| In the early hours of the morning, before the sun had even come up, Two men on horse back, came riding into the village. It was raining slightly as the two marched into the village. The seemed different, in many ways that a normal person would, or even a ninja. They wore suits of armor and carried many weapons with them. Also, their horses were rare, and also armored. The screamed in the village, as the arrived, trying to wake people up. They laughed as people grouped around them to see what was going on. The two pulled out weapons and began smiling and pointing them at people. "I am Hazan, a messenger of the great Celestial Empire. All of you barbarians will soon see the might of our numbers! You will all fall at the shear power of the Celestial Empire!" Hazen yelled out as many people around them arrived. | |

| As swift as he ran from Amegakure, he had reached to the gates of Konoha that morning. He was walking towards the gates, he looks at himself to make sure he didn't look suspicious at all. "Let's see. Black pants? Check. Black and white tank top?" he pulls up his long sleeve shirt and sees the tightly fitting on his body. He lowers it "Check" he says slashing the invisible sheet in his head "Long sleeve shirt? Check. Vest? Check. Hooded vest" he had his hood on and he could hear the rain softly pat on the top of his head "Check. Fake I.D" he unbuttons one of the vest pockets and pulls out a leather passport. He opened it and the name of the man who had Riku's likeness was "Matsuto, Kariki" a man who lived in Amegakure for the past twenty years and has come for trade. It would be funny looking at this and how prepared Riku was cause it would all be for nothing.
He reached the entrance gate and to his surprise, he did not see a man to check him. He looks into the corridor where the chuunin guards would be and all he saw were empty seats. Riku had a look of curosity and a revelation at that time. He realized then that there were very few people arriving and deporting outward. Was there something going on in Konoha? He would have to find out through his means. Investigating through sight would take awhile, even for his speed, he didn't have the time to move around and see where everyone was at.
"Aura echo" his voice said in a whisper. His eyes closed shut and invisibliy, his aura spread out into the village of Konoha. He could feel the lifeforce and auras of all of the people that were sleeping, dreaming, waking, eating, playing and all things human, he could see there shapes in there mind and the conversations one was having...
He heard in his head the voices that were brief conversations but held no meaning to Riku. They were faint whispers to him I heard Mimi was going over-
This rock band rocks my fucking soc-
Time to head out and see...hey, what's going on out there?
Riku's eyebrow lifted upward, his attention was toward the man who spoke out on the outside event around him. He couldn't get anymore from him, he was too far away but he could determine that location. He runs towards the large entrance gate and begins to run upward till he reached the top. His knees bend and he lowered himself before pushing out and up into the air where he soared towards the spot. He jumped from building to building and began to see people in little groups, some walking, others sprinting towards this part of village where the people were curious about. Riku saw in there aura as well that there was an uncertain fear in this curiousity.
The top of one building close the proimity of the place was unoccupied. It was close enough to see above the people who were crowding toward two men, both in outfits foreign to anyone in the shinobi villages. there spears pointing at the villagers and the threats they made towards them "I am Hazan, a messenger of the great Celestial Empire. All of you barbarians will soon see the might of our numbers! You will all fall at the shear power of the Celestial Empire!"
Riku could see down at the edge of the railing that these two men were what Riku had thought they were when he first seen a group of them heading towards one of the minor villages. They were from the north alright, he reconized that ensignia anywhere. The dragon on the back of there armor the curled towards there shoulder was enough to convince him. But there was one thing that did come to mind and that was the fact that there were no shinobi around these two. It was surprising to say the least. he would've seen at least three ANBU agents by now assassinate the two poor horsemen where they stood.
He shrugged and decided to take the opportunity. Why wait for someone to rescue when he was right there. He was fifteen stories from where they were at and he could judge that it was about ten feet away from the sidewalk. He takes a few steps back and then rushed forward, his lift off was silent, his descent-a leaf would've made more of a sound. Both his wrist extended back and drew out blades that were hidden from plain sight. He could hear them say something else but it was silent the moment Riku took there lives
The blade made it's way into both of the men neck, the cervical region where the spinal cord and the brain stem connect. Even through that helmeted armor, the blade pierced into the one spot that they would never had though to defend. The blade instantly severed the stem and both of the horsemen and the horse went inward into the earth, the impact of the force created a small enough created that was big enough for both the horses. Riku stood in the middle, where the earth was still strong and did not move inward. His blades were still extended but they retracted inward and out of site.
The people around them scattered like gazelles, but they sprung back when the dust cleared and saw that Riku was standing there. He then realized that he was wearing a hood and the black void gave him a enigmatic stance. He looked at both the small craters and saw the two dead men laying with there horses, who were also dead.
Riku looked at the people and then looked up to see that he was going to be surrounded in less than a few seconds. Great, this day didn't even get started

| [Sorry I didn't get to this sooner]
Shadows danced across the metallic buildings as the darkness began to diminish and the sun's light settled over Konoha. As early as it was the elderly were not the only ones awake. In fact, Sanzen was rather surprised to see anyone BUT elders at the local coffee shop. Every other morning she would come to this place, take a seat, and enjoy the savory coffee of the Ozadai Shop while reading the paper. She played the role of a typical citizen despite her ninja gear and on her opinion she played it fairly well. Nobody ever asked questions or came up to her about much of anything except to see "Good Morning!" and other such nonsense. For the most part, they all seemed caught up with the television situated in the far corner of the room or with their freshly made food. That was the benefit of the morning, all the food was fresh since it was just made.
