The Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai or ANBU for short are the dark side of the village. Whilst everyone else sees the village at peace, the ANBU are doing their duty defending the village in multiple ways. These Shinoi are hand picked by the Hokage for their skills and individual capabilities.Age, gender, background, or previous rank bear no weight in ANBU only skill .They protect the village from exceptional threats, conduct high-risk missions into enemy territory, and deal with extremely strong ninja. They are also responsible for carrying out assassinations, tracking, surveillance, and missions requiring specially trained ninja. There are several squads within the ANBU organization, each designed to serve the village to it's maximum potential.
Requirements to apply:
- Be atleast B in rank.
- Have completed at least one A rank or higher mission, 3 B rank and 5 C rank.
Medical Division
"Poisons and medicine are oftentimes the same substance given with different intents."
The first division of ANBU is the Medical Division. After completing the basic ANBU training, those who specialize in the medical area of Ninjutsu are often sent here. These are advanced ninja who are able to carefully focus and manipulate their chakra to exact points, thus enabling them with various medicinal healing techniques. These nin are gifted with amazing chakra control, and are necessary when it comes to a mission. While the medical arts often have little offensive use, it is useful to have a medic on missions to heal wounds and for their supply of deadly poison.
Requirements to apply:
- Be atleast B in rank.
- Must have Medical Ninjutsu as a specialty .
- Must have completed the basic ANBU training.
Law Enforcement Division
“Order is life. Without order, the world would fall to chaos”
This is the division ANBU that deal with roles such as guarding important figures, ensuring major events in the village to run smoothly, and serving as the top quality protectors of the village.They deal with general peace keeping within the village and are often the first on the scene during attacks. They have access to detailed knowledge of village layouts, a number of powerful defensive jutsu, and seals to enhance weaponry. They also work in gathering information within the village and carrying out investigations.

Hunter Ninja
"Like an animal, those who flee from duty, need to be put down."
This division of ANBU are givengiven the specific duty of hunting down missing-nin. They completely dispose of the body by using various methods. This is done in order to make sure the village secrets which a ninja's body holds -- such as chakra types, herbs eaten, ninjutsu, and kekkei genkai -- will not be revealed to outsiders. They are taught about how the human body works and how to kill people easily. They work with sabotage, and information gathering, have access to stealth jutsu, assassination jutsu, , and up to date bingo books. They generally perform missions outside of village.

- Be atleast B in rank.
- Must have completed the basic ANBU training.
- Must have completed at least 2 C rank or higher missions in the village
- Must have completed at least 2 B rank or higher missions outside of the village.
- Must have completed a rotation in the Law Enforcement and Medical Division after training
ANBU: ROOT
"We stop the threat, before it becomes a threat."
Those of the ANBU roots are the very best at what they do. Handpicked by the Hokage, they preform the very darkest deeds out of common knowledge for the good of the village. They specialize in torture and interrogation and assassination and have access to the best equipment and jutsu.
