| After winning his last fight with little to no difficulty, Shi was left with a lot to think on. Several things ran through his mind about his next battle, who his opponent might be and who he might be up against. There was no real way to prepare himself for this battle at all, besides the few mental and physical preparations that any ninja would do. He had all of his tools and weapons re-stocked for this fight and made sure that everything was fine with his body and his mind. His last opponent used blood for the base of his ninjutsu. Even though the Sharingan was a Kekkei Genkai, Shihouin had never seen or even heard of anyone using blood at a Kekkei Genkai. It was a weird sight to see and it was somewhat difficult to react to. He pondered on that thought for a bit, about what might’ve happened if they would have continued the fight. While walking down the dirt path road, Shihouin began to push some of those thoughts in the back of his head. With every footstep on the dusted, graveled path, he focused more on his next fight and the opponent. Maybe they would have some sort of strange techniques or something new which would make it that much more difficult for him to handle. He kept his hands in his pocket as the gears in his mind turned, walking towards the Jounin in the middle of what seemed to be a long road. The arena that they were fighting on was a lot better this time. It was a large road, almost infinitely long. It spanned across the horizon in either direction that he could see. However, the dirt road was only about 20 meters wide. Forests on either side littered the road and concealed it with lush evergreens. After about a few minutes of walking, Shi looked up at the sun as he arrived at the spot where the Jounin was waiting. He seemed to be the first one there. Road must have been east and west, since the sun had been behind him while he was traveling. Great. They would probably face off towards each other over the road, so none of them would have the disadvantage of the sun in their eyes to start the battle. The playing field was level, so he wouldn’t have to worry about his opponent getting over him. He eyed the Jounin that he was ready and waited for his opponent to show up. It was about four o’clock so it wasn’t hot out but Shi wasn’t in the mood to wait forever. - Spoiler:

| Henshu stretched under the evergreen tree on the side of the road, opening his eyes slowly and staring sleepily at the other side. Blinking quickly and clearing the sleep dust and fog from his eyes, he noticed the tournament proctor standing on the other side . Swearing he stood up and brushed the grass and dew droplets off of his clothes and slowly walked forwards, paying no heed to the time. He wasn’t late, just sleeping. Henshu shook his head.
Sleep, what a foreign concept to the young Genin. Born into a clan where everyone was an insomniac, or at least the three people he met were, sleep came almost never, and when it did, so did the nightmares. They were never easy nightmares, leaving Henshu to wake up with a chill, but dark and horrific. Those ones... Henshu shuddered. They were better off remaining in his subconscious.
Yawning as he reached the proctor, Henshu bowed slightly and turned to face his opponent. This fight was no doubt going to become very annoying very quickly.

| Shihouin kept to himself as his opponent began to make his slow arrival to the battlefield. They would have lots of time to size each other up after the fight, so he controlled a strong impulse to get the fight started the moment he saw him. He sleepily arose from the other side of the forest, on the opposite side of Shihouin. He wondered how long had he been sleeping there and had he just been sleeping that entire time. Automatically his mind began to put a horrible thought into his head. Had he set up traps on the other side of the forest? Had he gained the advantage before hand? He was quick to mind his mouth and keep silent about the situation. There was no way the Jounin would let him get the heads up like that.
He walked even closer now, his feet and body seemed to be waking up with each step. He trained his eyes on his body, looking at anything that could be used as a weapon which he mentally kept a note of. Shihouin had his sword on him, but it wouldn’t do much if he couldn’t get a solid opening. At most, that blade was a throw away tool only to make a physical blow fatal if need be. He wondered about what type of ninjutsu he might see and what type of disadvantages he would be at and how everything would play out. Hopefully this would work to his favor…
His opponent arrived and dipped his head in respect towards the Jounin and then looked his way. Shihouin looked back at him with a stale look, not one attempting to lack emotion, but a look which gave a dead feeling as if he had no interest at all. It read nothing other, except the fact that he might be slightly bored. The Jounin stepped between the two and eyed each genin. ”May the final match between Shihouin and Henshu…BEGIN!!” In a flurry of movement, the Jounin used Shunshin and disappeared from the training field leaving a small wisp of dust lingering low in the wind. As soon as Shi had heard begin, he removed his right hand from his pocket and threw three kunai at his opponent. They whistled through the air, the one with a thicker handle was aimed for his chest directly and the other two were aimed at either side. He simultaneously moved three meters back in a quick leap to cover behind one of the smaller trees. Now at least more than six meters away from his opponent; his left hand would hold three shuriken while his right hand would reach for a kunai in his nin-pocket to guard himself. He kept his black eyes trained on his opponent’s movements and began to analyze them while he prepared his next move.

