Early Childhood Arc:
The crying of a small child can be heard however soon drowned out by the screaming of an elderly aged woman. A child had just passed from the woman as the screaming stopped. The small tempered cry of a newborn child was heard. This newborn child was born into a relatively decent family. A rare breed was this family. Users of a bloodline that hadn’t appeared since the mass killings of Kekkei Genkai in Kirigakure. The newborn wouldn’t be a difference to this breed.
As the child was handed back to the loving embrace of his mother it let out a small hiccup of air and giggled slightly. The mother was awestruck as she had just experienced her baby’s first laugh. She then smiled as she looked into her babies eyes. She muttered the child’s chosen name
”Kaji Koi Kanto.” Many people in the room looked at her oddly as the name struck many as odd. This was because of the meaning of the name and what each different name was associated with. Kaji being associated and meaning fire. Koi being associated and meaning love. Kanto being the clan’s last name and being associated with diamond. This child was literally named Fire Love Diamond.
The child's financial standings were alright however far from being wealthy. His father, being a chunnin of the Cloud village Ninja system, made just enough money to support a decent lifestyle. The child lived in a small apartment with his mother and slowly grew up as a normal child. His dark skin matching his fathers and mothers his red eyes a dominate color of the pupil with the entire eye a purple tint. As the years passed the kid was healthy and active and soon neared the age of Six.
At the age of six Kaji’s father found that he was old enough to finnally learn there secret. So on the night of the new moon Kaji’s father took him out to a small river that fell through the moutains makings it way down. His father turned to him his eyes glowing a slight yellow almost soon turning his head upwards towards the sky. He saw nothing and then he began his explanation.
- Quote :
- The man known as kaji’s father sat looking up into the darkness of nothingess. Catching the slight glimpses of light, that seeped through the clouds, that were known as the stars. The moon was gone and it was just like the same night his father had told him about his familys misfortune. He turned to his young son and through the impenetrable darkness He saw his son’s frightened misdeamanor since he had been scared of the dark for 4 years now.
The man let out a small sigh and knelt down to place his hand into the river. This late of night the water would usually be frozen solid but as the man placed his hand onto the water he felt nice soothing water. Soon the river burst into life slowly its tide moving again after being thawed. It let out a nice soothing tone as it moved. This was what the man wanted to talk to his son about. He moved his head and soon looked at his son. He still could not see much of his sons face and he assured himself that it was better that way. He turned his head back and looked into the darkness as he soon began to recall the story.
”Kaji, me and your mother, we are of a bloodline, or kekkei genkai family that was completely destroyed long ago. Well i shouldn’t say completely destroyed since i just said we were part of it. Our last name known as Kanto is not our actual name. We were known once before as the Suto-mu. We were a clan in the mist village once.
However as time passed and the mist slowly became paranoid we were targeted to be eliminated. The attack that night was like tonight, a new moon complete darkness people sleeping in there beds. It was swift and supposidly painless as they entered our small clan village. They proceeded to set each hut on fire and before most people knew the small village of the Suto-Mu was at war. As soon as the fires broke out many of the people were dead.
However the mist did not extensivly research the Suto-Mu enough and that was a wrong move to make. You see we Suto-mu have the ability to release and absorb heat making us immune to basic effects of fire and even freezing cold tempratures. This allowed few of us to escape however many of those who survived...”
The man then went silent as if something was caught in his throat as he let out a small sigh breathing slowly as he brought his hand up from the river it curled up slighty carrying water. He tipped the water into his mouth soon slurping at it relishing the coolness of it slide down his parched throat. At this time he had felt the side of his face and it hit him there was tears in his eyes. This story regrew his hate for the village known as the mist. However he was glad that it was so dark and that his son couldn’t see him in this state of weakness.
The man let out a sigh and realized he needed to finish this story before the end of the night. ”Those that survived either escaped the village however that was only my father and my mother. The others who had lost there loved one(s) decided that revenge would be the most suited course. However as i’ve told you before i’m sure haste creates waste and revenge is full of haste. So every man who went for revenge soon became wasted life that fell to the ground.
