Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3] Empty
PostSubject: Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3]   Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3] I_icon_minitimeSun Jul 25, 2010 9:46 pm

This tournament would decide a lot of things for Shihouin. Despite all the training he'd done to get to his rank, the training he was doing to master his Sharingan, the training he was doing to increase his skill level, Shihouin always felt a general lack of strength. The Uchiha that came before him, all of them surpassed their generation and became famed throughout history. Itachi Uchiha... last year if Shihouin had been Itachi he would have been ANBU captian. Yet here Shihouin was, walking and talking as the genin he was.

Could he live up the name of his clan? Could he live up to the skill of ANBU? Shihouin's admiriation for ANBU and Itachi Uchiha went futher than skin deep. The strength of his eyes was astuoundingly strong and he was said to have never went a battle with them off. He had the same blood running through his viens, but could he actually become that strong? Logically, Shihouin's thought process was on keeping his element of surprise, but he ignored that facet of his mind and entered this tournament to test his skills. An unknown enemy, a person with skills he had know knowledge of. How would his eyes let him react to the enemy? How quickly could he formulate an attack plan?

Shihouin had heard of Sanzen's victory against a very capable ninja. Maybe she would be watching in the crowd. Sanzen as a chuunin had defeated him and thrashed him about and killed him. Yet, Shihouin had defeated her. The doubt of certaininty, the unknown ability of Sanzen's real skill clouded his mind like a hurriance. He was convinced that Sanzen had been going easy on him this entire time. He was certain of it, sure that his skill level was not where he thought it to be. This doubt would force him in to overdrive.

Sanzen reminded Shihouin of his mother and in fact while seeing her, Shihouin had to hold back and think before speaking so he wouldn't let the word 'mom' come out in accident. His mom looked and acted very similar to Sanzen in a certain way, they both wanted him to grow up and become a strong ninja and were both willing to help him reach that goal. The existance of Sanzen proved that his mothers will was still alive with in him, and in order for him to hold true to both of their wishes he would have to test that.

Prize or not, Shihouin was on a mission. He walked into the battlefield, looking around at the large area. There were a few trees and shaded area over in the corner and the ground was speckled with grass and dirt. People watched from above, looking down into the battlefield as Shihouin continued to walk towards the Jounin in charge of the fight. He couldn't see his opponent just yet, but he would be prepared. Wearing the same black Uchiha outfit, he strolled into the field with a walk of uncertainty which even the crows could see. Yet that same walk alluded to a question. Would he win or not. With all of his weapons present, he presented himself ready to everyone.

Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3]   Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3] I_icon_minitimeSun Jul 25, 2010 10:21 pm

Yoshimaru walked past all of the people who crowded his entrence into the area. There was a multitude of people who were there to see this tournament kick off, and they had come to see Yoshimaru and other fight. He looked side to side with his eyes, eying the people very supiciously as if he was paronoid of something. He seemed like a strange young man this way, and also his hair was all messed up making him look even crazier. He was going to get the advantage in this fight through his appearence; he must look as if he wasn't all there or else he would lose his advantage of surprise.

Yoshimaru peered ahead, and a small crack of light shown itself through the crowd to him. Finally, he poped out of the crowded enterence to the arena and the light got very bright. I was a very nice day, and the arena was very nice too. The sun was out shining and there were very few clouds in the sky. As Yoshimaru looked around all crazy and paranoid like, he noticed that most of the arena was like a traditional one. Mostly everything was bare except for a number of trees that had grown on on side of the area, though it only comprised of only abou 5% of the arena's area, the rest was mostly barron ground. Around him were high walls as he spun around about five times, and he feel to the ground. Soon he got up with his head still swirling and he looked ever more paranoid still looking around at everyone suspiciously. He could he some whispers in the stands of the arena; they were talking about him behind his back, commenting about his obvious mental dispoistion because most if not all of the people in the stands didn't even know him; he was just a genin.

Finally, as Yoshimaru continued to walk to his oppenent he started to put on a crooked like smile as he still looked around, and his crimson eyes seemingly glowed at him. He had looked like a maniac that that point in time, but he noticed something oddly familiar. The genin he was facing looked like someone he had seen before, but he didn't believe he had. This person looked different from the person he had seen. 'This person... He reminds me of some of the other people I have seen in the village.' He thinks for a second while still acting like a crazy person. 'Wait, I remember now. He reminds me of the Uchiha clan, his hair, his skin type, his dark eyes, his face... There is no mistake he is an Uchiha... This might be a little more than interesting.'