| Henshu groaned and put his hand on one of his Katana's as the proctor waved his hand to begin. He wasnt good with tricky opponents, or ones that decided to test. From the black hair and black eyes of his opponent, Henshu realized that this fight would be one exactly like what he hated. An uchiha... Henshu sighed and scoffed. If he was anything like the other Uchiha's history spoke of with his personality, then this wouldnt be as bad as Henshu thought. Normal protocol for sword users dictacted that one always had a hand on the hilt at all times during a tournament, and it was thanks to such training that Henshu had enough time to react to the near point blank attack that was shot at him next. With instinctive reaction, Henshu drew his sword from the sheathe and struck the kunai out of the air. The sheer reverberation nearly numbed his hand, and with the screech of metal scraping against metal, he winced and resheathed the Katana, thanking whatever higher power was up there that his Katana was not damaged. Concentrating slightly, Henshu exhaled slowly, his breath a mist in the warm air. A side effect of his body and the experiment, allowed him the ability to use this unique trick. Inhaling again, Henshu turned towards his opponent and exhaled sharply, shooting sharp bits of ice at the opposing Genin. Jumping back immediately after doing so, Henshu uncapped the gourd that was strapped to the small of his back and let the water gush out of the back. Henshu sighed. There was maybe a small ponds worth of water in the gourd at the moment, enough for maybe 3 or 4 C-Ranks. Henshu shrugged and rested his hand on his hilt. That was really the only Hyouton he could preform like that, but it might have been enough. Grumbling as he felt the water chill drastically as the second part of his bodies effect drained another small amount of chakra from his body, Henshu shrugged and let the water keep filling the area around him. Luckily he had released his gourd in a dip in the land, shaped strangely like a small pond. This atleast would keep the water in one place. ((OOC: Sorry bout the late post. I also listed the jutsu, items, and the SC that relates to what happened)) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jutsu:- Spoiler:
Name: Speed Sword Draw Level 1 Rank: D-Rank users: Shihai Tatsuna Type: Kenjutsu Elemental Affinity: N/A Description: The user will start by sheathing their sword and then tilting the sword down slightly while still in the sheath. They will then wait for the opponnent to strike. When the pponent does strike, the user will unsheath their sword with all their force and with using gravity to help them, and slash outwards at the opponents upper legs just above the knees for a crippling blow.
Name of Jutsu: Hyouton: Supurinta- Se [Ice Release: Splinter Torrent] Rank: D Users: Shihai Tatsuma Type of Jutsu:: Ninjutsu Element Affinity: Hyouton Description: The user performs a few handseals, causing Hyouton chakra to accumulate in their mouth. Right afterward, the user can exhale and shoot a torrent of small ice shards. Though harmless, the attack can be very frustrating from the successive stinging.
Item used: GourdSpecial Characteristic- Spoiler:
Name:Elemental Advanced Rank: N/A Type:Skill Description: The character is highly attuned with their element, due to the genetic experimentation that was conducted on them. In Henshu’s case, he is highly attuned with the ice element, which directly affects his body. His body temperature has been lowered to a chilly 76 degrees Fahrenheit, and he is still able to function normally, just as if his body was at normal temperature. He is also able to pull moisture from the surrounding air and create ice, much like the Niidaime did with water. This ability can be used by Henshu as a Genin, mostly because it is a passive ability, and also because if he couldn’t, he would be unable to utilize any ice jutsu.
At the mere cost of a D-Ranked amount of chakra, Henshu’s body also disperses that chakra in the area around him, dropping his temperature of the area to just below freezing.
Note: The formation of Ice jutsu without a water source is rank equivalent. D-Rank can create D-Rank ice jutsu without a water source, C-Rank can do C, etc
Open: Not available due to the unique effects and requirements by which it was brought into existance.