The reason why i told you this story was not to inform you about our past, nor was it to make you hate the mist village it was instead to mark the night in which your training as a warrior must begin.”
The days of sorrow:
Training: Age 6.5 - 12
After the night his father had told him the story of his past and of his abilites he was worked almost to death. His father from that day forth worked him hard body and mind almost so he wouldn’t be able to tack in the information he had been given. Kaji was brandished in a weighted down cloak and a pair of what he liked to call them claws. He was forced to practice every single day until the end of the night it seemed.
As years passed kaji got better and as he reached the age of 8 he entered the academy at his fathers approval. It wasn’t that big of a deal for Kaji as he had been trained in chakra control once before. He had most of the academy jutsu’s memorized but his work ethic in the academy was lacking. This lacking was because of his heavy nights that ranged almost to the time the sun came back up of his training sessions.
The academy took him the better of four years to complete due to this work ethic but he graduated with great ease never once truly lifting a finger in the academy. His time and body were spent with his nightly training sessions. His father had fallen to him now and had even admitted Kaji was now the better shinobi.
The decision
One day of kaji’s genin life he had to make a deciscion his father gave him. He could stay in kumogakure with no challenge for his abilites. Or he could join sunagakure since they had an old freind there. Kaji debated these decisions and soon came to the final conclusion that Sunagakure would be best.
On the day of kaji's transfer he made it without a hitch to Sunagakure. In this village full of sand Kaji realized that he may have bit off more than he could chew. His kekkei genkai was what he was currently circled around and in this barren desert with a lack of water it was harder for him to pull off many of his elemental ninjutsu. This caused him to slowly change how he was circled and soon he became able to survive in this harsh desert environment. Time passed in sunagakure and as Kaji adapted it soon became easier for even his ninjutsu to be performed. He was placed in a genin team slowly the team grew stronger and after there few missions it became evident that Kaji was dull with his life in Sunagakure. However Kaji's feelings toward the world as he turned 16 was already just about to change.
The start of corruption
- Quote :
- The sun shown down from the the infinite numbered spaces between the leaves of the trees that created a checkered pattern of pure light across the face of a dark skinned young man. The man was crouched in a bushel of tree leaves waiting for contact with his target. The mission that his squad was sent out for was an odd one. It wasn't one that made much sense for a genin team to be out on. However Kaji did not question his Kazekages orders since they were in a time of war. Kaji licked his lips with a sick anticipation as he mumbled to himself. Isn't it odd Takai, being placed on an ambush mission to take down a supply caravan of an allied nation. What is our Kage thinking to start even more war. To be honest it just doesn't add up. Kaji's other selves were in agreement with himself which was odd so there must have been something going on. However he soon dismissed this suspicion as he saw the target enter the attack range.
Kaji flipping back with his hands still holding the tree-branch slid back and flew down and straight forward towards the caravan. He pulled something out of his traditional white cloak as he brought it forward the escort ninja pulled out a kunai and readied it to block the supposed knife that was coming at him. As the two pieces of metal collided sparks from the friction flew and they were caught in a stalemate it seemed. However Kaji burst into a split smirk as he slid his finger over a button on the hilt of the knife and the blade shot out shattering the kunai and impaling the opposition ninja directly through the skull. The ninja spluttered out with blood flying landing on kaji's white cloak and then collapsed onto the ground. It seemed Kaji was stronger than he though as he was the first in his squad to eliminate a enemy.
As this sunk in Kaji had a sudden hemorrhage in his head and his hand curled over his left eye. Something odd was happening and soon something occurred as kaji fell to his knees in a bleary eyed pain all he could see was pure white. He collapsed forward and the world just fell into a pitch darkness with the world falling apart in blood around him.
When Kaji had come too he was in a bed with a bandage on his head. A searing headache was the least of his worries as he saw a man in a chair just outside of the lights dim reach. He made out a book in the mans hand so he could say he was at least literate. As Kaji forced himself up the man in the chair stirred as the book could be heard closing with a slight slam.
Kaji still couldn't see the man but he could feel the man thinking and for some reason he could almost make out what he believed to be the mans thoughts. Kaji's eyes then shot wide as he realized something. Where was his squad?
