Seal Info: The Seal that The Sealing Man placed on Yamazu in his betrayal was not entirely destroyed when the Monkey-Priest broke free of the stone that entombed him. If Yamazu had wanted to destroy the entire Seal, it would have taken him an eternity, such was his former companions' power. As a result, Yamazu only broke the Seal instead of destroying it, leaving some of its properties intact. His cells regenerate at a much faster pace than normal, allowing him to recover from wounds suffered faster. A further result of this is that his body does not age anymore, as his cells have reached a kind of equilibrium with his chakra. In addition, he has no longer any need for physical sustenance.

Note: Any wounds he suffers do not heal in the same thread he suffered them. It takes twenty-four to forty-eight hours for most injuries to heal, more heavy injures taking up to a week. Any harm he takes in a thread will remain in that thread until it is concluded.
