It had been only a few days since Konoha had been attacked from the Bijuu. The attack put a toll on the village, and the rebuilding had already begun. Kaosu knew that he wanted to help the village rebuild, but he knew that he had a much bigger thing to do. He knew if there was an attack again, he would need to have more able bodies to help. It was time for him to meet the rest of his Genin team and start their training. He knew that he wanted to start this sooner, but several events had postponed this meeting and training, he could not let another moment pass, and have their lives at risk. Only a day after the attack, he had sent out a message to each of the Genin to meet Kaosu at the training grounds in several days, today was that day. Kaosu had walked into the middle of the training area, and the sun was just barely getting up. He had set the time early on purpose, so he could squeeze every hour out of the day. However, he did not want to over work the Genin. He walked over to a nearby stone and sat down.

As he sat down, his mind wandered for a few moments and he thought of the time he first started training. It had seemed that this village was slightly more peaceful at the time, but it did not stay like that for long. He had hoped that the village would not get attacked until these three were ready to fight, he had hoped never, but he knew that was a silly dream. He sighed has he sat down remembering the past, but what he needed to focus on was what was at hand. He stood up from the rock he was sitting on and took out his sword. He knew that he heard something coming this way, and he would hope that it was one of his Genin. It was most likely, because no one was up at this hour. He awaited for the person to arrive, or get close to say anything.

"Welcome, young one, it is good to see you." He paused for a moment to began talking again. "I am Kaosu Aburame, your Jounin sensei." He said without even seeing the person. He wanted to get things going as soon as possible, because he knew things were about to get even rougher in and outside Konoha, and Kaosu's team had to be ready for it. "I hope you are prepared." He said in the same tone he did when the person first arrived.

OCC: Sorry its so short.

Soft footsteps crunching on fallen leaves followed the young genin through the forest to the edge of the second training grounds. Ozunu was right on his heels, already excited about meeting new people. This made Raizo grin since the tiger only really knew him. The boys attitude was a happy one as he neared the end of the forest. The prospect of actually making some friends had put him in a good mood since his departure from the other training grounds. He wondered if the other boy would be around to see him with his team. Raizo didn’t mind. It would give the other boy the chance to assess Raizo’s skill and learn something about him. Grinning, the boy stepped over the boundaries of the woods and into the training ground.

Words reached his ears before his sensei came into view. ”Welcome, young one, it is good to see you.” Raizo stopped for a second and cocked his eyebrow. Just how old IS my sensei? Shrugging it off he continued to walk until the man came into view. Since the man was an Aburame he wore the traditional high colored shirt like they all seemed to wear. It didn’t reveal much of his face and the glasses the man was wearing made it even harder to see what he looked like. Raizo didn’t really like not being able to see the person’s eyes but he would just have to deal with. Ozunu seemed to already like to man, rushing up to him and purring like some common house cat. Shaking his head and laughing silently, Raizo walked into his sensei’s view.

The first thing the man would notice would be the scar crossing the bridge of the Genin’s face. Raizo couldn’t explain how he had obtained this scar or any of the other scars he had. His sensei would then notice his piercing gray eyes that seem to drill into your mind and seek out even your smallest secrets. On his body he was wearing a red vest with two holsters on each side, each carrying a kunai. His headband is worn around his waist to keep his baggy gray pants from falling. Winking at his sensei, Raizo gave him a warm smile and then started to introduce himself.

”It’s an honor to meet you, Kaosu-sensei.” Adding the sensei onto the man’s name seemed to right thing to do. Raizo didn’t want to make a bad impression since this was his first time meeting the man. ”My name is Raizo Shihai and this is my companion, Ozunu.” Ozunu purred louder at the mention of his name. Raizo smiled at him and then looked back at his sensei. ”Im prepared for anything you are willing to throw at me. But it would seem that the other members have not yet arrived. I hope they get here soon.” Raizo kept his eyes on his sensei as he waited for the other two members of the team to arrive. He was ready to calculate the other twos strength compared to his.

Shihouin moved slower than normal to the training grounds, taking his sweet time getting there. No doubt he'd be last or second to last, whatever place he got their didn't matter to him. Something else was on his mind. The ANBU that had interrupted their spar. It wasn't a big deal to catch an ANBU out every now and the, but that ANBU was obviously powerful. Not only did it see through all of his traps, it found him in an impossible hiding place. What amazing power... Shihouin wanted that. A new goal, a new breed of feelings began to grow within him. He wanted to become a member of ANBU.

First, he had to get through this new team and the Chuunin Exams. Technically, he was only one rank away from becoming a Chuunin, and if he could get to that spot he might be able to enter the ANBU. Techniques began to flurry through his mind as he envisioned himself within the squad of the ANBU, moving undetected even past the most elite shinobi. ANBU... In his opinion, it was where the true shinobi were.