Sanzen settled in the seat with the paper hands. Occasionally she would flip the page and make a 'hmm...' sound after reading something interesting. It appeared that the was a fire in expensive part of town and some kids who robbed a bank. She sighed and set the paper aside. It was the same old shit. Picking up her coffee, she take a sip before setting it back on the 'Ozadai Shop' coaster and taking a bite of her fresh pastry. It was a cinnamon roll, one of her favorite morning "desserts". The roll was not only carefully made with the best spices but the icing on top even seemed to be situated in the perfect manner. Precision was what this place was all about. That was why everything was always so clean, organized, and delicious. If an order was messed up they would even make the food again. This place was rather popular.
After finishing about half the roll and most of her coffee, her eyes soon turned to a gathering crowd at the window of the shop. She turned her attention back to the owners and cooks then who were gazing from over the corner. Everyone was whispering to each other as they tried to figure out what was going on. Apparently there was a crowd outside. From what she could hear, some one was shouting blabber about something called the "Celestial Empire" and what not. Now THIS, was something interesting. Seeing as how it was her duty to technically investigate, Sanzen stood up. The sound of the chairs legs across the floor made people suddenly turn their heads back to her as though they heard a bomb go off but Sanzen paid no attention. She picked up her roll and walked towards the door. While doing so she casually drank the rest of her coffee before she threw it all into the trash and stepped through the threshold of the shop and into the outer world of what was Konoha; casually brushing her hands together as she did.
"You will all fall at the shear power of the Celestial Empire!"
Sanzen sighed in her mind, 'great. Just another psycho to screw up the morning. Welp... time to give them a surprise.'
Horses....
Horses were one of the gentlest creatures out there but were very easily spooked. Even battle horses accustomed to battle sometimes freaked out too. But that was besides the point. Sanzen brought her hands up and motioned hand signs; her hands covered by the people around her. From two nearby alleyways a woman walked out casually before turning her attention to the crowd and making her way over. A man from another alleyway then came out from another alley and ran over. Both stayed a ways from the crowd. Finally, an elder man made his way over and joined them as well. Thats when things got a bit bad....
From out of nowhere sprang forth a hooded figure randomly sprang forth and slaughtered both of the man. The citizens around all backed off and some even screamed. The woman were always the one to shrill and unlucky for Sanzen, one happened to be standing right beside her. She narrowed her red hues at the woman who fled into the coffee shop. This was where quite a few people now went. Otherwise they escaped elsewhere but Sanzen held her ground. Her arms had remained crossed this whole time since she motioned the handsigns and this was the way she remained.
When quite a few people were out of the way she then took out two kunai and threw them towards the figure. Both would fly past him and explode just behind him due having attached, and well hidden, tags attached to their tops. These were painted the color of the kunai to hide them. Sanzen threw these practically all the time so there wasn't much need to worry about them being off centered. She knew how to threw them.
Right after throwing these she pulled three shuriken and launched them at the figure as well. The man whom had ran out of the alley had done so about the same time Sanzen did except from a different angle. Each possessing a trail of slight light. Sanzen was basically in the man's eyesight unless he didn't look in her direction, her form at the figures upper right (him at her left) and the man was behind him. The woman whom had ran from a different alley fled with the crowd and returned down a different alley. The elder man however picked a nearby alley beside the coffee shop to flee.
Sanzen was ready for anything. When the shuriken began to wrap around the man she was prepared for him possibly dodging. If she didn't even get around to throwing these tools due to an assault. So be it. She would react when she had to even if it meant cancelling planned attacks and moving otherwise. Besides, things didn't always go as planned and for Sanzen, this could mean the man wouldn't let himself be captured. Maybe ANBU would step in soon.

| Things appeared to Riku in very slow motion at times...
He was always prepared for situations that would call for ambushes or perhaps a massive gathering of enemies ready to swarm at him. It was a type of nostalgia in this, reminding him of times where he was surrounded by mutliple enemies, all of which had there kunai and there shurikens, swords and staffs, these were natural means in facing against one enemy. The expectation of the one whom they surrounded to fight them off one by one, was indefinite. Was it because in many things, usually one opponent would fight against a gang up one by one? Yes, it was a simple answer.
But Riku is not a simple person, he was especially not a simple enemy as well. Those eyes hidden in the black void of that hood were eyes that were white, seemingly being white as a bright star in the far north of the universe. They didn't stare blankly, no, they saw all things because these eyes were able to do so. Shurikens and kunai coming from the front, he could sense more approaching targets coming from behind and from his side. Kunai would surely come from those directions too.
