Takigakure to Amegakure

The sudden tendency to sing "Ain't no sunshine" struck Riku harder than a surprise punch from his uncle to his cheek. Sunshine hits the top of Riku's head, regardless of the amount of hair he had on his head, the sun seemed to have the conscious thought of evading every follicle of hair and down on his scalp. Feeling his sweat drip down the front of his brow, he wipes it away with his free hand. The other hand that he had was holding onto the sleeping Leon.

The teen who was lightly snoring on his shoulder had passed out again, again for the third time in four days. The thing that made this unconscious lump of fluids different from the rest was the fact that he didn't smell like old blood, dried fecal matter, sweat and building dust. His smell was now lilac and lemons from the clothes he recieved from Kaji this early morning. The kid must've reeked if Kaji caught the vibrant smell and asked him to change; Riku did not notice the smell but it was only out of senses being so use to smells like that and he probably smelled things that were worst off.

The one question that keeped on pressing on him was why was this kid always unconscious? He didn't get that. Never in his life has he seen someone with this weak of vitality. Who would think that someone who was willing to be train as a shinobi have such low vitale. He'll have to blame Tsuna for his weak endurance just so his question can be answered and he wouldn't have to think about it. The task at hand was travelling to the village of the Rain. It'll be right at home with the downpour of rain constantly falling. An odd place rain to constantly fall in a small country that lacks the sun. Scientifically, rain would need the sun as the sun would evaporate the water from the earth and yet it is constantly overcast-ridiculous much-with no let up of cloud cover. Questioning logic of that calibur makes intellectuals question the world in it's entirity.

Kaji movement was irregular in Riku's peripheal. He had to turn his head to see what Kaji was doing and not to his surprise he was doing a dance. Looking at him again, it didn't appear to be dancing but rather constant banging of his head as the noise in his ear was playing music. Riku could hear the drums being banged upon and the guitar streaking in his ear while hearing a soft roar of a voice. He didn't know Kaji listen to and he didn't want to know what he was listening to, it just sounded like a complete mess from his point of view. Hoping Kaji was planning on something to do with Leon, he mouthed a few words at Kaji

"So what do you plan on doing with Leon? From your report, you said you wanted to enhance his dying will flame" Knowing Kaji could hear he points to Leon anyways. Kaji could see the stream of saliva from the corner of Leon's mouth and drip onto his shirt. Riku felt something warm and he looked on his shoulder. He made gestures of batting Leon's head away from him but the drool only continued. He wiped the saliva off his shoulder and bats Leon's head again.

Kaji had been head banging as soon as they left the ashes of Takigakure. His devilish smile had never left his face once as he had felt the heat of that smoke rise and surround him. This had left him with a sadistic twinge throughout his body. He had been walking after popping in his i-pod and turned it onto a heavy rock band. His head bob had started unconditionally from the rhythmic beat.

He continued to walk obliviously without caring about anyone around him. However as they got closer to the rain he thought about something. He wondered how and why it would continue to rain in such a place without sunshine. It would seem impossible. However he was able to catch the view of Riku mouthing something and he made it out perfectly. "So what do you plan on doing with Leon? From your report, you said you wanted to enhance his dying will flame"

Kaji plucked out his headphones and altered his course to make his way towards Riku. As he did so he began to speak.”Did you know that moisture can travel over long distances before It gets enough together before it can precipitate. My theory for why it rains in Amegakure so often and so continuously is that it must be a magnet of some source for water sources which makes it draw in the precipitation of the environments around it causing it to become a supercell of pure rainfall. That or someone really just likes making it rain in that village.”

As Kaji finished he moved close enough to touch either however he walked parallel to them as he slowly removed one of his black gloves revealing his bare brown skin. He slowly moved his hand to sit on Leons head jerking it back off of Riku's shoulder and his other hand went into a string of hand signs. As he finished the hand signs he looked at Riku. ”Its not about increasing his power of Dying will flame. More of like his mental perception of his abilities and chakra and ninja society. I'm going to teach him the essentials of being a ninja all before we get to Amegakure. Seishin Mind invasion!” Kaji yelled the technique name as he finished the hand signs.

~Inside Leons Mind~

Kaji's seishin jutsu allowed him to mess with peoples minds and this technique allowed Kaji to rip the persons perception out of the physical realm but also split it into two different things. In this view it left an unconscious leon and a now completely awake Leon in a new realm.

The new realm was a room that had no walls or ceilings but made someone feel enclosed inside a small area. There out of the pure white nothingness of thought came into view a blast of color as a Room that mirrored a village academy room. At the desk that was at the bottom of the room sat Kaji and in one of the pews sat a leon.

Kaji had a devilish and hideous smirk on his face as he let out a deep yawn looking up at Leon.”Well hello kid. I'm here to be your teacher. My name is Kaji Koi Kanto and this is our mental perception. Don't think I'm your friend I'm here to beat the facts into your mind and give you a taste of true pain so you'll come off stronger. You may hate me for what i'll do and what I'm going to do. Now any questions?” As Kaji finished he swung up his legs and let his feet hit on the hard oak desk with a slight bang as he awaited the inevitable questions.

The fireplace and chair disappeared from Leon’s mind, the sudden disappearing and reappearing within his own mindscape, along with the random and freakish people and sites that he had been seeing, were all becoming very ordinary, much to Leon’s dismay. Normally the whole, jumping between mindscapes and settings thing would be a delight in a dream, but for Leon, it just meant some other external force was pulling at him. Blinking his eyes due to the excessive white color, Leon finally managed to look around without blinding himself and realized he was sitting… somewhere. It looked like a school, but it didn’t look like any school he had gone to before.

Looking up, he saw the man that gave him these clothes, Kanjo… kanhe... Kaji…… yeah, that was the name, Kaji, sitting across from him. Leon stifled a yawn as he began talking and listened carefully. He failed at keeping the yawn in however, mindscape or not he was still exhausted in more ways than one. The whole, being really angry at a village, expending nearly all the energy he had, and being thrown through a wall, coupled with surviving an explosion that took out an entire village and then some was quite draining on a person, especially a non-shinobi.

Listening to what Kaji was saying, Leon sighed as he caught the hidden meaning. Basically, Kaji was gonna kick the shit out of him, no ifs ands or buts about it. It obviously wasn’t going to be easy, Leon had heard Riku talk about this guy multiple times before, and based on what Kaji just told him, it was going to be excruciatingly painful. Leon sighed again and looked up as Kaji let his boots bounce on the desk in front of him.

“So basically, Im gonna get the shit beat out of me. Im assuming this is either because I stole Riku’s wallet again, or you have something to do with the Vongola. The third option that comes to mind is that you are just a sadist for pulling this on an exhausted civilian, but I already knew that from listening to Riku talk about you every now and again,” Leon said, rubbing his eyes and blinking slowly. Dreamscape or not, he really was exhausted, and just wanted to let his body rest and recover. A nice bed would be even better, however given the fact that they were probably still travelling, a bed was very far out of the picture at the moment. As far as Leon knew, he was still being carried like a sack of potatoes on Riku’s back, which wouldn’t surprise him in the least.

“Well, if Im gonna get messed up beyond belief and shit myself due to it, we might as well get it out of the way, wouldn’t you agree?” Leon spoke again, stretching as he did so. He didn’t know what Kaji had planned, but if it was anything physical, Leon wanted t be ready. It was unlikely though since Kaji needed to enter his mind.