He'd gotten to the training field and seen a familiar face, no. No. Two familiar faces. It was the boy from before, the same boy who had the animal with the slight burn mark on its tail. His name was Raizo Shihai. Pretty cool. The other face he saw took him back down on memory lane. The day that S Rank entered the village and stole dogs from the Inuzuka Clan settlement. The only Jounin he had a distaste for. Sitting down with the rest of the team after the Jounin spoke, he waited for his turn after Raizo. "You hope I'm prepared? I hope you're prepared for me. I honestly couldn't give a fuck about you!" Shihouin stood up, a bit angered. "You're that fucking jounin who stopped me from attacking that S Rank one day! Jounin sensei my ass! Guys, you're better off training yourself, this guys a pussy!!!" It was true though, well at least in his mind. When the S Rank attacked, Shihouin had already gotten a plan together to stall for time. However, that plan was interrupted by a Jounin who would foil his plan and ask him to leave. As far as he was concerned, Shihouin couldn't give a care about him.

Ayame’s walking pattern wasn’t really much of a walking pattern but rather a dragging pattern as her feet never even bothered to leave the floor while she walked towards her destination. At least, she thought that she was going to her intended destination. She was simply dragging her feet with her eyes closed. It was definitely not a good idea on the Jounin’s part to pick the time of the meet to be so early. At least not for her, because waking up before known save for during the Academy was not in her forte list. She was more of a night girl than a morning one anyways and would surely have her temper flaring during this meeting should something go wrong.

For now though, she remained chilled and exhausted as she held her right hand out as a sort of guide as she was walking as if she was a zombie towards what she thought was the training grounds, bumping into a good majority of people on the way. Thankfully, many of the villagers didn’t take too much offense of a 12 year old girl so she didn’t get so much as dirty looks from the strangers that she was bumpy into.

As time went on, Ayame’s eyes started to open just a little bit more with each waken second until she could finally see. When she saw what she had seen, she immediately stopped, a blank look creeping into her face as she stared in front of her and then turned her head to look throughout her surroundings then after about 2 seconds, sighed as she placed her hands on her hips. She was standing right in front of the Ramen shop that she always went to pretty much every day for at least one meal and wasn’t even in the direction of the training grounds. Guess she was just that attracted to the place by nature, maybe it was something in her genetics.

After letting out her sigh, Ayame quickly made a resolve that she was late and that there was no way she was going to have Ramen at the moment despite the fact that she was so late in leaving that she forgot to eat breakfast earlier, plus the store was close this early anyways. The only revolution she was going to make now was getting to the team meeting as fast as she could so as not to make her first impression and a bad one.

Finally getting in touch with her urgency, Ayame gained a quick burst of energy, gaining a few looks from the villagers around her as she yelled out “I will not be late!” to complete her self-motivating speech and dashed over to the correct direction of the training grounds with pretty much the opposite speed that she was formerly traveling in, not paying too much attention to who she was bumping into and actually getting a couple of dirty looks this time from going at that speed and causing some pain there.

Once she got sight of the training grounds, Ayame sped up slightly, bumping into someone once again and quickly turning over to apologize, not so much as looking to where she was going as she was running backwards then quickly turned around to see that she was much closer than before and was actually right in front of one of the shinobi in her team that had dark hair (Shihouin) and tried to stopped but her momentum was too much and caused her to crash into him. As she layed there on the floor for a second, Ayame rubbed her head a little bit as she let out a nervous laugh. “Sorry about that, I should look where I’m going” She then stood up and faced her team, one kid with a mark around his nose and a few weapons on him and the old man. She then nodded and gave them a bow “Ayame Akira, at your serv-.” Ayame's eyes then diverted into the tiger that was right next to the one that she figured was the Jounin sensei. She then paused for a bit before suddenly, her girl/overexcited side came out and she couldn't help but say "He's so cute!". She then rushed over to him with amazing speed and immediately started to hug the small tiger.

At the first person had arrived. Kaosu felt a smile inside, but he did not show one. He was glad to see a Genin arrive so early, and it was even better that his pet seemed to already like him. He looked at the Genin. It seemed he had a scar above his nose, and this made Kaosu wonder how he obtained such a nasty looking scary, but he could not ask, because it would had probably brought up some bad memories and that was something Kaosu did not want to deal with. He seemed to ignore that cat, but he wanted to let it do whatever it wanted, because it did not bother him. The cats owner looked a lot shorter than he was, but that was because Kaosu was rather tall for this time and age. This boy also had spiky black hair, much like Kaosu did when he was young. Kaosu waved at the boy as he walked closer. "It is very good to meet you my young boy." He did not speak to the boy after that, because he could hear the next member of the team arriving.

