 |  The Hidden Leaf Village is one of the most powerful ninja villages in the world. The village was founded approximately 65 years before the start of the series when several ninja clans came together. These included the Senju Clan of the Forest, which included the brothers who would become First and Second Hokage and the Uchiha Clan under Uchiha Madara. In the beginning the gathered group was essentially a ninja unit; with the First's death his younger brother established the village infrastructure. By the end of the first Ninja World War, Konoha had grown and its citizenship diversified.

sly448  | |  The 44th Training Ground, also known as the Forest of Death, was the stage for the second part of the Konoha Chūnin exams, proctored by Anko Mitarashi. Its primary function served as a testing ground for the survival and fighting skills of Genin trying to become a Chūnin. It was a very dangerous place, filled with hordes of flora and fauna; often gigantic, poisonous — or even more likely, both — hence its name.

Nasamea | |  The Valley of the End is on the border of the Land of Fire and the Land of Sound. It was somehow created following the foundation of Konoha, when Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha fought for control of the village. The Nine-Tailed Demon Fox was present for part of the battle under Madara's control. Hashirama was victorious, and Madara was believed to have died. In memory of their battle, two giant statues were built on opposite sides of the waterfall, Madara on the left (the Land of Sound side) and Hashirama on the right (the Land of Fire's side).
