Appearance:Shin stands at the height of 5'5, while weighing roughly 120 pounds. Even if his body is lean then he is stronger than most would guess at first because his ninja training. He wouldn't perhaps be described as being the tallest and most fit genin out there, but give it a year or two and his growth will start kicking in for sure. Now being at the age of 14, the young boy is not pleased about having a face that would indicate him being at least 2 or 3 years younger than his actual age. His smooth, slightly pale skin which doesn't hold any blemishes would make any girl feel jealous of him, and boys often ask if he uses girls products. His slightly big, round eyes hold a fascinating mix of the colors dark blue and gray which often seem to make people mistake the eye-color for black when looked at from a special angle. He's got a petite nose over a small mouth with slightly full lips that reveal a row of pearly white and sharp teeth whenever he smiles or speaks.
His coal black hair reaches down his neck at the back and frames his face in messy locks that never seem to be able to stay the way they should be. The comb always has to admit defeat, leaving out only the possibility of using tons of gel. Which might not exactly be Shin's first choice. His usual clothing consists of a typical school uniform. A white shirt that's usually buttoned all the way up, or in a messy way when Shin oversleeps and has to be in a hurry, a red tie which seems to be a bit strange on such a young boy and then a dark blue jacket over. His pants are dark green checkered, his socks are colored usually after his mood and then he wears simple brown shoes.

Personality:A key aspect of Shin's personality is his ability to almost entirely mask every aspect of his personality in nearly every situation. During his youth, Shin realized how beneficial it was to hide ones emotions in many situations. Over the course of his life, he has nearly perfected this art, only those who know him very well are able to glimpse the emotions which fuel any actions. Others will find it difficult, if not impossible to deem what he is feeling, as his body gives almost no notable signs unless he wishes it to. He also possesses the ability modify his personality for most social situations. This falling into place due to his ability to separate the different social situations and modify, or rather hide in an extent, his personality to fit each of the situations.

The world is the chessboard , the pieces are the phenomena of the Universe, the rules of the game are what we call the laws of Nature and the player on the other side is hidden from us” That simple statement describes Shin's outlook on life. The world is the board, it's shapes all fitting into the shape, it's environment effecting the people . People are the pieces, the hand moving them is guided by emotions, their motives never clean, pulled into play by primal desires. Any interaction with other's is dictated in strategy like a game of chess, every move in every situation is important.

Although he is a excellent strategist, he is very laid back. Nearly always seen as very lazy, he rarely puts his full effort into things and only doing things if they really need to be done. Yet on another token, he may become extremely hyperactive and playful, almost a complete personality flip. Since an early age Shin has been praised for his intelligence. He enjoys doing anything that may increase his knowledge base. He also finds. He finds delight in puzzles, seeking the solutions franticly, but often tossing them aside after finishing them, the solution having been his only goal. However, although he is intelligent, he rarely displays the knowledge, preferring to only give away what he knows when absolutely needed.

Although he may act indifferent to the feelings of others, underneath his mask Shin feels deeply for those he cares for. Despite appearances, he is generally very caring and forgiving, although it is hidden behind his mask. Whether or not this is a good thing is a matter of perspective. He possesses a strong dislike for fighting outright, preferring to end fights before they begin. However, when he does fight he does so with a calm and rational mind, planing and computing every action and keeping his mask in place.

Clan Traits:

The Uchiha have a number of traits which set them apart from the normal ninja. First off being that they all seem to have black hair. Also, every one in this clan has a main element of fire. They seem to be very proficient in the three basic jutsu arts of Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu (This does not mean Uchiha characters can have three specialties), and are usually known as the elite brand of shinobi. Uchiha generally seem to work with their speed rather then raw brute strength and are very agile and quick.

Kekkei Genkai:

Sharingan is the blood inheritance limit of the Uchiha Clan. The Uchiha are said to be descendants of the Hyuuga, with the Byakugan changing into the Sharingan over time. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and almost instantly memorize the movements required to be able to complete it, including the needed chakra moldings and seals used. However the clan member cannot copy techniques that are unique to another bloodline and the clan member must have a body capable of meeting the chakra and physical requirements to do the jutsu. This rarely stops the clan member though, as such stressful situations often push their limits farther and allow them to harness their full potential.

The Uchiha clan member is not granted the Sharingan at birth; it is only activated later in life, typically during a time of emotional stress in the heat of battle. The Sharingan itself can be transferred to another non-Uchiha by a medical ninja, such as happened with Leaf ninja Uchiha Obito to his teammate Hatake Kakashi. Because his body was not born to carry the Sharingan, the eye is always activated and it burns Kakashi's chakra when used. To lessen the impact of the Sharingan on Kakashi's body, he normally keeps the eye hidden and out of use. Also of note, is the fact Kakashi, a non-Uchiha, was able to advance the Sharingan from two tomoe to three tomoe after gaining the eye.