He sighed because he had already met this boy once before and that meeting was not enjoyable. Kaosu knew that this boy was going to speak his mind about their sensei, and he would have to let this one slide, and get him back later. He looked over to Raizo, and was rather glad that he had a genin with some sense of respect for his elders. He hoped that this would last. Soon Shihouin had opened his mouth and began to rub his temples. This was way worse than the time he had first met him. He looked at him and sighed once again. Kaosu did not want to say anything but he knew he had to, so that his other Genin weren't doubting his abilities. "A typically Uchiha, yes you are. Yes, I stopped a Genin, from attacking an S-rank killer, unreasonable." He paused and shook his head at Shihouin. Kaosu hoped that he could finally reach this boy.

A few minutes had passed and the very last member of the team had arrived. It had seemed this was a little girl, she looked a tad younger than the boys. Kaosu hoped the two were mature enough to keep from bullying her. It was nice to see, even if she was just only a minute or so late, that she could still seem polite. He was lucky that he had two out of three, genin that were decent. He looked down at the cat right away, when Ayame said something was cute. He sighed in relief that she was not talking about him. It seemed at least Ayame and Razio would get a long well. "Hello, Ayame, it is nice to meet you. I am Kaosu Aburame." He said with a half smile on his face. It had seemed all his Genin had been here and were ready to train, at the drop of a pen. This made Kaosu happy to see this in his Genin.

Kaosu soon cleared his throat and looked over all of the genin. "I know that things haven't been the greatest in the village. We've seen an attack that hasn't happened for many, among many of years. I am very glad all of you tried to help with such a deadly creature." He paused and looked at the spot where the Bijuu first arrived. "However, I fear something much worst will be on its way, and I do not think we have much time. I've summoned you three here, so you can all learn to better yourself and become much, much stronger." He still held his sword talking to each of them, he had hoped it did not worry them. He put it away and walked slowly closer to each of them. He wanted to see great things from each of them, and he wanted to start training soon, but he could not rush into things. "Alright, seeing as most of us do not know a lot about each other, I want to know a little more than just a face and a name." He paused and cleared his throat. "I want to tell you, a little bit about what kind of jutsu you use and what you want to learn."

"Allow me to go first." He took a hold of his sword and showed it to each of them. "Like my last name applies, I uses insect jutsu for most of my fighting. I use both the types of bugs my clan has, Kikaichū which are good for abusing the enemy and draining their chakra. And Nano bugs, which are deadly bugs that destory the cells of the user. If you are ever hit with these, stop what you are doing and see me. Only I can release them." He took a deep breath from all the talking he had been doing, it was unlike him to talk this much. "I also use Kenjutsu and the wind element." He looked at all three of his Genin. "I wish to learn, how to better teach you three." Kaosu nodded his head after saying this. "Whoever wishes to go next, speak up."

Raizo let his eyes travel around the training grounds as he waited for the other two. There was slight breeze that felt nice and the sun was just starting to get high in the sky. It was still pretty early and most of the citizens of Konohagakure no sato were probably still in their beds, sleeping peacefully. This was how Raizo liked it. There would be minimal distraction from outsiders since most of them were asleep. Raizo came out of his thoughts at the sound of someone else approaching. He turned to look and see who it was and his jaw dropped. It was the same boy he had just been sparring. Sighing,, Raizo waited to find out the boy’s name.

As soon as the boy reached them he didn’t give his name. He didn’t even give a proper greeting. Right off the bat the boy started yelling and fussing at their sensei. Raizo watched with his mouth agape at the disrespect his sensei was being given. Even Ozunu looked surprised and it was hard to pull a surprised look when you were a tiger. Shaking off his surprise, anger started to brew inside Raizo. At first he had thought the boy was an intellectual, someone that had manners and was more respectful. The boy standing in front of him was none of those things. Clenching his fists, Raizo barely refrained from punching the boy. It irked him that someone could talk to their sensei like that.

”This is how you treat a man who has decided to train you when he didn’t have to? I should knock you flat on your ass just for talking to Kaosu-sensei like that.” Raizo shook his head and glared at the boy. ”You make me sick.” The tension in the air could have been cut with a butter knife. Ozunu was growling deep in his throat and his hair was standing on end. The tiger already didn’t like this boy and neither did Raizo. It would take this boy a long time to even gain Raizo’s trust, let alone his respect. Turning away, the Genin shook his head and stared off in space, praying that the next person to arrive would be nothing like this boy.