His action was fluid and unhesistantly spun around in a circle, within the cirlce, chakra began to form around him, creating a small dome around him. The dome itself produce a small electrical current that when seen, there were streaks of electricity that was mixed into that dome. The kunai and shuriken would hit the dome head on but it would be to no avail of pentrating into that dome. All the shuriken and all the kunai went upward into the sky like it reflected off a wall and the kunai that had the tags exploded in the air. Riku stopped the rotation and the dome cease to exist.
An ANBU agent in a white hood, the captain of ANBU, looked his move with a bit of astonishment. It didn't startle him, no, he was trained not to be startled by surprising moves an enemy would pull. This enemy, however, did show something that was not intially a move that one would expect. "It was a rotation that mixed his chakra and electrcity" he said softly "Is this a Hyuuga? If it is, then close range and long range projectiles might be out of the question. We could aim for that one spot..." he was interuppted with more ANBU surrounding the area. He saw that the buildings were now being filled with two or more agents of ANBU. They were waiting for the initial call to drop in surrounding the target. The captain gave it.
Riku saw ANBU dropping down quickly from the sky like tiny bombers and landed around the area. The area was clear of civilians by now, probably in the buildings farther down trying to see what might happen to the man who assassinated the messengers of this empire. He wondered how long it would take for him to just escape. He had the speed, no human here in the village could catch him. Even if ANBU had skill, they were undoubtedly not the skills that could match his assassin training. He could fight, but he wanted to keep battle to a minimum. The choices were running thin.
He saw his pathway to run, a sprint through there would lead him out but the agents began to close it. He didn't know why he was hesistating but he could've taken it. The blades slide down the mechanism and out of his wrist. They edging themselves closer and closer. He could feel there auras, not intertwine with one another, they were matching with each other all in sync. He smiled underneath the hood cause now he wondered how skilled the ANBU would be. He would not get the chance and he would later regret.
Time seem slower to Riku in his eyes. But time itself shouldn't stop in Riku's eyes. He saw that the ANBU agents stopped moving. It was puzzling at first but Riku saw they had stopped breathing too. He looked and then he looked at himself. He saw that he was able to move about. He first clapped his hands, then he slapped his face hard, the pain was there so he wasn't dead. Next assumption was genjutsu but being a powerful sensor, he knows when he is and not in a genjutsu. He felt like it but he certainly wasn't in one.
And the silence. The wind wasn't blowing, he didn't hear the thunder roar in the sky. The soft screams of the villagers were silent too. He didn't hear anything. He turned and to his eyes, they slanted down into furious coals.
In front of Riku, past the ANBU agents stood a man in a very black suit. The shoes that looked untouched with time shined, almost gleaming outward him. The cufflings were gold and up close they cluffings were faces of the tormented souls twisting in agony and in pain. The man was fixing his tie. He was bald man, every inch of his hair was gone, shaven clean like a fresh shave. All the hair, was directed towards a beard that was focused right dead center on the chin.. It was long and grey, it curled up at the edge. This man was probably drop dead handsome during his time, perhaps he still is handsome...but those eyes.
The eyes were yellow, a hazy hellfire yellow that gave way that this man was not a man at all. He was something entirely different. Everything about him was unnatural, looking at him made Riku's blood almost go cold then hot. He knew this man, and this man knew him. This is him Riku thought. This is the man in charge, the man who sent these two messengers.
The creature walked towards Riku, his shoes clacking each step he took on the road. Each step felt as if the voices of the fallen left an imprint on the concrete. He could hear the voices of those crying in agony, a gut wretching yell that pierced in Riku's head like a nail through wood-FUCKER , you giant fucking FUCKER- shattering all thoughts before about how this man would appear. Riku wasn't the one to hesistant in the face of the enemy and started to walk towards him. He walked past the agents of ANBU.
"Riku" said the man. It was smooth, the hoarse of his voice was hearing melted sugar being poured out "So flashy for an assassin. But I like the hood, it does make you the sinister type"
"I take it, you are Diabolus. I have to say, you do make quite an appearance. Freezing time and what not" Riku looks back at the frozen agents "Almost thought they were good in passing a genjutsu along"
He cackled shortly. He pulled out a pack of cigarettes, they were a unknown brand to Riku and he pulled out a blacker than black cigarette. He pulls out a silver lighter and lights the tip of it, inhaling in what smelled like sulfur and ash. He lets it out slowly "You a smart one. Like your papi. Except you a bit sharper with the deadpan"
"You know, I'm a guy who don't like to be fucked around with" he smiled underneath the hood but then posed a serious face "Let's cut the small and pleasantries. This is your invitation I take it. You made the first move"
"And the first move is always check. I'm wondering what you'll do, Shikyo. I've sent the invitations to the villages. Now, I send my invitation to you personally. Allow me to introduce the beginning of insanity..." he whistles a sharp spike in tone "Girl, come out. Don't hide from me"

| "Sanzen! "Sanzen! "Sanzen! "Sanzen! "Sanzen!
Their voices came together as a choir. What started off with occasional chirps formed to one sound, casting Sanzen into a moment of confusion.
"Huh?"
