Sparring

Once again, Shihouin was out on the training field wondering what technique's he could come up with. Hearing that there was a new genin in Konoha made everything a whole lot more interesting as well. Not only did Shihouin want to try some new tricks out with the genin, but he also wanted to get a gauge on his strength level. He had a desire to be strong, but not necessarily the strongest. Power was an important factor for him and so was the competition. He couldn't lose if he wanted to become a chuunin.

Strolling towards the training ground, he'd picked a forest with more dense trees and a darker setting. The sunlight was barely able to make it through the canopy, but it wasn't dark to the point that they couldn't see normally. Since an invite would bring him quickly, Shihouin would have to make sure he was prepared for anything. While he had the time, he quickly prepared his move set and checked to see if he had all of his tools and weapons on him. Perching in an obvious spot for the genin to see, he would wait until it was time.

Togyou was groggy on this day and morning. His hair was scattered around across his head and was still wet from his rushed shower this morning. He had just gotten back into the village from a long trip that the Hokage had sent him on. He was back in the village and already some punk had challenged him. Gyo spat on the ground and pulled out an energy bar and opened it up as he continued to walk towards the battlefield. The morning sun was bright and Gyo had to close his eyes to keep from being blinded in his one revealed eye.

As he finished opening the energy bar he took a bite from it and just sighed in that pleasure one gets from something delicious entering ones mouth. The strawberry flavor mixed in with his saliva releasing the full experience of the flavor. It was one of the few things anyone could enjoy. However as soon as it came it had ended. Gyo's expression changed back into a lifeless block of nothingness. As his boot squished in the mud that was still there from the rainfall they had received the other day. He moved his neck to one side and with a large crack went the bones as he popped his neck. He snorted as he removed his hand from his pocket and brushed through his hair the moisture in it flying out through the air reflecting the sun light.

Gyo entered the vicinity of the battlefield and he stopped for a moment and started to speak. ”Target: Shihouin Uchiha, C-rank Genin, age 14, member of the Uchiha clan and utilizes the Katon element. Charged with a personal call out for a fight. Sentenced to humiliating defeat.” He then started to walk forward and stopped just under the tree branch Shihouin had perched on. ”Ready to get going?” From this point on Gyo looked at the landscape. It was dark and had freckled bits of light throughout the forest causing shadows to be separated by small bits of light. The tree trunks also created vantage points to utilize his jutsu's due to height. However this could also be used against him. He also had a secret on his side if he needed it and the sky was this secrets limit.

Gyo jumped further into the darkness his black shirt and pants allowing him to blend in with the surrounding. The first thing Gyo did was to perform hand signs and close his eyes. As he finished the string he got down on a knee and waited with one of his hands in a focusing seal. Shihouin had most likely used his Sharingan and all he would see was his chakra flow while he performed his hand signs after this he would see nothing. However what happened was that Gyo's shadow enveloped the other shadows around him in a two meter area and it would become evident if he stepped into this area.

Why did he go backwards into the darkness? Whatever, Shihouin had no time to waste on worrying about his opponent. In this type of forest, if he played his cards right he would have the advantage soon enough. Shihouin's image appeared to go into the opposite direction, about 10 meters out from his original spot. There he spent his time preparing his move set and plan, making sure that he was not in view of his eyes. Being on the opposite ends of his opponents sight, he'd be undercover.

However, baiting his opponent would take some time. He had to buy some time and keep his opponent busy at the same time. Quickly thinking up of an idea while he prepared his area, another E rank clone would run towards Togyou's last know position for a direct attack. Sure he would see slam through this, but it would be Shihouin's next moves which would play all the importance. He would wait, even if he had to.

Togyou smirked as he closed his eyes as his opponent moved. This was when his sensory perception of chakra came into play and as he cleared his mind he could just sense the genin's chakra. It was weak due to Gyo's natural abilities not yet intuned with his chakra in full. However it was still there and by his educated guess it was just about ten to twelve meters in front of him. Just out of visual range in this environment but easy to get to. Togyou jumped up into the tree branch flinging a kunai forward as the presence of minimal chakra came closer. The kunai flashed only once in the sunlight as it shot towards the enigma that was obviously a clone that was being used to bait him.

As he stood on the tree branch he let his eye open and pierce upwards through the canopy to see a shape in the sky hovering around the area riding the heat current upwards into the sky. It was completely black and circled the area like a hawk looking for its prey. Gyo smirked as he looked at this majestic bird and then he brought his hand up to his hair and flipped it down to cover his eye. The bird in the sky then began to fly away heading down the canopy towards where shihouin was. Gyo then jumped threw the tree branches slowly to not make any sounds that would be heard by his opponent. As he drew within 4 meters of Shihouin. He was in the tree still hidden by the shadows due to his black clothing he looked outwards through the shadow and licked his lips.

As he licked his lips his first attack came down from the trees the falcon he had seen earlier came swooping down and under the canopy hidden by the shadows yet again due to it being completely black. The bird was Gyo's and his name was Aisu the Falcon. As the bird went flying it opened its wings wider and chakra formed on its feathers as it was just above Shihouin. As it flapped its wings a flurry of chakra feathers flew out and shot down at shihouin directly from above him. These feathers flew like thrown kunai except they were going directly downwards meaning they were moving even faster due to gravity forcing them towards the earth. The feathers if they made contact would be just like kunai stabbing into someone and would clearly be deadly if hit this early in the game.

As soon as the bird made its bombing strike it dove back upwards out of the canopy it having served its purpose. Gyo moved into a position for any chance of retaliation as his hands were brought together ready to perform hand signs or move if needed be.

It was time. Shihouin smirked at his hidden position as the genin began moving closer towards him. With every step he made, more and more became totally evident as to what abilities this genin had. It seemed that he had some sort of extra sensory abilities, more than likely the ability to sense chakra. Sniffing his opponent out in the climate of this forest while at genin rank was less than likely. Either way, if he was sensing his opponent or not he had the ability to get closer within a 30 meter range it seemed -judging from the distance he moved back- to his opponent. It would be difficult to deal with. Bastard.

However, he came into a slight predicament. The kunai he'd thrown at him wasn't a big deal. To keep his position safe from his opponent and his move to remain in mystery, he deflected it and sent it off towards another aimless direction in front of him to where it would be of no use. What was more than suspicious was why he looked up into the canopy. Shihouin looked back at the kunai that had been thrown his direction and wondered why.

And then, it was about to hit him. His opponent was getting closer but regardless it was time. All around the area, at least 10 meters around Shihouin's position which had now encase his opponent began to explode in random direction. Shrapnel from the wood of trees shot out in any direction as every single tree began to blow up in popping explosions. Would his opponent catch the sizzle? T0 make matters worse, a wire had been extended in a V shape around the trees with Shihouin at the point. Performing the hand signs and performing his Ryuuka after the first explosion, fire would rip down the translucent wire and set the trees a blaze. Shihouin couldn't escape the wood chips from the trees, so the Kage Bunshin in place popped. Of course Shihouin had his real eyes on his opponent and was elsewhere, sure he was out of Togyous sensory range.