The sound of pounding feet announced the presence of the last member of their team. Raizo turned just in time to see the girl run straight into the other boy and knock him to the ground. Laughing heartily, Raizo was grinning ear to ear. This girl had changed his mood from pissed to happy in a split second. Even Ozunu seemed to be laughing. There was an odd sound emitting from his throat that Raizo couldn’t explain. Clearing his throat, he stopped laughing abruptly and simply nodded when the girl introduced herself. The Genin thought everything was going to continue like nothing had happened but then the girl launched herself at Ozunu and started hugging him. Raizo grimaced as she called the tiger cute and watched as the animal purred. The big softie. Shaking his head, he returned his attention to his sensei when the man started to speak.

Firstly their sensei started speaking about the recent attack from the Bijuu attack. Raizo’s expression somber as he thought of the lives that were lost that day. Then his sensei spoke of making them stronger in case of another attack that could happen anytime. Raizo stared up at Kaosu-sensei with a glint in his gray eyes and nodded. He needed to get stronger so that he could avenge those that had fallen for Konohagakure. It didn’t matter if he hadn’t been born in the village, it was still his home. Next their sensei went on to ask them to tell him a little about theirselves and then proceeded to tell them a bit about him. Raizo thought it was obvious that the man used bugs due to his name. Nano bugs were something the boy didn’t know about and he intended to learn more about them.

Kaosu passed the sword around in front of them all, indicating that he was a Kenjutsu specialist. That’s when it hit Raizo. He wanted to become a master with the sword so that he could better protect those close to him. Taijutsu was effective but he thought it would be much easier to use a weapon instead. Grinning as his sensei finished up, he cleared his throat and began to speak, “My name is Raizo Shihai, for those of you who weren’t here when I first introduced myself.” With those words he glanced at the other two Genin on his team. ”I specialize in the use of the Raiton jutsu and I can also use the element Ranton. Ranton is an element that combines Raiton and Suiton to make laser like jutsu that twist in turn in the air. I also use Taijutsu but I want to give that up and learn something new from you, Kaosu-sensei.” Pausing here the Genin cleared his throat once more and looked down at his feet. ”I would like to learn Kenjutsu from you if you will take me as your student.” Once he was finished he looked around at his two team mates and gave Ayame a smile and the other boy, who was an Uchiha, a glare. Wonder which one of them will go next?

These fucking ninjas and their fucking feelings. Shihouin hated this shit. He wanted to be like ANBU. A cool collected and powerful ninja which served the village from the shadows. Even though he had feelings for a woman already, he didn't broadcast his shit like everyone else was doing. Fuck this team. He wanted to leave, but he didn't really give a shit about it. He would stay and learn what he could and leave. As long as he got Chuunin, that was the only thing that mattered to him. His new goal of becoming an ANBU was one which was now very well within his grasp if he continued with this team.

Plugging his ears, he didn't want to hear what the Jounin had to say about that day. However, one thing that still existed was his lack of performance. Instead of being a real ninja, he decided that the best way to deal with a possibly S Rank criminal was to talk to them. Shihouin hated shinobi like that. A ninja had to be calm and calculating, not a faggot who spent his time talking to shinobi that could possibly kill him. No matter what Raizo said or what the Jounin said, he still felt that he was a loser.

What made it worse was this new chick who couldn't be any type of ninja. However, Shihouin wasn't caught off guard at all. The moment he felt her get too close, he dipped his shoulder so she would slightly scrape him and end up falling on the ground. Without a word, he turned back to his original position with his hands crossed and his eyes slightly closed. Looking at her for a bit, he couldn't help but say something smart. "The Academy is across this field, and down to the other side of the ramen shop. You won't miss it." Seriously, ninja couldn't keep their balance?

He didnt feel like contributing much. He didn't feel as if he had anything to contribute. He hated talking and all the other pointless shit about expressing feelings and the recent attacks on the village. If he ran the team, his training would be fighting until all of their muscles broke. Whatever though. He had to deal with it until he was strong enough to get on his own. Responding to the comment, he leaned back up against the tree and closed his eyes, ignoring Raizo and the other two. "Uchiha. Fire. Ninjutsu. I want genjutsu."

That was all he needed.

Ayame continued hugging the tiger for a bit as he purred and his fur that was rubbing up against her started vibrating a bit as it responded to his voice rolling like that, giving Ayame a generally warm and good feeling. Normally, Ayame wasn’t really all that sentimental at times and was more aggressive like but she still had estrogen pumping within her veins and was still forced to respond to them even if by automatic. Still, when the older Jounin teacher responded to her arrival, she did catch herself and instantly stood up in a more respectful and professional position, her eye color slowly turning from yellow to a less bright greenish tone.