| This battle began to progress into a series of unfortunate events that were not going Shihouin’s way. From the moment his opponent deflected his attack, he began to put information together on his skills and how he used them against certain situations. That gourd, the sword, everything about him was entering his mind at a high rate. Usually Shihouin would never wait to make a move on his opponent at all, but this time all he could do was watch. There seemed to be no way for him to approach his opponent safely, because of what he was doing. His opponent inhaled quickly and shot sharp bits of ice at him directly from his mouth. Another bloodline user. This one had an elemental one and now Shihouin knew that using fire jutsu wouldn’t be useful unless he could get around his opponent’s elemental advantage. Shit.
Since he had been taking cover and preparing his next move behind the cover of a tree, dealing with the ice was easy. He ducked a bit lower as some of the ice hit the spot where his head would have been and simultaneously threw a couple of shuriken to deflect the pieces that might cause some danger. He quickly moved back about five meters to a thicker tree while throwing two kunai from his hand at his opponent who was now moving backwards. They were both aimed for his chest and abs, with one holding something behind it. He was now at least a good eleven meters away from his enemy with plenty room to spare. He wondered how his opponent would react to his attack, and better yet how could he use it to his advantage.

| Henshu sighed slightly as his opponent sent another two Kunai at him. There had to be more to this Uchiha that just Kunai tricks. Since the Kunai were a good distance away from him, and he had plenty of water surrounding him, despite it being mostly slush by now, Henshu opted to perform a few handseals before the Kunai got too close. Gathering water in his mouth, partially due tot he ice water in the small divit he was standing in, Henshu spat the water out at a high velocity, not fast enough to really harm someone, but easily enough to deflect the Kunai off their current trajectory. It was as the water projectile was nearing the Kunai that Henshu noticed one of the Kunai had something trailing it. His eyes widened slightly and he swore. It was too bright out to make any real guess at what it was, especially now that he had large blob of water flying at the Kunai. Sighing again, he decied to err on the side of caution, and jumped backwards out of the Kunai's trajectory slightly. Even if it was a tag, the water projectile would cause the Kunai to deflect either downwards or to the side. Grabbing a Kunai from his own pouch, Henshu wrapped an exploding tag on it and threw it up in the air, over his opponents height. With luck, the water blob hid the action from his opponent, and the tag was wrapped around the Kunai tight enough that it couldnt be seen till it was very close to his opponent. With any luck, something that Henshu lacked half the time, his opponent would disregard the errant Kunai and let it pass over his head, allowing Henshu toexplode it within the correct vicinity. If not, well, the Kunais trjectory wasnt that far off that it would be extremely unaccesible. A random explosion later on in the game wouldnt be a bad option. - Spoiler:
Name of Jutsu: Taihoudan - Large Projectile Rank: D Users: Shihai Tatsuna Type of Jutsu:: Ninjutsu Element Affinity: Suiton Description: Suiton • Taihoudan is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Elements. Tatsuna will generate water in his mouth and spit it as a stream at his target. The stream is about as powerful as getting hit with a pressurized hose (Less powerful than a fire hose, more powerful compared to a garden hose.)

| Shihouin didn’t know what to think of his opponent. He didn’t feel weak, he didn’t feel that he was lacking any power at all, but he had to admit that he had lost the advantage in this battle. When he was with Sanzen training, she had out-maneuvered him and surrounded him with six dogs and she used her clones to attack him. The only way he got out of that fight was by giving up. He was out numbered and outclassed at the same time, in a battlefield situation he would have died. It was her message though that got to him the most. As long as he was alive he had the ability to fight. His opponent had the ability to give himself the elemental advantage ten meters around him and had water from a gourd which he could use to douse his flames. Yet he was still alive.
Right after he had thrown the kunai, Shihouin never hesitated to prepare his next move. Using the kunai as attention cover, he could operate under complete secrecy while his opponent was dealing with the tools. When the water projectile met the kunai, it exploded into a black cloud smoke. Using that cover, Shihouin checked his opponent with his one tomoe, catching his arm throw a tool oddly in the sky. Being with Sanzen had made him semi-paranoid, so instead of leaving it alone he decided to deal with it with his current attack. As soon as he had seen his opponent move his arm in a throwing motion, he looked up and caught sight of the kunai above him, simultaneously throwing a giant windmill shuriken towards his opponent through the haze of the black smoke while throwing a regular shuriken towards the kunai. The shuriken’s accuracy and power would assure that the kunai would go off path to the left where it would be useless. Keeping both of his hands ready, he continued to prepare his move set while crouching and moving slowly forward, under the cover of the trees.

