Riverside Trouble [Mission, Nasa] Empty
PostSubject: Riverside Trouble [Mission, Nasa]   Riverside Trouble [Mission, Nasa] I_icon_minitimeSat Dec 04, 2010 2:44 pm

So like any other day, sitting around and doing nothing was completely boring, especially as a shinobi who had chores to keep up with his village. After going on the A Rank with Sendo, tried wasn’t enough to describe it. Chakra exhaustion was something that he hadn’t experienced like this since he had fought Nasa and dumped an A Rank amount of chakra for his first time trying to use a genjutsu on her. The sort of feeling was unbearable, and for the next few days Shihouin sat cradled in his bathroom next to the toilet vomiting like a pathetic drunk. Reduced to boxer shorts and sweat dripping profusely down his body, the effect that loosing too much chakra had on him began to sink in. He couldn’t control when or how it came up, and combined with fatigue and not being able to eat anything he would simply be forced to wait it out. It was like some sort of cruel punishment his body played on him.

Luckily, the spell had ended quickly this time, just a maximum of two days he spent keeled over the toilet had passed with some sleep as he woke up snug against the rim of the toilet seat with slobber dripping into the bowl. At least he was the only one in his apartment that had been using it. Feeling better than before, he discarded the remainder of his clothes and hit the shower in a timely fashion, washing off the stink from his body, the crusted layers of dirt and salt that had dried to his skin. After the shower went well, he made an extra effort for his mouth, brushing his teeth several times over with a tooth paste that helped heal the damage stomach acid made when it found its way into the mouth. Finishing the normal morning routine he clothed himself, flak jacket, nin boots and three nin pockets, all set in their proper places. Hopefully today would be an easy day.

Since there wasn’t too much traffic a brisk walk towards the village gates was in order, Shihouin quickly made his way towards the village gates. So soon after coming back home he would be out on a mission once again with Nasa preferably if she was up. Just like last time the decision to meet at the gates had been decided, and the strange little tabby cat that she had seen before would deliver the message. Since this mission wasn’t too particularly difficult, he didn’t need the extra provisions or anything, just the normal supplies they all carried. He passed through village security with relative ease, being it 8 in the morning, no other ninja seemed to be active at this time and the guards were able to check everything with ease. He would decide to wait for her outside of the village gates so they could get things started. The River Country wasn’t that far away, a day’s travel would put them there instantly. Idlying waiting for her, Shihouin played around with some of his tools, attaching some to wire and some with explosive notes, just a few extra precautions.

PostSubject: Re: Riverside Trouble [Mission, Nasa]   Riverside Trouble [Mission, Nasa] I_icon_minitimeSat Dec 04, 2010 3:56 pm

The world hummed and bustled around Nasamea's dark apartment. No sunlight poured in through the partial dusty windows to bright the woman's day as she lie peacefully in her bed. She had stayed awake all night again to fill her appetite. Unlucky for her though there wasn't many civilians to pick off aside from the occasional stupid drunk or whore working on overtime. She was in luck to have ran across an innocent woman heading home from work.

Nasamea had spotted her heading the opposite way on the sidewalk; her gray and black jacket nearly blending into the stone cold buildings which surrounded them. Nasamea had learned one thing when she ventured out of the village; this place could be considered the Land of the Damned. No vibrant colors, no festivals, nothing but the usual red store ads, metal, and concrete. It was rather boring in this place and each human appeared to have pale skin and dark sunken eyes from their labor. The ninja seemed to be their only hope.