This level of calmness lasted for about 5-10 seconds give or take before she heard a comment from behind her, giving her directions to the ninja academy. Now, it’s already known that Ayame isn’t the brightest crayon in the box, though hyper as she is at times, but she did know an insult when she heard one and before she knew it, her eyes were starting to grow even darker as they reached into a more bloody tone of red as her sword started to twitch a little against the strap of her back, not that she was in a killing intent mode, well maybe she was but this was just her natural genetics.

As her eyes changed, she remained completely calm for another few seconds before slowly turning around and making her way over towards the boy who had said that. As she walked over in front of his face, she seemed to be taking the insult rather nicely. She even had a slight smile on and her eyes slightly closed. The only thing that was pretty strange about her though was the bloodshot red eyes that were practically glowing. If someone knew her well enough and knew what she inherited, then they’d know that her looks were a lot more deceiving that one would believe.

She kept one her smile however as she closed her eyes. “Well, as much as I love your help, I’m quite fine. I actually just came not too far back from there and ran into a few people on the way. But the next time you have something to say to me, please say it to my face.” Though she appeared to be very chill about it, in her mind, she was translating it to more of a ‘Hey, bitch, you have something to say about my abilities, say to my face instead of acting like a little bitch!’ but that was a different version of her.

Today, she wasn’t too much in the mood to start fights and all of that so she just left it at that for now as a sort of “warning” in a way before she really did have to show her more aggressive side. On that note, she ended it with a short little giggle and turned around in order to see exactly what the Jounin was talking about. It seemed like he wanted to know more about their fighting styles.

Ayame looked around at the boy with the scar across his nose as he started out his explanation Some things were going through her mind as he went on, such as ‘Ran...ton, how does storm work like that exactly?’ and also ‘How can you drop something that you specialize in?’ But most of these questions just sort of blew over as the next one up seemed to be the guy that she bumped into earlier. His words, short, not sweet, and utterly demanding. Did she have to work with him?

Next up and last, but not least on the list was Ayame. She didn’t really understand too much about the intended questions but she answered them in the best of her quality, but she didn’t want to answer like everyone else, just knowing a few abilities and that’s it. If she was going to be in a team, they needed to know more about her than that. “Well, my name is Ayame Akira, my father was an ANBU black ops not too long ago and my mother was a big figure as well at one point in her career. I come from the Akira clan of Konoha, which is led by my grandfather, who is a high ANBU as well. I come from a clan that’s based mainly on Kenjutsu so…” Ayame then took hold of her sword handle and pulled it out a little before resheathing it. “That is my sword, which is named Hana Keikoku and it’s pretty much a part of me as my left hand” She laughed a little “And that’s pretty much all there is to the future 3rd female Hokage.” Ayame had to admit that it was a bit of a stretch but that was just how she was.

After Kaosu asked the three the question that he did, he had no idea what to expect from each of them. They all seemed very different, and he thought their answers would be just the same. He had hoped that what they wanted was well in his ability to teach them. He turned to Raizo as he began to speak. It was good to hear that Kaosu had someone in his team with a very rare type of element. He always wondered what it would be like to be able to wield an advance element such as that, but he was happy with his insects. He was glad to hear that he wanted to learn something that Kaosu had been known for doing. Kenjutsu was one of the things he had used the most. It looked it was going to be easy with this boy, because he wanted to learn something Kaosu knew well, and he was rather polite about things. He nodded as he spoke more about his element, and finally asked Kaosu a question. This made Kaosu shake his at the boy. "Boy, of course I will teach you. What kind of question are you asking." He said as he towered over Raizo. He soon patted his head and stepped back. "I will teach you anything that I can in my power."

Next to speak was Shihouin, he seemed to think that the last member of the team was still in the academy, this made him slightly angry with the boy, but he did not show anything. "Shihouin, from now on, you keep your mouth shut, if you cannot say anything nice, do I make myself clear?" Shihouin had said little after that. He pretty much said everything Kaosu needed to know in two breaths. He was a little disappointed that he did not wish to be involved with the other Genin. All he wanted was to get stronger and get out. Kaosu did not think a shinobi should live this kind of life. It seemed he wanted to learn Genjutsu. Kaosu knew that he could have fun with this one, because to understand Genjutsu one must live one to really know how one works. Kaosu did not know which one he would use on him, but he had hoped this would teach him a lesson. He nodded at Shihouin and walked towards him. "I shall teach you the ways of Genjutsu. I know much about that skill." He turned back around and looked towards his last Genin, Ayame.