After the weapons were deflected from the man's ability, and seeing ANBU arrive, Sanzen felt this wasn't her fight anymore. She had backed off and took a dive to a near alley. The tall buildings guarded her sides now as she watched and waited. She was just barely watching, her eyes peering at two different angles. The man who had helped her had exploded the moment the electrical currents were casted down the tools. He had no choice but to for it was his design to erupt upon coming in contact with any sort of spark related to fire or even lightning. She still had one other alley though. It was the woman who had run out of the alley earlier and soon went back to it to hide. Sanzen didn't see the alley as being needed anymore, but she figued they never knew. Anything could come in handy at any moment.
"Sanzen be alert..."
Her red hues twitched to the left as a tinge of brown surrounded her iris. She saw nothing but ANBU. Her eyes remained though as she waited, and watched. She could see the hooded man whom killed the men on horseback in her peripherals. He had not budged since her attack and yet the ANBU still came. Until...something odd happened.
"SANZEN GET AWAY!"
The young spirits high pitched voice cause her to flinch. It made her head hurt as though she just had a senbon run from temple to temple and began to lightly vibrate all at once. She snapped back as her eyes twitched to the man and back to the alley.
"Whats going on?"
There was moment of silence in her mind. Apparently all the other spirits had been confused by Shisshou's shriek as well. They waited and soon her voice came out as a low whisper. She sounded though she were shaking from fear, confusing Sanzen.
"The bad man..... The bad man is here."
Kaito? Levi? Bob? Jim? Kip? Maybe MufasaN who was this supposable bad man? Sanzen's confusion would soon be answered. It was then time froze.
Everything stopped moving and, in a way, she felt as though she couldn't bring herself to go as well. She still heard the spirits though. Their voices were mumbles. She sensed movement between the cloaked figure and some new mysterious man. This was mostly the spirits doing though. It was they who were watching, their auras leaping from her body around her just to get a good visual on what was occurring. She watched the man personally, wondering if he looked familiar or not. From what she saw, he hadn't. But he couldve been one of her many clients long ago that she missed. Why did she automatically go to the thought of why she had or had not sexed him as a whore? Because as one, she managed to figure out some weaknesses of the male species. She didn't think she had. She brushed the thought aside, feeling sickened by it.
His eyes burned yellow, like that of a beast raised from the darest depths of hell. This wasn't unnatural to her though. Shisshou made her eyes turn yellow when she took over. Then there was the fact she had odd red eyes herself. This stuff didn't phase her. What did though was why some of the spirits were getting worked up. These men seemed peculiar, but why? And how did they know one another?
A sharp whistle startled her from her thoughts s she shivered. The spirits fell oddly silent. In fact it were as though the world itself grew silent. Before, everything surrounded like a roar of hidden chaos. The thunder, the machinery, the voices. But now, dead silence. But this sharp whistle echoed through her mind, destroying her thoughts along with it. Then came the strange man's voice.
"Girl, come out. Don't hide from me."
'Pardon... Hiding? Does he mean me?'
Sanzen was confused to who this was directed to but cautiously stepped out anyway. Her eyes watched him as she stared into what seemed like gold. They were solid as stone and the color gave it an edge. But as happy as gold made people, his eyes seemed to not do the job. In fact, it made her feel hollow. She directed her attention to the cloaked man as she stopped before returning her eyes to the man who she could call a demon. Stopping in her tracks, she pointed at herself as though to say 'Me?'. If this was to her, what did this man want?
Sanzen's spirits couldn't be heard as her eyes began to take on a tinge of black. The arrival of this man was waking up someone better left to rest. He watched through Sanzen while he sat in a mind made chair and with his hands lasped. One leg was crossed over the other as well. Kutsuu was awake.

| Riku's question of who he was talking to was answered when he turned around and saw a young girl, early twenties perhaps, step out of the alleyway. His eyes couldn't meet hers but underneath that void, his eyes were a silent blue, a color that was in terror and in anticipation. How was this human able to move? He would ask that only to find out that her aura was expanding out and in, like a lung breathing in and out. The colors were intense, shouting out vibrant yellows, oranges that screamed and reds that dripped blood out of itself.
To Riku, this was like the time he met Kaji and Hitoshi, they were insane, yes and they had an aura like that when they were fighting. The colors were exuberant and if Riku didn't shift away, his eyes would've saw something more than just insanity. He looked back to Diabolus. He saw the smirk on his face and wondered if he made that smile to his father, or grandfather or his great-grandfather.
"Yes" said the devil "Yes, I know what you are thinking. How is she able to move. You found out the answer and the answer is the spirits inside of that creature. Pulsating in and out" he stepped forward "in and out" his voice was echoing-Stop talking; Doesn't know when to shut up, STOP FUCKING TALKING- "in and out" he said in a mesmorizing voice "And look at whom appears but insanity incarnate"
In that second, the thought of attacking him was running through all spots in his mind. He would quick enough ,yeah, he knew that for sure but to honesty thing that a physical attack would harm him? Damn, don't be foolish, the last thing we need is someone with sense to lose it. No, dont attack, that is what he wants me to do. If I do that...Riku lost track and saw that Diabolus disappeared. He turned quickly thinking that he had come up from behind, his hidden blade came out ready to slice at him. But when he saw that he was behind the woman, he noticed that his smile turned into a wide grin.