| Hearing the clang of metal colliding in the air, Henshu sighed and reached in his back pocket for anther kunai. It was then he heard a faint whirling action, mostly due to something traveling through the fading water blob. His eyes wide as a windmill shuriken burst through the water and headed straight for him, Henshu leaned backwards, trying not to fall in the water below him. That didnt happen. The windmill shuriken caught his stomach and chest as it spun overhead, coming to a halt at the base of his neck as the clothes tangled the windmill shuriken and prevented it from going any farther. This was one of the times Henshu lost his cool, swearing as he stood back up. This Uchiha was beyond annoying now. Swearing again as he untangled the windmill shuriken while keeping his eye out for the next attack, a howl in the nearby distance caused the swearing to be cut off instantly. Henshus eyes widened and he almost dropped the windmill shurkien. Shimo. How in the bloody hell did he forget about his companion? This would make the battle easier, hopefully. Letting out a whistle to call Shimo over, Henshu threw the gourd towards the treeline where is opponent was hiding. The specifics were unknown, but the general area was good enough. Forming a few handseals, Henshu concentrated on the water sloshing out of the gourd and let it go. It felt like a poof, like a balloon was let out of air as he felt the chakra leave his body. Around the treeline, in about a 10 meter distance a wall of glistening bubbles formed, hiding Henshu from site, at least from that general area as he ran forward and lobbed 4 kunai over the wall and into the trees, each one with an exploding tag attached to it. The tags were of a generic brand, just a different kind. They had a built in timer, one that once activated would allow approximately 15 seconds before they exploded. Crouching behind the wall, Henshu looked down at the cut down his torso and sighed. Reaching behind him and petting Shimo behind the ear for a moment, he handed to wolf the shuriken so that he could get a sent off of it, and with a whisper of a bark, Shimo set off around the other side of the bubble wall, looking for his opponent. Sliding to the side of the wall opposite of where Shimo went, Henshu considered his next options. Forming a quick couple more handseals, Henshu placed his hands on the ground and released the chakra, icing the grass subtely to almost a floor of pure ice. However, due to the still spewing gourd, which was almost out of water now, and the bubble wall, the iced grass just looked extremely wet, making it very, very difficult to tell if there was anything else wrong with it. Moving back behind the wall, Henshu readied his Katana and also began sealing again. Given the exploding tags and Shimo, Henshu was decently certain that his opponent would come out shortly. Due to that assumption, Henshu finished the seals and released the jutsu, allowing its slow start to take place while he waited. Due to the amount of chakra needed, Henshu could actually control this jutsu to not sprout its spikes until the very last moment, which was when his opponent would appear. Of course, he could obviously be mistaken and miss his opponent completely, but with Shimo in the woods now, it seemed unlikely. This technique was Henshu's baby, the Ice Grove. - Spoiler:
Name of Jutsu: Suiton: Suihou [Water Release: Bubble] Rank: D Users: Shihai Tatsuna Type of Jutsu:: Ninjutsu Element Affinity: Suiton Description: By placing one hand on a source of water and injecting chakra into it, the user of this technique forces bubbles to form (just like a bubble bath) and form around the area of the user in order to block visibility. The height and width of this bubbly mess depends on how much chakra the user puts into the jutsu with a greater amount of chakra creating a larger area of effect. In addition, the dampness of the bubbles soaks into clothing for anyone who ventures into the area of effect and therefore may lead to damp clothing which limits maneuverability.
Name of Jutsu: Hyouton: Hyoushou no Sousaku [Ice Release: Ice Floor Creation] Rank: D Users: Shihai Tatsuna Type of Jutsu:: Ninjutsu Element Affinity: Hyouton Description: The user performs a few handseals, causing a small strip of ground to become icy and slick. This is often used to counter a charging enemy by causing the ground beneath them to become slippery and cause them to fall.
Name of Jutsu: Hyouton: Ice Grove Rank: C Users: Shihai Tatsuna Type of Jutsu:: Ninjutsu Element Affinity: Hyouton Description: Tatsuna forms multiple hand seals, before closing his eyes for a split second and focusing his chakra. When he reopens them, they glow slightly as the technique takes place. Approximately up to 10 meters in front of Tatsuna, the ground frosts over in a cone shape. ( \ . / where the '.' is Tatsuna's location, the '\/' symbolizes the shape of the technique). As the ground frosts over, ice spikes form from the ground, shooting upwards about 8 feet in the air. The ice itself is extremely cold, causing frost bite if it manages to hit the opponent. Once created, the small grove of ice will remain on the battle field, providing obstacles for the opponent to manuveur through, but losing its extreme chill. After 2 posts the grove will begin to melt away and disappear.