With those thoughts in his mind, he moved forward to where the jounin proctor was standing. He looked up at the young genin in his face, and he smiled wildly. For all the genin could know, he could try to hug or kill him at an instant. "Hi! I need to make a poopy! Wait, not anymore," he said with a dull voice that would sound oddly like a 'special' person. He waved his hand at the genin not taking his eyes off of the genin. He was waiting for the jounin proctor to begin the fight.

Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3]   Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3] I_icon_minitimeSun Jul 25, 2010 10:44 pm

Shihouin watched as his opponent could barely make it into the battlefield without falling down. Sure that it was just a ploy to fool him into thinking that his opponent was incompetent, Shihouin ignored it and continued on. He kept both hands in his pocket and held them calmly, watching his opponent approach the Jounin who would start the match. Shihouin kept his eyes out for any odd features about his opponent. Was there anything that gave away his attack style or any information about him? His mind began to collect information with every step he made, analyzing him and coming up with predictions for the future.

Yet as calm as he stood there, he couldn't tell much. There wasn't much to tell yet. Shihouin would jsut have to wait. The battle would give him the disadvantage form his normal strategy, but he had to thank Ayame for this. With this battlefield he could formulate a plan based off his his battle with Sanzen and his battle with Ayame to breed a new plan into existance. Shihouin waited.

The Jounin waited for the two boys to get close enough to each other, holding his and up to silence the crowd. After the murmurs and small talk died down into complete silence, he continued to hold his right hand up. The both of them were about three meters away from the Jounin and about six meters away from each other. With a deep voice, he spoke the call for the battle to being. Shihouin prepared himself and began to think of his move and the next move after that.

"Shihouin Uchiha vs Yoshimaru Ibiki, Round Three Begin!"

He threw his hand down in between them giving them the signal to start as he faded out of existance with a shunshin to higher ground. Shihouin's move would be simple, he would pull out three shuriken from his pocket and throw them at Yoshimaru hips the moment he heard "begin." Aiming them for his hips in staggered intervals so that they would attack one after the other with about half a meter between each. He would simutanelously move back one meter and prepare his next move which would consist of hand signs. He kept his right foot up and his left one slightly lifted but the thickness of the nin boot would hide this from his opponent.

Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3]   Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3] I_icon_minitimeSun Jul 25, 2010 11:53 pm

Yoshimaru heard the Jounin say begin, and he watched as Shihoun reached for his ninja pouch, and he mimiced doing the same, but instead of grabbing three shuriken from his pouch like Shihoun, he grabbed four kunai, each of them in between the spaces inbetween his fingers. He saw about each of the shuriken were about 1 meter apart and he was roughly six meters away from his oppenent; he had to react fast. He countered with the same type of move canceling out the shuriken in mid air. 'Ah, trying to get the jump on me?' He looked compident down and not like an impudent retard.

He moved make just as Shihoun had done, about one meter, putting an eight meter distance in between them, and he kept moving. As he moved back he threw a kunai at Shihouin because he was forming hand signs. 'Can't leave him undistracted using hand signs freely. That would be rather irresponcible for anyone to do, let alone me.' Just as everything was happening blood underniethe his clothes were seeping through his pours; the blood was hidden by his clothes. He wasn't willing to give up his knowledge advantage yet; he knew the boy was an Uchiha, and as such, he was dangerous, so were his eyes. He was going to have to solve the problem some how.

Yet again he moved back, but he did so from side to side. Each backwards running step would be about one meter. 'He has something planned for me being that close, and I do not like it... He is so quick on the ball, judging by he threw his shuriken, and I do not want to get cought in a jutsu an Uchiha has up his sleeve.' Each time he took a step back he would reach into his ninja pouch and grab out one kunai, and toss it into the other hand where he would attach exploding tags to the back with ease from tags he got from his back pocket. It was a simple yet efficient way to get away from the enemy while keeping up an offensive. When all is said and done he had four kunai with exploding tags on them, two in each hand in the spaces between them. This all happened in a matter of seconds in reaction to Shihouin's starter attack.

Yoshimaru throws all four at once, each going toward Shihouin, but they were about three meters apart each by manipulating his fingers in certain ways as to creat a desired effect. And not all of them were going straight for Shihouin, but they looked as if they were. Two of the four would miss Shihouin on either side of him by meters while the others would head straight towards him. Yoshimaru continued to move back at this pace until he would be nearly ten meters from the arena wall, or until Shihounin would force him from his destined path. 'This might get a little dangerous if I stay too close to him.'

Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3]   Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3] I_icon_minitimeMon Jul 26, 2010 12:30 am

Shihouin was quick with his moveset and made sure that he performed hand-signs while moving back a meter or so at the same time. Since his tools were in his pocket -and his hands had been in his pocket since the beginning- it was a hell of a lot easier to get tools out of his pocket and into the air to engage his enemy. The counter to the tools had offered Shihouin ample time to finish his hand signs due to the shuriken being six meters away from him, each staggered a meter after another. This was simple, since the opponent choose to engage in countering the shuirken he would have to wait to hit each of them since they had been thrown in a staggered position. By this time, the six hand signs needed to complete the Goukakyuu had been finished.

Shihouin's feet placement allowed him to quickly dash forward two meters, cutting down the distance back to six meters. Simultaneously he would release the Goukakyuu at his opponent and prepare his next moveset. Behind the large ball of rolling flame, Shihouin supplemented the attack and focused on decreasing the range between him and his opponent. Even the first thrown kunai and remaining ones after that would not be able to fly straight through the technique, and if they some how were able to, the explosive notes would not make through fire and Shihouin would be capable of dealing with his opponent and the tools with a few simple tricks.

Shihouin kept his eyes peeled and senses on his opponents chakra. At this range he was capable of knowing where his opponent was. When the opponent was eye sight of him again, he would keep his eyes trained on him to see if he would notice the three tomoe Sharingan with his eyes. It didnt seem as if the opponent had decided to watch Shihouin's feet to predict his movements, which might play useful for him later on.

Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3]   Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3] I_icon_minitimeMon Jul 26, 2010 8:17 pm

Yoshimaru watched Shihouin as he proformed his hands signs and used the katon technique. The large fire technique was heading straight for him, but beforehand Yoshimaru had thrown the kunai, two of which were not directed toward Shihouin, rather they were direct slightly away from him, on his left and his right. Yoshimaru also took note that before the technique had fully materialized and blocked his vision of Shihouin that he started to move up. 'So, he is trying to close the distance ah? Well, too bad for him he ignored me two kunai with exploding tags on them.' As Yoshimaru kept going back and at this point in time he was 10-15 meters away from Shihouin and his jutsu, but the jutsu was gaining fast on him he had to dodge. The jutsu swallowed up the exploding tags and the kunai, but the flames wouldn't be hot enough to melt or disinigrat the kunai, rather they would be put off course by the power of the jutsu, and they would most likely be weak and warped.

As soon as his two kunai that were not aimed directly as Shihouin on either side got past the fire ball he did on hand sign which activated and exploded the exploding tags with a minor delay, which Yoshimaru had took into account. While at the same time, he pushed off the ground harder with his left foot than he had been going back previously causing him to get out of the way of the fire ninjutsu, specifically to the right of the jutsu. Although the exploding tags would be near Shihouin when they exploded, by no means would it mean that Shihouin would be gravely injured by the assult, rather it might have minor wounds, and temperary hearing lose that would last for a lengthy amount of time. As a side effect of the jutsu there would be a minor amount of smoke in the oppenents vision that might cause his oppenent's eyes to tear a little, but not major damage. The smoke wouldn't could the oppenent's vision due to him having the sharingan, and he could see through the smoke with it and at his oppenent, but not things without chakra.

As the explosions were to go off, Yoshimaru reached into his ninja pouch as quickly as possible in preparence of this attack, he took out four shuriken and threw them at Shihouin. Each one was aimed at a specific place: the first being aimed at the ground where Shihouin would have ran on, the second shuriken was aimed at his right mid torso, the third was aimed slightly to the left of Shihouin which would be forward to Shihouin, the way he was going, and the final shuriken was aimed to the top right of Shihouin from where Yoshimaru was standing, which would be nearly 1/2 meter above his head.

Yoshimaru continued this jump type of running from his new position, still heading backwards towards the wall. He would be 30 meters from the wall at this point in time. And still the sky was clear except for the few fluffy, white, cumolus clouds that were there. Still, Yoshimaru kept his eyes on his oppenent with his hands together ready to form hand signs when he would need them.

PostSubject: Re: Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3]   Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3] I_icon_minitimeMon Jul 26, 2010 8:45 pm

Shihouin’s information gain began to skyrocket. With every single move he’d learned more and more about his opponent and how his opponent worked, with the information he had now he could come to several conclusions, one which was more important than anything. He could effectively say at this point that he had the advantage of the battle and if he could only push this advantage he would win. Shihouin focused on the battlefield and mentally prepared his next move as he focused on what he wanted to do with this battle.

‘Shihouin’ had lost out on the account that his opponents tools had been thrown at his present position. Once the line of sight had been broken due to the fire technique in the way of them, ‘Shihouin’ had completed the move-set he had in mind. ‘Shihouin’ didn’t make it out of the blast range and was now on the ground out of commission, but a giant shuriken had been aimed towards Yoshimaru’s position the moment he dodged towards the right of the technique. The shuriken would whirl towards his hips at high speed in an attempt to separate him in half.