"Do you see boy. Insanity starts with" his hand moved from his side and out towards Riku in a gesture of victory. His arms outstretched by the woman's shoulder and he put his hand into a fist "man. Mankind starts it. It was I who brought it and it is them that feed upon it..." he walked around displaying the woman like a piece of art in an auction "Step right up and enjoy such toys like such. Look at her, doesn't she look adorable?" his hand trailed down her cheek. It felt cold to the skin yet left a hot streak the moment his hand moved away.
"What the hell does she have to do with it?" Riku asked "You dont target a person specifically so what gives?" The devil stopped in front of her, his eyes gazing into hers, piercing the walls that was once blocking all those who would invade it with an ease like cutting through rice paper. He saw inside the mind that there was a woman sitting down in a chair, her legs folded and a ongoing darken look came about her. Yes, that was her, that was what he came for.
Riku didn't get an answer right away so he said "Why didn't you go after my colleagues? Many of them are insane, hell even my apprentice was insane and yet-" he stopped when he saw that Diabolus turned to him and that smile didn't fade but those eyes were relentless
"Insanity is a tough meat" he said coldly "It needs attention that needs to slowly churn and marinate inside itself. If I were to take something too young, it would not be ready, too young for insanity to dwell upon. Too old and there is no point, it is too late for such insanity to become what it should be. It learned through those years that insanity can go dull..." his glance returns to Sanzen "But hers. It's still fresh, not too young and not too old. It's perfect for what it is needed. It does perfect for me" His rose a finger lightly up on Sanzen's head and pressed on it. He leans forward in a gentle way, his words poured out of his mouth softly into her ears and said "Arise, insanity" he backed away and let the stew boil over. He turned to Riku
"And what to do with you? I wouldn't think that you would get involved in this war. Last time I checked, you still bare the colors of your assassinhood. Now, you want to help the shinobi?"
"If I were to stop and smell the roses while your little empire was to attack the shinobi villages, then what's the point of me and my clan being guardians? We would be considered failures to this world"
A sharp laugh came form the devil, his feet shuffled in a dance and he clapped over and over "BUT YOU FAILED LONG AGO!" his words echoed within the village "Your people...failed as guardians when you decided to work against Him. It was such a funny moment for me that I almost CHOKED in laughter" he said this through his teeth. There wasn't humor in his voice anymore but pure agonizing anger. "Now, you decide you want to protect these fucking creatures. They wouldn't look twice at you. Hell, they dont even know you exist. They hear Shikyo and they say "who is that" or "What kinda of music is it" It's hysterical"
The devil reached into his suit jacket and pulled out a small knife. His hands began to twirl around like a baton and then he threw it easily at Riku. He dodged it but he was unaware where it landed. Riku turned and saw that the blade disappeared into one of the ANBU's chest. All that was sticking out was the handle. Diabolus smiled at this "Like I said, this isn't your war. Let these fucks deal with it. For now, I'm going to watch insanity brew in this creature" he turns his stare to Sanzen

| "Yes, I know what you are thinking. How is she able to move. You found out the answer and the answer is the spirits inside of that creature. Pulsating in and out", stepping towards the cloaked man, "in and out. And look at whom appears but insanity incarnate"
Sanzen stood there in confusion. She dropped her hand, which was pointed at her, back to her side as she stared at the blue eye male. He had a memorizing edge to him which caused her to be a bit restless. She felt the need to turn away and let these two duke it out, or do whatever else they needed to, but she was compelled to stay. She heard her heart beating amongst the eerie and gloomy silence. She no longer heard the spirits within her, raising her concern as she searched for them. Nothing but a dark void was found. What was going on? Why were the ANBU still... frozen?
The man disappeared and reappeared behind her. Her eyes widened as she stiffened. It appeared as though she saw a ghost or was touched by something cold on her back. Chills ran down her spine as she stared at the cloaked figure. In a way she was pleading for help or at least requesting for some aid in figuring out what was happening. Problem was, she didn't know whether these two were in kahootz or not. They didn't seem like it but who knew.
"Do you see boy. Insanity starts with" his hand moved from his side and out towards the cloaked figure as a fist "man. Mankind starts it. It was I who brought it and it is them that feed upon it..." After that, the man walked up while gazing at Sanzen like merchandise. This set off a ton of red flags in her mind, causing her to glare at him. "Step right up and enjoy such toys like such. Look at her, doesn't she look adorable?"
'WHAT!?'
She appeared as though she was snarling at him but made no sound. Her glare burned with a fury at his comments. She wasn't his. She didn't even know him. What the hell did he want with her? His hand moved down her cheek but she slapped it away with the back of her own. His cold touch turned hot upon touching her. What in the world.
"What the hell does she have to do with it?" the cloaked figure asked. So...they weren't in kahootz, or at least not anymore. They must have known each other from the way they talked but how did they was the question and why was she dragged in. She waited for the man's response. So far she was beginning to like this cloak figure more. Who the heck was he anyway?