The moment Nasamea had grown near the woman she began to take higher interest in her. She held a black umbrella carefully in her hand to protect her from the very light rainfall; her brown wavy hair lacking any frizz despite the partial humidity. Her eyes were chocolate brown while her face held an essence of warmth compared to her lightly tanned skin. In her hand had been a grocery bag filled with fruits and what appeared to be bread; a sign of decent health. Even her form held its tactical curves to back up this claim. Nasamea had no doubt in her mind that she would be a decent victim and was quick to turn her thoughts in action. She had passed the woman before pivoting herself around, grabbing the woman from behind, and throwing her into the alley. It was almost like some sort of rape scene but Nasamea wasn't doing this for pleasure or enjoyment of any kind. She was merely trying to get a bite to eat without being empty. The bag slid from the woman's grip one way and he umbrella the other. Not a cry was heard as Nasamea made quick action to leap beside her and knock her out with a point of her neck; temporarily silencing her as she carried out her plans. A single pear rolled from this white grocery bag, its green form stopping inside a forming puddle beside a dumpster as Nasamea feasted. She wouldn't kill the woman, no, this wasn't something she intended to do. She would merely steal a quart, drag the woman beneath the cover of a nearby building, and take off. Good thing the rain provided some cover.

When her eyes had finally opened, her black pupils narrowed partially to the thin light emitted from an outside street lamp. Dark shadows already began to dance as the rain continued to fall down all around them. Nasamea listened for any signs of visitors first before sitting up. Her feet touched the light carpet and once more her heart sunk a bit. This was one of the first times she had actually lived on her own. In a way her presence with her foster family seemed limited, mimicking her being alone, but they would always return at night. She could no longer hear their even breaths or her foster father's snore in the morning to signal that someone was in the house and everyone seemed all right. She wasn't necessarily depressed though, even if she felt a bit down still, she just had not adjusted yet.

From there the daily morning rituals took place as Nasamea showered, got dressed in her ninja attire, loaded herself with her weapons, and prepared to exit the apartment to head off to the mission provider. She needed something to get her thoughts away from this lonesomeness, from the bombarding memories of Shihouin, and even now the added on disturbance Mitsu had brought her to her emotions. He tended to leave her very uncertain merely because she wasn't sure how much more her emotions could take. Truth was she was ready to let it all go and for the need of labor to truly set in. No friends, all work; that was what she would turn into much like Shihouin had done. It seemed to suit him, why not her? To bad for her the thoughts of blocking all else were short lived when she had opened her door to spot a tabby.

She gazed down upon it with the same empty eyes she had woke up with. She had seen the kitty before and knew very well whom it was from. Removing the note from its neck and reading its contents turned her attention then to the clock; 8:22am. So she was a bit late. The cat seemed to be eying her from the start and was probably trying to say "get the hell going before he leaves you". With a sigh, this was what she would do. With her black cloak already on to block her from the sky showers, she stepped out, shut and locked the door behind her, then set off towards the gates.

All around the tiny rain drops churned within the passing puddles. It were almost as though her theory of Konoha came to life due to these small bodies of water appearing as though they were boiling. Even the area around continued to hold its partial warmth despite it being Autumn; typical Konoha. It were as if a subterranean fire had become alight and was forcing its way out; an odd vision to imagine. Meanwhile the crystals continue to tap the sidewalk as they added on a bit of force.

Nasamea was three minutes from the gates, her form soon leaping from a rooftop to the pavement as she then proceeded to walk. Already she could see Shihouin in her sights beneath her dark hood.

Waiting was trying for him; it tried his patience a lot and he didn’t like waiting on important things. Regardless, as much as his patience was trying him he had to wait for a comrade to show up. Hopefully, Nasa would be there within the next twenty or so minutes, and then they could leave. The rain over head wasn’t making anything better either, but it would only be a couple minutes before the sky broke open and split the rain. As much as he was thinking, he had forgotten about the weather and forgot to bring a rain coat. It was no matter though, even as academy students all shinobi were trained to deal with weather conditions which got better as their experience continued on.