He was sure that she would have snapped back at Shihouin, but that was not the case. She was very kind to him, which seemed rather odd to him. Kaosu thought it was only because he was there, but he could have been wrong. It seemed good, that she could hide her true feelings and would come in handy as a shinobi. She soon spoke about her family and soon a face had popped into his head. He had known he had heard the last name from somewhere. Although he did not hear it much, it must have been her father, because Kenji was the only Akira in the Anbu, young enough to have a kid the age of Ayame. He smiled at her, but he did not wish to say anything, because her father had left the village some time ago. He walked closer to her, as she finished speaking. It would be easier on Kaosu know that two of his students wanted to focus one kenjutsu for the time being. It seemed that Ayame already knew a little bit and wanted to better herself in that art of fighting. She was always hopeful of become the Hokage one day, which he was glad to hear. "Ayame, you shall learn to better yourself in an art you are already familiar with. You and Raizo will be training together." He paused for a moment and turn to Razio. "I hope you are okay with this." He said and then turned back to Ayame. "And now that I cannot promise you will become Hokage, I will do everything I can to help that dream come true."

He then walked back to the rock he had sat on when he first arrived at the training grounds. He pointed to all three of the Genin and sat down. "You three, I need to know one last thing before we really start training. I will need to know, where you really stand, as a shinobi." He stood up and appeared behind the three of them. "You will each spar each other, a free for all battle. I want you to use everything you have learned, up until this point to take your opponent down. The winner will go on to something special, while the others begin what they wish to train." He paused and walked in front of them. "If one of you gets too crazy and even thinks about killing your opponent or harming them to the point, of where they are no longer the same. I will stop the fight then and there. This is not a match to see who is the strongest, this is to let me see where you stand as a shinobi." He walked back to the stone. "I will be here, once everyone has told me they are ready will then, and only start, when I say so." He paused and let them prepare, for the free for all ahead of them. "Good luck to all of you."

OOC: We'll pretend like Nono never posted.

Sigh. "Whatever, I'll say what I want, when I want." Shihouin couldn't care too much for the Jounin or this team. Now it seemed like they were going to get to actually do something, but he didn't feel like fighting anyone here. He couldn't keep showing off his battle style to his opponents. The chances that he would get someone from the same team in the Chuunin Exam would be extremely low, but there was always that chance there. He guess that he would have to sacrifice his needs this time and just deal with it. Sparring, battle, combat, he was good at it and as long as he could learn he would be fine.

However, he wasn't so sure about this girl. She didn't seem strong and Shihouin sort of wanted to train his close range combat up and get his speed up. With his Sharingan, if he focused on the core elements of ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu he would be a worthy opponent to anyone. He really wanted to fight the Jounin however, even though he knew he wasn't strong enough. If he could just test his weight against the Jounin in battle, he might be able to determine his current strength level and how he should get stronger and what areas he should grow in.

Shihouin turned towards the girl and separated from her. In the clearing, he backed up to about eight meters away from her, so they were both situated in a good range to start their attacks. He didn't feel like fighting today, but if he could get a shot at fighting an S Rank Jounin, he couldn't turn it down. Even though they were a small team, it was crucial that they learn everything about each other. "Come on, I don't have time to waste. Let's fight." Shihouin drew a kunai in his hand and began to prepare himself for the fight.

As Ayame took a smile and nodded as Kaosu gave his word that he was going to help her achieve her goal of Hokage one day, something that had been tracked into her mind since pretty much the day she understood what a Hokage was. She knew that by becoming strong and being one of the top shinobi in existence that she was going to make an impact and prove to the world about the power of a kunoichi within the boundaries of the code of shinobi. That was etched into her mind but she did know that it was going to be a long way over there.

Nevertheless, her thoughts at the moment were revolving around what would be happening here and now. As Kaosu went over to sit on a rock and continue explaining what Ayame would assume to be the agenda for the day, she took it upon herself to fold her legs and sit on the grass while detaching her ninja pouch from her waist and checking what was in there to maybe come up with some ideas early on before the start of the day’s training so she started off by taking a hold a few basic weapons and putting some thoughts to her head.

After a few seconds though, Ayame was brought back into reality once she had heard the word “spar” and instantaneously brought her head up to see just what h was talking about. Apparently, he wanted them do put up what they had in order to show what they were going to be bringing to the table. An interesting turn of events, she wasn’t expecting the team to go at each other on the first day of meeting so this had Ayame in a bit of a surprised state for a second.

Once he was finished with his sentence, Ayame took a second to put away all her tools and stand up so she could place her pouch on her side, which was a little difficult due to the fact that she was wearing a skirt at the moment. ‘Bad idea to wear a skirt on a windy day to training…’ she thought to herself as she finally latched the pouch onto her waist before the wind could cause more difficulty Her entire attire was probably questionable to wear at a time like this to be honest, but she was practically still sleeping when she picked out her outfit so this was pretty much her fault anyways.

