escape. For several years he wandered the lands, before he found a woman he loved and had a child, and thus the clan was born, as the child inherited his father's traits. For years the clan spread, settling in countries filled with plenty of water. Many became Shinobi, while others sought less violent careers.
Special Info: - Must have a dominant affinity towards water
- Are capable of using water jutsu at a chakra cost of one rank below the actual rank of the technique [D rank jutsu at E rank Cost, C rank jutsu at D rank cost, etc]
- They also have the genetic trait which spawns from those who can utilize advanced elements, which allows them to utilize jutsu with one hand-seals. However, they lack the ability to create their own advanced element.
- They also, for no inherent reason have a chakra capacity about ½ times larger than the average Ninja.
Members of this clan have developed a series of genetic mutations, spawning originally from the experimentation. - Each clan member have an extra organ that functions in the same manner of gills [drawing in oxygen from the water] and feed it into the lungs. They also have developed webbed feet.
- Their bodies are adapted to high pressures & long periods underwater, making their bodies more durable and their muscles more developed[making them stronger than the average human.] [20% stronger & faster than those of equivelent rank.]
- Enhanced eyesight[Able to see 50% farther than the average human with 20/20 vision]
- Able to swim exceptionally fast.[due to slightly webbed feet. Not to the extent of a duck.]
- They also possess a passive electroreception the which allows them to sense[up to 1/2 miles] the bioelectric fields generated by other animals.

This includes base water manipulations [non detailed structures only and only within 10 feet of the user] and the ability to enter a water like state, liquefying their bodies, they are capable of doing this with one part of their body or their whole body at will.. If a member was damaged in solid form, they could liquefy themselves to heal their wounds, even if it was a loss of a limb.[However fatal wounds still apply.] However, they possess a very effective weakness. Any lightning based attack above d rank is capable of disrupting their control over their bodies and causing them to become unable to liquefy[if in solid state] and their body will disperse itself [if in liquid form] and they will be unable to move or re-form for 2 posts. Also , they must consume large amounts of water daily otherwise they will not be able to liquefy themselves. From C rank and below, clan members can only liquefy their arms & Legs [one limb at a time.]. From C rank they can liquefy their entire torso+ arms or entire lower body.