Shihouins’ move-set was working well since ‘Shihouin’ had ample time to perform the quick moves under the cover of the large technique. He didn’t have a lot of time, but for what ‘Shihouin’ did, only a second, maybe a second and half was required. When the fire technique broke his and his opponent’s vision of each other, he’d had that time since he was constantly moving while performing his move-set.

Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3]   Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3] I_icon_minitimeMon Jul 26, 2010 9:41 pm

Yoshimaru looked at the thing on the ground. This was quite strange that he was on the ground, and better yeah that a large ninja star was heading towards him. He had been noticing the ninja's skills, and he was very impressed; he had been able to run faster than him, and he had the 3 tomo sharingan. 'Shit I barely have enough time to dodge!' To aid him, blood had come out from underneithe his clothes and shirt in the form of a ball which was sustaintially large enough to cover the whole ninja star and more. It went forward from him inorder to attach itself to the ninja star, and there was an extra portion went under the shuriken and explanded after the other should have attached to the shuriken out into a 2 meter wide circle that touched the ground to protect from any further attacks whether they be hidden or out in the open coming that way. This circle would knock the large shuriken off course, and hit it to the ground. It would slow down the ninja star, while Yoshimaru moved out of the way, althougth he was already moving back before hand, getting out of it's path. He continued on his path back.

His thoughts were now confirmed about the person on the ground. As soon as he had reacted this way, the shadow clone on the ground had a shuriken heading straight for it. Yoshimaru noted how the figure layed their lifeless even as the shuriken came its way. It wasn't possible that the exploding tags could have hurt him that easily. 'Where is he? There aren't many places for him to hide, and the trees are basically on the other side of the arena from here. Transformation jutsu... The large shuriken!!!' As soon as he had these thoughts the ball of blood that should have covered the large shuriken by now. The blood around it almost instantly coagulated and the iron-rich hemogolbin in the blood gave the decoagulated blood a large amount of strength. If it were true that the person was in a transformation jutsu, he wouldn't be able to move, not even to kawarmi.

He stopped where he was, using his senses to try to sense out where his oppenent might be if he didn't use a hinge technique. Where might he be? 'He used the katon release for cover, and at this point in time, I must also assume that he used a Kage Bunshin to launch that large ninja star. He could have actually Kawarmied, but why would he kawarmi and replace it with a kage bunshin wasting more chakra than was needed? I really do not think he would have. Plus why would he throw such a large shuriken? Good thing I put that circle up to cetch anything that might be hidden under it, like smaller shuriken, or maybe even another big skuriken. It would do the same thing that happened to the unhidden big skuriken. I must assume the seemingly main attack, as a supliment to the attack. My oppenent is brillient and an Uchiha to boot; I would expect nothing else out of him.' Still, he used his senses to try to find his oppenent.

PostSubject: Re: Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3]   Shihouin vs Yoshimaru [Tournament R3] I_icon_minitimeTue Jul 27, 2010 7:58 pm

Of course he was using the Shadow Shuriken technique, but Shihouin was attempting to use it in a different way than normal. This move would be in conjunction with his move before, and just like all his other moves it had already been prepared to eliminate taking too much time to perform. Shihouin would try this out for the fun of it, there wasn't much he could do to finish off the battle due to the arena set up and the fact that his opponent wouldn't stay still for anything. Shihouin's preparation for this technique would look visually pleasing and maybe it would be enough to wow the entire crowd. It was better than anything else he'd had planned.

The shuriken barreled towards his opponents position at high speed. The moment it came behind the fire technique it stopped and hovered in the air. The moment the wire from the kunai pulled to its extent, Shihouin transformed from the shadow and grabbed the shuriken and easily snapped the wire, simultaneously throwing it faster around the ball that had just been formed. Shihouin had enough time for this during the formation of the opponents attack. He backed up and drew a kunai, and continued to back up. The shuriken might hit his opponent, it might not. If the opponent was wondering how the shuriken stopped in mid-air he would more than likely over think the fact that Shihouin tied a translucent wire and put it underneath the ground to anchor it. He kept going back, keeping his eyes on his opponent. This battle was getting fairly annoying due to the terrain. At least 15 meters back from his opponent now he prepared his move-set.

This fight was getting annoying.

OOC: Due to Shihouin's overwhelming superiority in his RPing skill, I must give up this fight. Although he didn't back me into a corner, I must give now! XD Anyways, GL Shihouin, I hope you make it far in the tournament. Although I didn't RP out losing, it wasn't neccessary due to the fact that this is an OOC fight.