The man stopped before her and she gazed into his eyes. Bad mistake. She saw him as though he were piercing through her soul and soon enough, she felt a spirit she hated most. The man sitting in the chair, the seventh and oldest spirit known as Kutsuu, was by far the thing she tried to seal. The thing they all hated after he took over her body and nearly had her kill Shi once. Kutsuu wasn't a force to be reckoned with and now his chains were broken. Her eyes began to grow a bit darker than black in a few places as she heard his evil laugh within her mind and a whimper from her own throat.
'What...the.. heck...?'
"Why didn't you go after my colleagues? Many of them are insane, hell even my apprentice was insane and yet-"
The man turned away, facing the cloaked figure as Sanzen's aura changed. In the man's eyes, despite her knowing of his ability, he would most likely see her aura grow darker and darker as Kutsuu took over. Beneath Kutsuu's manipulation though came something more. Something that sealed the spirits for good and even began to overpower Kutsuu's own insanity. She felt it rise. She held it back though.
"Insanity is a tough meat" he said coldly "It needs attention that needs to slowly churn and marinate inside itself. If I were to take something too young, it would not be ready, too young for insanity to dwell upon. Too old and there is no point, it is too late for such insanity to become what it should be. It learned through those years that insanity can go dull..." he looked back at her, "But hers. It's still fresh, not too young and not too old. It's perfect for what it is needed. It does perfect for me"
She took a step back before she thrashed her head a bit. She had closed her eyes because of this sharp movement but upon reopening, they could both see them turn from black to red, black to red. It was a repetitive pattern due to her fighting the force. Her dreams felt as though they were slipping and the darkness grew. It was then the man touched her again, pressing his finger to her forehead as her ever changing hues glared right into his eyes. She went from a hating person to an enraged looking beast before reverting back to woman. All because of her eyes. Then it hit...
"Arise, insanity"
Her eyes widened in complete and utter horror as they went from a sharp blue to a sudden black. She suddenly let out a shriek of pain as she grabbed at her head and fell to her knees. Her aura would turn black like her eyes. Tears streamed as her inner good cried out for aid. She felt the darkness consuming her. It caused her to cross her arms around her stomach. On the ground, she appeared as though she wanted to throw up. Her forehead touched the concrete as she shouted in pain. Imagine a person who had just been stabbed and it would thus explain what she appeared like. She moved her head to her chin as she thrashed a bit, still holding on to her last bit of herself that she had left. She glared at the man who did this, his back turned to her. She then turned her glare to the cloaked man. From this position she could make out his white eyes and part of his face. He appeared to have blue hair but it was all covered by the shadows of the hood he wore. She gave a look of hatred before it turned to one of pleading. She didn't know who he was. What he could do to her. Nothing. But she wanted his help.
"BUT YOU FAILED LONG AGO!" the man's voice echoed, his yell directed to the cloaked male, "Your people...failed as guardians when you decided to work against Him. It was such a funny moment for me that I almost CHOKED in laughter"
She soon fell over to her side, her arms still wrapped around her stomach as she gaped. She wanted to scream but then bit down and scrunched into a ball. She had been twitching the whole time and was now lightly whimpering. Suddenly she then thrashed to her other side and then back. She was fighting with all her being. She had a strong will and that very thing which was once good was all she had left. It was also hurting her but she didn't care. She wanted to be free.
"Like I said, this isn't your war. Let these fucks deal with it. For now, I'm going to watch insanity brew in this creature"
She heard him turn and glanced up slightly. Through blurry teared eyes she glared at him before she hit her head back against the concrete, her jaw clenching as she panted. After that, she looked once more back at the cloaked male with white eyes. One last time she pleaded. One last time she whimpered, One last time she saw the light...
Everything grew black. Her eyes, her aura; her own soul it seemed. She was scrunched in a ball again but rather than thrashing she laid still. It appeared as though she wasn't even breathing at first but suddenly that all changed. It started off low as her whimper but soon grew louder. Her chuckle echoed almost like his voice while her arms remained crossed around her stomach. She couldn't stop laughing. She couldn't resist.
She was awake.

| That glimmer of hope that was in that girls eye was eaten away and the nothingness arrived. He saw within that small second of hope and last seconds of helplessness, Riku eyes widen to remember something from the past. He remember those same eyes he once saw in Rains. They wanted him to help her, The tears that could not fall from her eyes gazed at him and for that moment, Riku heard his voice say "Do I care for humans?" he didn't know. Seeing all those dying and fading away left and right from him questioned his own philosophy. Who could he protect, why should he protect them, what was the point of protecting anything if he couldn't protect one person.
Her laughter shattered the air, roaring out. It was a higher pitch than the one the devil. She was grabbing her stomach, helplessly laughing out her insanity. It screeched in and out, in and out and for once Riku saw something more than just a person being lost. He saw a person be consumed and enjoy such consumption with the only way a person could enjoy a good joke.