Once she was pretty much prepared, Ayame simply turned around and looked over towards her combatant. She had to say that she didn’t appreciate his attitude towards her or the Jounin, but she was still a bit too tired to get too upset about it so she rubbed her neck as she turned her head to the left and the right, cracking noises following her movements as she prepared for this spar by doing a few stretches. Once she was pretty good, she spoke out. “Ready.”

The moment she said ready, Shihouin had already been moving towards her direction. While running, he kept his left hand at bay to prepare himself just in case he needed it, but he kunai at his right for obvious offense and defensive reason. For some reason, he felt that he didn't need to worry about her ninjutsu skills, but even if she started using ninjutsu in the fight he could react well enough to her movements by keeping his eyes on her.

He wasn't running full out but he wasn't running slow either. It was a good enough pace to where he could surprise her with his speed, but not to the pace where she would be forced to go on the defensive. Shihouin couldn't use ninja tools and the forest to his advantage forever. If he wanted to continue to grow stronger, he would have to find other means of combat. Direct combat, hand to hand would definitely be one of them. With the Sharingan, there was no way he could ignore the obvious uses of hand to hand skill. However, he would have to train without his Sharingan, and he couldn't grow dependent on it.

The meters were shrinking, eight, seven, six, five... What would she do? Her reaction could play either to his advantage or disadvantage. Either way, he began to prepare his next move set, both mentally and physically as he watched her body. He didn't need the Sharingan to see her move, but her choice of movement would be crucial. Should he close, he would strike.

Once it seemed like the stage was set, Ayame was already pretty much prepared. Seemed like her opponent was very hyper to get started because Kaosu didn’t even officially start the match yet. Didn’t really matter though because she liked things to get started in a hurry, she wasn’t like one of those types that premeditated everything, sometimes, the best things can just come at you from the top of your head.

The first move that Ayame made was bending over a bit forward while jumping as she continued on with her left leg and her right hand, using her heel to kick the bottom of the sheath with a good amount of force and making sure she had a good angle as her right hand circled around the handle so it didn’t misdirect by any means. She was pretty strong for her age (And gender) so with her angle, the sword would then shoot forward in front of her towards the rushing advisory. So in summary, she performed a front flip while kicking the sword so it would launch itself towards Shihouin.

Ayame didn’t really expect too much from that little display other than a few seconds to get something else going as she pulled in both her hands a little a popped open the ninja pouch on her left side real quick, digging in for a little while before taking out a kunai and reading her stance into more stable position, keeping her middle finger in the hole of the kunai handle.

He continued to run at his set pace, watching his opponent make her move. She seemed to be a kenjutsu user, but even Shihouin who didn't care much for swords doubted her skill. He carried one on him, but didn't plan on using it with skill, but rather its sharpness. Focusing on her move set, he held the kunai in his hand in a perfect position to attack or defend, just as he had planned to before the fight had even started. Already, he was in a position to make a fatal blow on his opponent.

Since he was running in a linear fashion at a rate of speed that wasn't high, he had the ability to move and react. However, his opponent would find trouble with this. The moment her line of sight went below Shihouin's arms, she'd given him the perfect advantage to attack. He would throw the kunai at her in that same moment, purposefully avoiding the sword. Essentially, the moment she came back up to where she could see Shihouin, the kunai would be extremely close to her face and he doubted she could escape. A front flip in that way had made everything worse for her. Her face would come up and meet the kunai head on because of her flip. She wouldn't be able to see that attack coming until it was too late, since she lost the advantage of slight by choosing to flip.

Dodging the sword however would be the best counter for now. He simply continued running forward, but moved to the right, his opponents left, and dodged the attack. Preparing himself with a kunai in hand and focusing on his move set, he would continue moving towards her, but would now be extremely close. Depending on how she reacted to the kunai that could possibly stab her between the eyes, he would be in a perfect position to make a close range attack.

The moment Ayame let her eyes leave her opponent’s upper body, she was staring at the ground directly before his feet. There was a particular reason for this because she knew that once she had taken her eyes off of him, he could probably strike, fighters like him just couldn’t ignore it, but thankfully, she had that at least more or less covered. The reason she was staring at the ground with such precision for just that second was to see what moves his shadow would make and sure enough it did. He didn’t really pay all that much at the shadow’s movement as much as the other shadow coming from it and Ayame cold only guess what that was.

Now there was the thing about countering/dodging that kunai. It wasn’t really that it was much of a problem, it was just that she was a bit tempted to just catch it through the whole like she’s seen her grandfather and father do on occasion but she wasn’t that much of a cocky brat to try that just yet, though she was confident that she could probably do it, but probably wasn’t good enough in the battlefield.