On the other side of the gate Shihouin moved curtly to a position very close to the village border, hugged up underneath the dry side of the check point, out of harm’s way of the rain. He continued to still play around with his kunai and shuriken, attaching explosive tags in wire to several of them, at least ten or more. He found an interesting way to fold the explosive tags which fit them for shuriken. Usually, depending on the force of an explosive note and its strength, attaching it to a kunai instantly turned it into a frag. The same situation could be applied to a shuriken. Shihouin took the explosive note and folded it so that it could still be operable, but in a way that it fit snugly with in the hole of the shuriken. When thrown, it’s visual appearance would be as normal as any other shuirken, but at close range it could explode. A useful idea put into motion to pass the time.

Soon, Nasamea would arrive. Shihouin began to pack up all of the tools he had re-done, placing them in areas on his body, in his pockets, thigh pockets, and vest and in his normal ninja pocket. Once everything was set, he ran a firm hand down the length of his body, smoothing out the bumps and raises in his clothes so that they would look smooth, like nothing was ever there. Shihouin sighed quickly and quietly, waiting for Nasamea to arrive.

She came to him in a shadow form, her definable curves an easy give away to those whom are familiar with her. She removed her hood once she was near, revealing to him her mellow amber hues and a rather peculiar scar etched across the side of her face. It started near the corner of her eye and traced back, stopping just before her hair line. One noticeable change in appearance, aside from this scar and her dull expression, was even her hair had now taken on a new shade of color. It was dyed black and wrapped back into a low lying ponytail which fell to her shoulders. She had cut it and she had changed it color. Little did any know, the color was only temporary unless Nasamea grew attached to it. For the time being though she would hold onto this shade through the duration of their mission and a few days to follow.

"Long time no see," she said smoothly, her tone hiding any hints of perceivable emotion like her eyes, "when are we leaving."

It was apparent that she wasn't interested in much small talk unless it incorporated plans regarding the mission; or matters of business to be specific. She didn't usually mind having small talk with people but the whole point of her avoiding him was to mostly forget him. He had ditched her and she was crushed. Now she needed to find something to steal her time, attention, and mostly thoughts to ever have a chance of blocking it out. If she had done it twice in Takigakure she could do it again on her opinion. Besides, she had a feeling he would probably want to get going as well. Time was money for the village and points for the Shinobi and she had to admit, she enjoyed racking them up.

Where the hell did she get that scar from? Scanning memories like a computer was useless, in all of the days he had spent with her; Shihouin couldn’t remember any incident that they shared where she ended up getting scarred. A shame too, it definitely took away from the cute, girly beauty she always had about her. It made her look more rugged than anything, more so like a beautiful woman who had been tortured, taking away the finesse of beauty and replacing it with a more dangerous type. Of course Shihouin didn’t like it, and with their already rickety relationship, he decided not to stay anything about it. Just keep his opinion to himself. The last thing he wanted was her hating him for something so small.

As she looked at him, he looked back at her, staring into her body with eyes that wandered up and down as if he were sizing her up. “Yeah it’s been a long time, a very long time.” Shihouin smiled and turned forward. “We’re leaving now, so keep up. I’d like to get this done as quickly as possible so we can return to the village.” Shihouin, without any warning or notice took to the trees nothing that she would soon followhim. While under the cover of the thick foliage of the dense wilderness of Konoha, he began to move in a general direction, south west towards the river country. While both of them traveled quickly through the forest, he explained the game plan he had set in his mind.

“We’ll move until we get into River Country territory, stop there and set up camp in the trees and take a rest. Then we’ll move towards the River Country and complete the mission. The squad they had will more than likely be a regular old four man cell, so we can expect about three jounin around and under our level. Summoning’s are going to be important in this mission, so you should summon them now. Once we rest, we’ll be at a full chakra supply so we won’t have to worry about wasting chakra during or before battle. Go for B Ranks. Since it’s been a while, tell me your elements, specialties and how you rank up when it comes to stamina, speed, strength, and dexterity in order from strongest to weakest.” Shihouin waited for her to reply as they pushed through the wet forest.