The Sharingan itself contains three tomoe (comma). A higher mastery of the Sharingan can be seen in the creation of a new tomoe in the eye, with three tomoe being the typical highest form of the eye. The rare Mangekyou form is a unique evolution of the Sharingan beyond the three tomoe form, please see its entry for more information. An eye possessing two tomoe can allow the Uchiha clan member to track the movement of an opponent and do some minor copying of an opponents attack. For avoiding incoming attacks, the Uchiha's speed and agility will greatly control whether they can move to avoid it. However, three tomoe will greatly help in this area.

Two tomoe will also allow the ninja to pierce Genjutsu and see the surrounding reality for what it really is. It can also allow the member to pierce another’s body and see their chakra. While the eye is not refined enough to see the tenketsu and chakra circulatory system like the Byakugan, it can view the movement and flow of chakra. This can help them tell if a person is trapped in a Genjutsu, or if an attacker is a real threat or merely a bunshin.

An eye containing three tomoe will allow the ninja to see the image of an attacker’s next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body. This prevents wasteful movement and allows the Uchiha clan member to conserve much needed chakra in battle. It allows them to synchronize their movement to strike at an area moments before their opponent is even in that spot, essentially allowing them to strike out and hit their opponent before they're even there.

Three tomoe also grants the Uchiha the ability to do Genjutsu and hypnosis after locking eyes with an enemy. This can be used to cause their opponent to do an attack of the Uchiha's choosing. This hypnosis can also be used as a Genjutsu counter, which is the ability to turn a Genjutsu spell back upon the original caster without the requirement of forming any hand seals.

The Mangekyō Sharingan ( Literally meaning Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye) is a heightened form of Sharingan. The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to powerful and forbidden techniques. The Mangekyō Sharingan is distinguished from a normal Sharingan through its appearance, which changes the form of the tomoe seal. Unlike in the case of the Sharingan, the appearance of the Mangekyō Sharingan differs from user to user. The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to several powerful techniques, and erodes the eyesight of its users, eventually causing blindness, which can be alleviated by obtaining another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan from a sibling. The new Sharingan is dubbed the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. The techniques used by this eye vary from person to person and is limited to one technique per eye. It can be achieved by the killing of someone who is very close to the user as a display of being willing to sacrifice anything for power. This can not be fooled and be a fake friend. It must be a real and true strong connection so it takes a certain kind of individual to be able to get it. It can also be gotten by extremely brutal and long training, taking many years to obtain of constant hard work and dedication, though the person can not be aiming for it and it actually just happens at random. Even with the hardest work, it is possible for an Uchiha to never achieve this level of eye mastery.

The target does not have to look into his eyes, a glance at the hand itself will be enough. Once inside the illusion, they can control the visions the ninja sees. This illusion can also be used to play on the fears of the target, causing them to see and hear those who they care about degrade them. Requires third tomoe to use.

History:

The Uchiha clan was descended from the elder of the two boys entrusted by the Sage of the Six Paths with the power and will of the way of the ninja. The elder believed that might would bring peace. The Sage chose the younger as more fitting to be his successor, causing the elder to be vengeful. From the younger boy descended the Senju clan who would be the eternal rivals of the Uchiha. Before the founding of the ninja villages, the Uchiha were one of the many mercenary clans for hire. Because of their Sharingan, the Uchiha clan came to be known as one of the two strongest clans, the second being the Senju clan. Madara Uchiha was particularly powerful, and, upon attaining the Mangekyō Sharingan, he took control of the clan. Under his leadership the Uchiha grew stronger, conquering whatever clans they came upon, such that, whenever the Uchiha clan was hired for a job, the opposing side would hire the Senju.

Hashirama Senju, the leader of the Senju clan, grew tired of the endless fighting, and approached the Uchiha clan with a peace treaty. Madara feared that an alliance would lead the Uchiha to ruin, but his clan disagreed, and he was forced to accept. The two clans came together to form Konoha, with Hashirama being selected as Hokage. Madara believed that this was proof that the Uchiha would be made subservient to the Senju, but his clan saw this only as his attempt to rekindle the flames of war. They turned their backs on him, and he defected. Following Madara's betrayal, the Second Hokage gave the Uchiha control of the Konoha Military Police Force as a sign of trust. According to Madara, this was really just a way of keeping the Uchiha in check and out of Konoha's governing affairs. Over the years, some Uchiha have figured out this motive's true meaning, and tried to rebel against the village as Madara did, but they found that it was too little, too late to make a difference, as the Senju had already completely suppressed the Uchiha. Eventually a revolt was attempted by a select few Uchiha members, but this was crushed quickly and they were thrown in jail or put to death based on their role in the uprising. The Uchiha who did not partake in it, were not held accountable and after that the relations between the Uchiha and the rest of the village grew stronger and trust was finally instilled.