The devil turned to Riku. His face was lighten exuhberantly. He grinned and he cackled a aging and old cackle that had voices among voices in those voices. "Do you see boy? I said it before, I was the one who brought insanity, it was mankind that fed it and made it grow" he held onto his arms, embracing him with affection. He was gone out of Riku's sight. Riku turned but saw that he was right behind him. His hand gently placed on his shoulder. It was so cold, so cold that hand. He wanted to move away, it was ridiculous how cold it was. 'Oh God, if I had to get away from this thing I would but I can't. Damn it, damn it all' he couldn't think cause that hand was so cold. He wanted to yell or scream but couldn't
The madness was driving itself into Riku. He could feel that hot sulfuric self gain into Riku. If he didn't do anything, he'll be consumed. Oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck! FUCK! Riku spin around with a reverse roundhouse kick. It landed on the devil, he could feel it make impact with the side of his face. It knocked him back but it didnt' daze him. No, he slid taking the impact and smiled eagerly "Tell me, isn't it nostalgic that we are here again. Facing off to determine whether man should live or not"
Riku grabbed on his shoulder, the stiffness was still there but it was fading away quickly. He was rubbing it with his off hand, trying to gain warmness back in it. Diabolus continued talking, walking back and forth in a line "How old were you last when we first saw each other? Ten? Eleven?"
"Eleven" Riku said softly
"Ahhh, yes, eleven. It was you and your father that one time. I thought I would create a ninth shinobi war at that point. But of course, you foiled me. Thanks to you, I had to recooperate in a shithold of my kingdom in order to get regain back what I lost"
Riku placed his hand off his shoulder, feeling the cold out of muscles. He didn't particularly remember how strong diabolus was but comparing what he sensed, this diabolus was much stronger than before. Granted, he did have his father with him but it was Riku that fought him off. "You're stronger" he said "Something tells me you weren't sitting around when we fought"
"Oh no" diabolus said quickly "Why would I sit around and count the bodies of dead babies? No point in gaining my revenge without plot. I wanted to find you again and I knew through my little puppets that I would find you eventually. I seeped my way into the villages, began manipulating the peoples minds and in turn, they give me strength"
Diabolus smiled as he saw the understanding in Riku's face "Looks like you figured that out. You always thought that the villages gave a weird vibe to it. Well...you were right. What amazes me is the fact that you were able to sense it. There are others who are able to sense it but they wouldn't reconize it because-" he claps his hands "it's all apart of the great scheme of things. To question the unknown and the unseen is marking themselves as insane. If people wanted to yell out that there was something wrong....they would ask what is wrong and if that person can't describe, well you know the rest"
"It's mind-control"
"Yes and no boy. I wouldn't particularly say it's absolute but the weaker the individual, the better control it has on the people. The more unaware, the better controlled. Slavery for the mind, shackles of the conscious. These shinobi, run around and make food for me. I just" his hands made a pushing gesture "give them the idea. It's them that take it, use it, tamper with it, oh the endless possibilities"
"Yes" Riku said softly "I know that. I knew that when I was little and I know that now. But what I dont see is how you're gaining anything from this war. If you have control over many of the villages and this empire, why the war?"
There was a glare in his eye that made him say 'you know the answer' to Riku. He answered howerver "The sins of this world, the blood of man, the pride, the lust, the envy, the gluttony, the wrath, all these things please me. War...pleases me. Violence pleases me. You...you dont. You dont fit. If I could, I would kill you where you stand but I can't kill you. No, no...." he kept on chanting this over and over
"You can't kill me" Riku said "Not here at least. And I can't even hurt you. I would have to fight you in neutral territory"
"Yes, I know..." he points to the woman, to Sanzen or whomever she was "But I have much more in store for you. I want you to suffer before I kill you. I especially want you to beg and cringe as I kill everyone that you value in your life before ripping you apart" He raises a finger up into the air and he snaps his fingers. Things begin to move very slowly at first. Riku saw that the ANBU agents movements were like watching a bug trying to move in molasses. He saw the realization aura of the person who got stabbed. He saw him slowly lower his head to look at the wound, the pain would slowly rise from that spot towards his head. Blood would come out slowly but in a stream.
"It's up to you whether we'll fight in the end or not. For now, I say let the shinobi fight this emprie that I created out of nothingness. Don't interfer" with that, he saw Diabolus disappear just as quick he appeared. Time was moving fast enough and to Riku he saw that time was beginning to start up again. Riku knew that if he stayed here for long he would definitely have to fight ANBU. Not a good thing for him today.
Riku ran, his speed unseen to those who would watch him. He jumped up on top of the buildings and head out towards anotehr district of the village. He would have to hide out for awhile here and perhaps try to convince some souls that they were in more danger than what they saw.
"Kutsuu...." diabolus voice was echoing in his head "Don't follow. I want to play with him later on. For now, I want to see something of you. I want to see whether insanity itself. Walk among these people and seek out more insanity" She would see that the agents were looking, glaring as to what had happen. They saw that one of there agents, the captain nonetheless, had taken a mortal wound to the chest. They rushed to him and few agents left out of sight to find the cloaked man.
He was out of sight. He lands on the top of a large building. From what he could see, he was on top of the a business building so his assumption was the business district of this place. Riku sat down and slide towards the wall. His chest was heaving up and down. His fearlessness almost got him killed. He knew that if he had ignored all of this warnings, it didn't matter what limitations the devil had, he would've gotten killed.