- Quote :
- "I see, so you are able to hear my thoughts. Not many can harness the ability to pick up of the brain-waves these techniques put out Also i'm still surprised that you being only genin could survive the mental hemorrhage that i inflicted." Kaji's eyes shot wide when he heard this and instinctively his hand shot to his pocket only to find out he didn't even have a pocket. He was in his underwear and this made him feel just naked all of his equipment was gone so if this man proved to be hostile he was completely screwed.
"Now, Now don't get so wrapped up in thinking i was going to hurt you. In my eyes you are what i need to finally achieve my wish. You in that entire squad of pathetic ninjas' you were the only one to survive the initial blast of my technique. That in my point of view gives you potential and now that you could even read my thoughts after just that one encounter with those techniques you are able to become even stronger than I in them. So i would never kill someone that could one day be a master in these abilities." The man stood up from the chair as he made his little ramble and made his way across the room opposite to kaji away from the bed. He stood at a door opening it he stuck his head in and he removed Kaji's missing clothes and tossed them onto the bed. He then returned to his chair without letting kaji give a to good look onto the man.
All kaji saw was a pale almost sickly looking man that looks as if he hadn't eaten or slept for what seemed to be decades. However as the clothes were thrown at him he stood out of the bed and realized something. He didn't have a single scratch on him for what appeared being kidnapped. The only wound he had actually gotten was an internal hemorrhage. It scared him more and more how this man could make him pass out with just a single ability. The process of kaji putting on his clothes was riddled with his jumbled thoughts of what did the man use. Kaji’s mind soon rested on the fact of some sort of Mentalized Ninjutsu.
As that thought crossed his mind he Man laughed so hard kaji thought he would die believing on what his physical capacity was. However the man soon came to a stop of laughing and just clapped. Kaji believed this was a sense of mocking him. However the man soon began to talk once more. ”You were half right on your thought of Mentalized ninjutsu. It is Mentalized but it could be considered its own type of jutsu. Now if you would quit suspecting me you would realize something. You were sent on that mission for a reason. I believed you had thought it was odd to be attacking an allied supply caravan. That's mostly because your own village abandoned you. If you go back to that village alive they would just kill you to cover themselves. They were after starting more war and using a genin squad gave them plenty of reason to attack if they knew you were dead. They even hired me to make sure you were all dead. However i just couldn’t kill such a appeasing potential. If you feel the need to kill me you will die. However if you want to be my apprentice you can one day get revenge. “
Kaji just let out a slight smile and he couldn’t help burst into laughing maniacally. ”Hahaha! Revenge? Why would i have a thirst for revenge? I only went to sunagakure for the influence of getting myself stronger. I see that your techniques allow powerful abilities...”
From that point on Kaji joined the man and became an apprentice to the man. He began his learning of what the man called Seishin. It was powerful mental abilities however the more they were used the more the person’s body was corrupted and became just like the old mans more and more it deteriorated. So Kaji was unable to use these techniques at long intervals or repeated uses. However years passed and kaji spent his time with his new master. It was a practical 3 years when kaji decided to leave making him about nineteen.
The production of the seal
The more kaji thought of seishin and its drawback the more he thought. He knew somewhat of a way to get around it his own clan had a fuuinjutsu branch in which he could probably trick his way into getting something to fix his problem from them. So this is what he did. He returned to Sunagakure in secret. No one was on the lookout for him since it was thought he was dead. He entered his clans complex and shocked many as he was alive. This gave Kaji a disadvantage. He explained the situation and the friends he still had in the complex to make the seal for him. They agreed and soon the research began and soon Kaji now utilized a seal to counter most of the negative effects However it was still a major risk for him to really use it to often.
Kaji after getting the seal was set for now and he realized something. There were witness’s of his existence and so he needed to get rid of them or he would be hunted by his former village for being a deserter. So he did something rash and harsh he made a decision to eliminate his entire clan in each of the village. If he did this not only would he be safe but he would also be a rare product. So he began his duty and killed his clan not even a second thought left behind. He then just became a wanderer just doing what he felt his mind slowly corrupting more and more as he killed just for the fun of it and changing his name just to show he no longer cared about his past.