PostSubject: Re: Riverside Trouble [Mission, Nasa]   Riverside Trouble [Mission, Nasa] I_icon_minitimeSat Dec 04, 2010 6:04 pm

A smile? Why was he smiling? One moment he seems to want nothing to do with her and the next hes sizing her up, causing her at ease mood to very lightly begin to boil. It irked her but she didn't let it get the best of her. Doing so would cast her tumbling back into turmoil again and right now wasn't the time for that. The sooner they finished this mission the sooner she could return to her apartment and distract herself with chores. The window panes had been collecting some dust lately. She felt typical for turning to cleaning as a ways of taking out her emotions though. Usually when it doing so it sometimes made her think more too, opposite of her purpose for even starting to in the first place.

"I think I can keep up just fine" she said, keeping her even tone with casting even a single hint of agitation towards him. She felt rather good at this. Thing was Shi knew her well enough to probably pick up on this sudden change of response. This might be more difficult than she thought.

The two began their venture into the wilderness with the sun just barely beginning to come out. The crystal morsels began to diminish as the large clouds starting to take on an essence of white. The suns rays were beginning to illuminate them; a sign the rain would end soon and the sun would prevail once more. Maybe the trips dark depressing tone would vanquish along with that but in the time being her opinion of Konoha would still be the Land of the Damned.

"Katon and Doton elements, no jutsu with Doton considering my teacher is MIA," she began after his long speech, "Ninjutsu and Taijutsu as specs and I am pretty well rounded when it comes to skills but the order is as followed: speed first, strength a bit behind, and then dexterity and stamina close behind that. The last two are evenly skilled in my perspective."

She then bit her thumb and quickly formed handseals. Not to long after the sound of little wings, barely noticeable by someone with even high senses, was heard all around them. Since he said to prepare early she summoned roughly 100 of the basic bastards to surround them; 50 being Konoha Woods variety, 30 being the regular Konoha type, 18 being Madagascars, and 2 being Giant Burrowing roaches. Why 100? Aside from the fact they were now protected from all around and all angles from threats these roaches were skilled in infiltration and swarming. The roaches could scatter up and down the river, wherever the decide to stop, and locate the thugs in not time. Through morse code, the information would then trail back to Nasamea and all together the roaches could surround the thugs as a decent means of distraction. Who in their right mind would suspect a hundred roaches surrounding them? It would at least give Shi, Shi's lions, or even Nasa enough time to move in for an assault while the other take care of he damn. Considering Shihouin had earth jutsu she began to see who would do what job. This was merely an assumption though.

"There's 100 roaches of two varieties around us. 50 of which can release a smell called Ameretto. Its very distinctive and if the roaches were to locate the thugs and release the smell, maybe your lions or even we could trace it to them. 30 are basic Konoha roaches without much ability and more provide coverage and numbers. 18 are Amegakure roaches which release a distinctive sound that could easily be traced; especially with their Amplified Sound technique. Then there's the 2 Giant Burrowing roaches. These two can burrow underground or just use the Mole Hiding technique. Consider it all more eyes to watch over us. I highly doubt anything could get past them now so we should be 100% safe when traveling."

Now it was she who was talking a lot and she didn't like it. She was aware that this information was most likely important and beneficial to this mission though. The more they knew about one another the better they could fight in battle by bouncing ideas off each other and possibly creating rather interesting combos. They have always been against one another but never fought as a team. Nasamea was actually growing interest with this, wondering how they worked together as a double duo. Of course she snuffed this out, not wishing to get any means of hope up in case Shihouin pulled a "im leaving" move again.

What a bother.