He pulled back his hood and the white hair fell over his face. He wiped the beads of sweat off of his forehead. "This day never ends" he thought "And the storm is getting worse" he looked over and saw that the storm was coming towards Konoha. It's omnious movement was slow at best towards them. Riku could sense that dark aura surrounding it and knew that it would be hell to pay when it rain down on the people "Rain man" he said to himself "Fuck the rainman" Riku leaned his head back and wondered where he could go.
He thought about it and then he knew where he had to go "I promise to return to you didn't I?"

| Eventually her laughter began to cease as she managed to regain control of her fit. She silently pushed herself off the cold ground and back to her feet. Some drool had formed on the side of her lip from laughing so much. She raised her black sleeve up and whipped her while her black hues rested on the man and the cloaked figure. She didn't officially get their names but she believed that the male who kept touching her was named Diabolus. In a way, she also knew without knowing that he was Diabolus. It was odd. With her soul sealed up and her body mostly being ran by Kutsuu; Sanzen's facial expression was rather overly calm now. It were as though she had never went through the fits at all. The obvious sign that she had though was the empty black iris's that now remained in her eyes. Not even a tinge of red was seen. It was fully Kutsuu. He had possessed her full soul now and pushed all the other spirits into the darkest depths of Oblivion for the time being, They would fight and fight but the chance of them piercing back through would probably be slim to none. It was all thanks to Diabolus too.
One question still remained though, who was the cloaked male? So far she knew he and his father met when this man was only eleven. He looked pretty full grown now so Diabolus must have been, what?, in his 60s? Who knew. She figured that the cloaked male, who she believed was name Riku but didn't actually know, was roughly in his 20's or 30's. She didn't know how she was even coming these answers but something was telling her. It was weird yet normal. If this were Sanzen, her head would hurt, but seeing as it was Kutsuu who was at least a spirit well over 1,000 years old. This sort of stuff didn't phase him. He's even seen death before. Woo.
When reality began to return, the man whom was stabbed realized what had happened and began to panic. The other ANBU saw this, Sanzen, and the other two as well. Sanzen would be the obvious one to spot. Seeing as how she seemed unaffected by ANBU and was standing in a leader like position; they may get suspicious. The chances of her being questioned would be high but she didn't plan to give them anything. If she escaped and hide out she could change her appearance and be fine for a good while. Sanzen that they knew who fade from reality and be replaced by an unknown female. Or an unknown male.
The cloaked male took off, leaving her and Diabolus now. Diabolus ahd told him not to interfere and although she thought they weren't connected besides meeting at a young age; she knew there was more to this still than met the eye. She just couldn't put her finger on what it was exactly. At least not yet. She would have to wait this out.
"Kutsuu...." she heard Diabolus say, his voice echoing in her mind and causing her to glance at him, "Don't follow. I want to play with him later on. For now, I want to see something of you. I want to see whether insanity itself. Walk among these people and seek out more insanity"
She nodded, trying to plan out what she had to do now as she gazed back over at the ANBU members. They were tending their fallen captain but a few appeared to be ready to fight. Sanzen simply gazed at these men peering her way. Normal Sanzen would see her hopes, her dreams, everything that she wanted to be lie before her. However she now stood on the opposite side of the glass. In a blink of an eye the tables had turned and now she was working against her goals and dreams. She would become the reason ANBU existed. To terminate any threats to the village and those that caused the well being of the people to suffer. She would bring them fire from the skies, darkness into their hearts. She would finall see them crumble.
Sanzen held back the snirk like grin form across her face as the rain began to fall around them. It made her dark eyes grow worse and caused the red on her shirt to fade. She needed to change her appearance. Then, she would hunt.
Turning away from the scene and deciding to not chase the male, she walked a few meters forward and formed seals.
"Hold it! Stop right there!" one of the ANBU threatened, her hand raised as though she were trying to stop her with a force she lacked. She was holding onto her captain with the other. The man continued to grunt with pain as his chest heaved in an out. A few ANBU began to prepare themselves as Sanzen stood there. She then reached into her pocket and threw down a smoke bomb, causing the ANBU to fly towards her and surround the smoke at a distance. They were close but not to close, just in case.
The moment the smoke cleared though, the real Sanzen was gone. In her place was a dummy. She simply stood there, a kunai in hand, as she waved at the ANBU. One of the men leaped forward as the other two prepped hand signs. When the man leaped, he grew close and made a fast slice to Sanzen's neck. Terrible mistake. The ANBU found out that Sanzen wasn't real. She erupted into an explosion, casting the ANBU onto his back after flying a few meters. He hit the ground and slid before trying to push himself up. It knocked the wind out of him and burned parts of his skin that were bare but otherwise he would be fine.
Sanzen herself slipped beneath the surface of the earth, through the concrete too, and was gone. Now came the time when someone would reap the earth of its innocence yet again. She never believed it would be her though. To be her herself didn't even have an inkling of what was even happening. In her eyes, the world was shrouded by nothing but darkness as Kutsuu controlled her body.