| Shihouin didn’t plan on preparing every attack with a surprise. IN fact the attack that he had just launched at his opponent was a surprise; it was obvious that he didn’t have that giant shuriken before, so it must have come from somewhere. It was a simple trick, a trick that anyone could use, but which Shihouin found familiar and used well. Even though he had lost a bunch of tools for it, around a pouches worth, it was very well worth it. With his in mind, his trick went from small to something that might cause the opponent some trouble. As soon as the shuriken headed towards his position, several things happened. The shuriken would quickly change into a bunch of smaller shuriken in the form of one and then explode. The trap was littered with at least 5 special tags, all which would detonate the moment the henge completed. Since the opponent had barely missed the shuriken, the moment it got tangled up in his clothing -the best place to land this attack- the entire 10 explosive notes would blow him sky high. Under the smoke, another shuriken would be moving to his position. It would be aimed for his body, and with Shihouin controlling it with a wire attached, he wouldn’t allow it to miss and hit the gourd. The hidden shuriken wouldn’t get caught in his body, but would easily dig itself into his flesh and cause a fatal wound if his opponent didn’t make the right move. Shihouin didn’t see how he could, the attack had been successful since the opponent failed to properly circumvent the technique. During all of his movement, Shihouin was still preparing his next move and stopped moving. He was hiding under a thicker tree for better cover, out of the line of sight of his opponent. He would quickly turn his Sharingan on to one tomoe and keep it there. His hands were busy and he was ready to make the final move, depending on how his opponent moved. - Spoiler:

Unlike the regular henge which uses a noise and a puff of smoke -making it obvious- the silent henge can do the same thing without the noise. This is useful when the opponent isn't paying close attention to the users hands or the user. Without the appearance of smoke, it's harder to tell if the user actually did something. It's the same technique, without the noise. Name of Jutsu: Sharingan Activate/Deactivate Rank: --- (User Rank based) C Users: Shihouin Type of Jutsu: Ninjutsu/Doujutsu? Element Affinity: Training Link: Description: Sharingan Activate/Deactivate is a technique Shihouin uses to turn his Sharingan on and off in the heat of battle with out holding a hand sign. This takes an extra bit of mental focus but is easy to do. If he wants to conserve chakra he can wait until the appropriate time to turn on his Sharingan without using his hands to focus. He can also turn it off just as quickly. When he gets higher with the Sharingan, this technique will also control what tomoe he is using. After hurling his giant shuriken, Shihouin can control their path and movements by using wires which run from the shuriken itself back to his arm. Because his opponent will think they are normal shuriken, they will be off guard about their ability to redirect themselves. Name of Weapon or Item: Special Tags Owner: Shihouin Location: Ninja Pouch/On Body Rank: C Description/Abilities: These special tags come in numbers of 5 per group. 1 special tag is essentially two tags put together to mimic one tag. It is near impossible to notice this since tags appear to be the same on front or back sides. In one "group" there are five of these tags, which really equals up to 10 tags per group. It's just like gluing two white sheets of paper together, they appear as one. Of course they have double the blast and power of one explosive note. In total he has 25 of these. History: Shihouin came up with this idea and has prepared these tags by sticking them together. The idea was very simple to come up with. -There are six special tags, so 12 explosive notes-