PostSubject: Re: Riverside Trouble [Mission, Nasa]   Riverside Trouble [Mission, Nasa] I_icon_minitimeSat Dec 04, 2010 6:48 pm

Finally the rain was loosening up. It seemed that brining those weather provisions was not necessary in any way. Shihouin placed his feet timely on each branch and continued to push forward at a rate of speed which would get them there on schedule. Following suit with his own orders, he placed his hands together and molded his chakra through the hand signs, pushing it forward. A cloud of gray white smoke erupted from his hands and a full grown lion protruded forth from it. Shihouin quickly put those same hands at his lips and whistled loudly. The lion continued to run in front of them, ahead of them keeping its pace. “Toshiro, Hiro will be here in just a bit, I want both of you guys to stay out of harm’s way and henge if you have to. Keep close to me though; I’ll need you the moment I call you.” Toshiro continued forward and from Nasa’s perspective would not acknowledge his master at all. However he could communicate without language at all, and confirmed his commands through such methods.

Turning his attention to Nasamea, Shihouin listened to what she was saying. So she had learned doton but no techniques? Eh. As much as he wanted to say it, he once again kept his mouth shut. She had turned into a lesser form of him, and it was teething on his tongue just to say it. They had the same elements and were only different when it came to taijutsu and genjutsu. She held no candle towards him and in his opinion his Katon was obviously better than hers being an Uchiha. But, at least with this much he would know how she worked better. “All right then, it’s good that we share the same elements. If I have some time, maybe you can learn a bit more from me.” He scoffed soon after, obviously pushing her to make her mad, but he knew she would probably throw her iron guard up and ignore it. She was strong like that.

Little did they know, time had been passing by quicker than they could image. Even though the sun was out, it was about time for it to set. Shihouin moved up a bit as she explained her skill with roaches, and how she had set them out so they could be watched around the clock. “All right then, that’s pretty good. I’d figured those roaches would be pretty useless, but having those eyes around us makes things a heck of a lot easier.” After moving about one more klick, they had reached the border of the River Country. Shihouin stopped and moved down towards the lower part of the canopy. “We can set up camp here. I planned on resting up here amongst the wide branches if but if you wanna do otherwise then we can.” Shihouin performed the summoning technique again, pressing his hands down and summoning two more of the younger lions, and a small lion cub. With some invisible commands, he sent them all out on patrol to make watch, while Toshiro would sleep closely to him. Lions were great pillows, soft and warm, and full of power and strength. With one of these things sleeping around him so close, being snuck up on was impossible.

“All right then, it’s good that we share the same elements. If I have some time, maybe you can learn a bit more from me.”

A scoff near escaped her but it appeared Shi himself had beat her to it. Yeah, right. Those days of them being teacher and student seemed over the moment they began to go on missions and began their new era of emotions. This was beginning to taunt Nasa now as memories of the past started to seep through the cracks of her guard. Her brow just barely furrowed now as her lips partially dove at the tips into a frown. There was her anger, its mark laid as it prepared to rise. She figured he must have been trying to get under her skin though, like he always tried to, but this time she wasn't interested in playing his little games. She brushed it off and picked up some pace as she allowed her facial expression to fade back to black and eyes to remain forward. The mastermind behind her emotions kept the beast at heart silent as it attempted to scratch its way through her inner being and out into the open. She had to admit to hating him. He betrayed her twice and made plenty of empty promises. She thought he was for real after the incident with his father and what not but a simple vacation seemed to change his soul rather than the typical "absence makes the heart grow fonder" saying. She wasn't sure whether she even believed that anymore but now wasn't the time to think of it.

Once more she was keeping her emotions at bay and sunk beneath the shallow waters. A flood was necessary to keep them under but in this situation Noah wasn't coming just yet and it would remain like this for quite some time. Their travels grew silent aside from their foot steps against the bark of branches and the very light flutter of wings around them. The roaches knew what to do, Nasamea had already clicked her teeth a few times to give them orders. Any means of sound was enough but today she had not been interested in mimicking their squeezes. They needed to get used to the various sounds anyway had she not been able to use the same one twice.

