(Konoha -> Oto)
The relentless clip clop of the horses shoed feet resound through out the day, though over the coarse of several long hours Lady Coal was able to adjust. Though it wasn't her first time travling by carriage, it had certainly been some time. A few pretty coins had been paid for this first class ticket, and Coal was travling in the lap of luxery. Soft red curtains were laid open against the glass of the window to her left, a matching partner allowing the sunlight to filter in through the opposite side of her coach. Amid the endless bouncing and rocking of the horse drawn carriage, the powerful coils of metal springs were busy steadying the cab, assuring the refined lady had a pleasnt and peacful trip.
The springs creak with each little bounce, but the softer ride in the carriage allowed Coal to spend a little time with one of her favorite past times. Her book was long since cast aside in favor of the passing landscape, and a small glass of wine. The sweet red liquid sloshes slightly in the delicate glass she grasps between two fingers, but it doesn't ever come close to spilling. Even the most jarring of bumps failed to disturb the four passengers who were making this trip, and amongst them all, Coal was wrapped in deep conversation over matters of rebirth, enlightenment, and spiritual balance. How she managed to find a coach that also held educated scholars was unknown to Coal, but a blessing she thanked her lucky stars for. With such great conversation, the trip would be done in no time.
Above and outside, the driver had the coach rolling at a pleasant and constant pace. It'd only take another six or seven hours before the four arrived at their destination: the Rice Country. Reasons for Coal's trip was kept to herself, but the driver was welcome to have an experienced ninja on board. It was one of the few times a bodyguard actually had paid the driver for an escourt, though he knew he could find protection with the honorable ninjas of the Leaf. Unafraid of the dangers of the open countryside, the driver just ambles his way on towards the awaiting Rice Country, and the bounty it held within.