Dusk approached fast and soon the two of them were slowing their pace until they finally stopped. From studying the map when on the mission with Mitsu she figured they were near the River Country by then. Nasamea turned her attention to the sky at that point, her nose picking up on the smell of rain. It appeared they had more company from the sky as light pierced through the darkness and stretched across the dark clouds. It invitation was shortly answered as thunder faintly rumbled, causing some unease in Nasa. Ninja were trained for the elements but Nasamea knew the importance of a good sleep and the dangers of sleeping in the trees.

“We can set up camp here. I planned on resting up here amongst the wide branches if but if you wanna do otherwise then we can.”

She turned her stone gaze from the sky to Shi, a flash of lightning crossing it once more and casting shadows across their faces. She sighed and shrugged, "if you want to sleep in the trees with this lightning out go right ahead. It looks like we have thunderstorms ahead of us, that break in the rain was misleading. Saw the clouds coming along our way here, they were darker than those in Konoha. But anyway..."

She stopped rambling and grasped at a strap across her shoulders, pulling something off from beneath her cloak. She removed another from the other shoulder and soon a bag dropped at her side and laid against her leg. She reached under the black veil to reveal the long, thin, rectangular prism; a tent bag?

"If we find a secure location from the elements and possible tree falls...despite being in the middle of a forest... we can stay in here while the roaches watch. Lions may stay inside to but you're cleaning up any piles of fur.." Maybe Nasa's sas was there after all, her voice sounding somewhat taunting when she said that. Of course this minor comment struck out compared to the next throw, "and if we do stay in this no funny business, attempt of murder, or damage to the tent. One scratch and your buying me a new one."

She was serious about this too.
Rather than opening it straight away though she waited for what he had to say. If he agreed then they could set it up but if not then she would, unless he had a better idea.

Of course he wanted her to get mad, everything he was doing was throwing her that was, tempting her to see what she would do if she actually got mad. Hopefully she would keep her cool about the situation; Shihouin was only poking fun at her since there relationship as leaf ninja was in a sticky situation which was very fragile. He was only, pushing at it to say. Even though he didn’t too much care for what time they could spend together and what relationship they could mend, selfishness clung to him and recently he had been only worried about what he could do to better or help himself. Sort of like the adult male lion, who when the herd captured a meal would come over and eat first, despite his lack of helping hunt down the meal in anyway.

The sun dipped, almost as quickly as it had come. Thunderclouds and the sign of oncoming storms made staying in the tree tops a bad idea. Just by a small whiff of the air and feeling the direction and power of the wind, anyone could tell that a bad thunderstorm was on its way. Luckily Nasamea had made some provisions for this very situation, a tent which she had brought for the rain. Ha. Having her around had been a good thing this time around, if it wasn’t for her, Shihouin would probably sleep underground with some makeshift air holes for him to breath in. Sleeping in a tent made this much easier by far. But of course, being her emotional and angry self as she was to day, she always had to make some sort of deal or rules which he would have to abide by.

“Yeah whatever, and we’re in a good enough place here as is. Geez it’s like some people forget that we’re ninja. There’s a small area not too far from us, in fact it’s right behind you. Lightning won’t strike there and if it hits a tree I’m sure you would be awake before it fell on you. We’ll be fine, just hurry up and put it up.” Shihouin smirked and smiled, laughing a bit. “And if I wanted to kill you would be dead already, and if you don’t feel that safe then sleep with a kunai under your pillow.” Shihouin turned around and headed towards the clearing that was about 5 or so meters from their current position. They would quickly set camp and head off to sleep and start the mission tomorrow.

PostSubject: Re: Riverside Trouble [Mission, Nasa]   Riverside Trouble [Mission, Nasa] I_icon_minitimeSun Dec 05, 2010 12:28 am

At first she was rather reluctant to even follow him towards the clearing. Her stubborn side practically yelled at her to just set up tent here, ignoring his directions. This was merely her own pride kicking in as a means to retaliate his. She stood for a mere second, her eyes burning into his back as he walked away. Not wishing for him to see her emotion, considering he would probably take it as himself winning, Nasamea followed and reset her iron wall. Nothing could over shadow the boiling emotion within her soul. It felt like a fire was it and causing her blood to boil. She felt this energy streaming through her much like the chakra system and began to wonder how much longer it would lurk beneath the surface before she snapped. The surface she originally started with was growing rather quickly too.

It had not taken the two of them long to enter the clearing and set up tent. All along he way Nasamea was silent and avoided her gaze. Any time they did come close to making eye contact though he would see a highly agitated glare; an obvious sign of her cooped up emotions taking a toll. Even after the tent was set up and it was time for them to enter, she made sure that she would shove him aside to enter first. It seemed like child's play but it was her way of saying 'you may be leader but that doesn't mean I'm going to be your bitch'. She herself saw the leader within her. In animal terms she was not the lionness who did all the work and bitched tons of babies for the sake of the male, she was more so the female alpha wolf who, much like a male alpha, would also tell the followers what to do. She would also eat first alongside the male and at times would even get first dibs. In other terms she was a Kisaki and wouldn't simply allow herself to be pushed around so easily. She may not have had her pride shoved far up her ass but it didn't mean she had not had any.

Claiming the left side she threw her stuff along one of the walls and crawled in. She would fix her cloak into a blanket and the tent bag into a pillow considering she didn't have a sleeping bag. She highly doubted Shihouin would be so generous to hand over a lion. Then again she wasn't sure if she even wanted to be sleeping with one of his anyway. It wasn't her being stubborn but her just being cautious. Sure, they could have already attacked her, whatever.

She removed a divider from the tent bag and began to hook it along a bar, creating obvious sides in the tent. She glared at him before finishing off the final latch, "i forgot to tell you I didn't want to look at your sorry ass face."

She gave a smirkish grin, scoffed a bit, and latched the final hook. She would then lay down to sleep had he not had some sort of comeback. She wasn't sure if she even wanted to hear it. It was bad enough she had to smell him as it is. It was scent she once enjoyed but now it only pissed her off. Was she jealous? Angry? Hiding sadness? The second seemed to be the correct answer but she wasn't sure. As the rain began to fall down around them and sky opened up its layers in the form of thunder and lightning, a single whimper would be emitted before she slept.

Riverside Trouble [Mission, Nasa] Empty

He didn’t too much care about her opinion or what she had to think, the situation was in his control as commander of the mission and all the decisions were being made by him. No matter how she wanted to look at it, what angle she wanted to look at it or how she approached the situation,, he was in control and there was simply nothing that she could to do change that. What would make it worse on her end was that Shihouin was known for knowing when he had control, exploiting it to the point where he could easily anger anyone else on his team had he clicked into that type of mood set. Too add on a bit more, she knew that he would never be like this with anyone else except her. She was stuck in this situation with him until the mission was done.

The rolling thunder and lightning beat across the skies, illuminating them in a flash of lightning which streaked out across the black clouds. Wind pushed and tugged at the tent that they were in, but the sturdy material and correct set up that Nasa had employed. Inside, Shihouin was snugged up with his lions like some type of spoiled brat. Hiro slumped over like he was dead, and shihouin found comfort, nestled up in his mane, while Toshiro slept next to him. One of the cubs snuggled up on his chest, and the other two teenage lions slept at his feet and on the other side. Meanwhile, Nasamea would look cold, wet and pathetic, snuggled up with nothing next to her in the cold rain.

They would sleep through the night with ease, and to their advantage the thunderstorm would pass in the morning, leaving the blue skies clear and open for the mission they had ahead of them Nasa would more than likely be up before him, but Shihouin wouldn’t care, as long as she was ready to go. Eventually, all of the sleepy lions would wake up, including Shihouin, ready for the mission. He’d stick around for a few minutes and wait for Nasa to arrive, and then head off to the River Country.

OOC: Your next post should be in the river country, both of us arriving near the dam.