Having slight prior knowledge of the upcoming danger, Ayame allowed the flip to complete mainly but she allowed her head to tilt back and just long enough for the kunai to zip passed her, unclenching her formerly clenched right hand, a flash of light leaving it for a second. Also, a flash of light coming from her left hand as the tip of the kunai was tilted between the ground and in front of her, her hand pulling back a little with each second though she was still looking directly at the bottom of the kunai as it continued on and zipped passed her.

Since he'd been trying to forcibly create this situation, Shihouin was at the advantage because he was continuously moving closer. His position as prepared last time, would allow him to make a strike at his opponent since he'd prepared his move set directly for this. The kunai thrown at his opponents face was thrown to create an opening. In her situation, she would have to create the perfect amount of time to dodge the attack due to the small time frame she had. This time needed, essentially would create an opening due to the fact that Shihouin had manipulated it.

Kaosu would probably try to jump in, but he wouldn't have the time to. Since Shihouin had prepared this move before, all he had to do was execute it. The kuani was thrown, and the moment before she would come up to meet the kunai, the technique was performed. Essentially, at the moment before she tried to dodge the kunai and let it pass in the air over her head in her flip would be the same moment a fireball would come directly at her. Being in mid-flip and mid-dodge would make the Goukakyuu near impossible to dodge. Not to mention that Shihouin was within at least two to three meters range of his opponent and the technique itself was exceptionally wider than that and would move towards her.

In his mind, dodging at this point was impossible for anyone. Her feet would not be positioned well on the ground enough to move, and his attack struck at the moment she threw her head back to let the kunai pass, so her sight range was not on Shihouin, but up in the air. Even if she did see it coming, the fireball's speed at such a close range would be impossible for her, especially at D rank to dodge. It would hit her and probably cause second degree burns on her body, though Shihouin expected a kawarimi. He would still supplement this technique and prepare his next move, using tools and keeping his hands together, ready to move as well.

Ok, lesson of the day, learn some elemental Ninjutsu cause they really do help out in situations such as these and many other situations in the modern shinobi world. This has been an Ayame Akira broadcast and I approve this message. Back to reality, Ayame probably had about a second or two to think of what to do next once she had seen what she had seen, she didn’t even have time to sigh, much less think of how this was probably a very bad situation for her considering the fact that her Ninjutsu skills… down to the ground so there goes any possible hope for a counter attack.

The only thing right now to do was a Substitution, but there was something that Ayame needed to try out. Due to the fact that Ayame was bent backwards a bit, she had to force her back to title a little to gain the altitude, causing a few items to escape her ninja pouch, including a smoke bomb which would activate as soon as they hit the ground causing a pile of smoke to blow up right before she utilized the substitution jutsu in order to get out of the way.

But now, there was a puff of smoke covering both of the young ninja and Ayame had a little thing set up that may or may not pull an advantage towards her. Once she had substituted, Ayame had a little trap set up on it involving 3-4 explosion tags in the back of it that were already 3 quarters burnt off from past accidents that she was barely able to fix, way from the fireball’s direction. This making it so her opponent wouldn’t be able to see the tags and if he heard the burning of the tags, it’d give the illusion that he had 4 times the amount of time he had to react than he really did.

Using the smoke that had gave itself off from the bomb that accidentally activated from her pouch combining itself with Kawarimi, Ayame had the chance to pick up Hana (Her sword) which wasn’t too far away since her intended target area wasn’t covering much distance. At the moment, her sword was stabbed into the ground and she seemed to be messing with a nin wire and getting it through the hole then tying it around. Due to her incredibly well eyesight, Ayame still had a good look at where her opponent was while the windy nature was already starting to clear out the smoke. There was also yet quick flash on her right side.

Just like the entire time, Shihouin's move set relied on him continuously moving. He had been doing that since the fight started and would not stop moving. If he'd stopped for one moment, he would open himself up to a chance of attack, which would make things a hell of a lot worse for him. He was going to supplement the attack, he had the ability to and since the opponent would have to react to this, whether or not it hit log or person, he would still move. What happened was simple. Right after he'd taken the time to perform the technique, he would keep moving.

The unexpected explosion and smoke wouldn't be a bother, he would sprint and never be caught with the grasp of his flames. This was thanks to the fact that the opponent had chose to kawarimi and attack at the same time. The Goukakyuu was large enough to eat up most of the blast and since it was well within its attack range, it would explode and fizzle out, all behind Shihouin who continued to move. The attack would be pushed away since his Goukakyuu could travel forwards and would continue to do so before it exploded. Like before, Shihouin had prepared to supplement this attack.

He hoped Kaosu was watching. As he kept moving and avoided the opponents attack, he slowed to a stop and turned his Sharingan on while attacking at the same time. The Housenka is to shuriken as Goukakyuu is to what? The answer would obviously be a bigger shuriken. Pulling on the wire that his opponent had no chance of seeing before, the giant shuriken he'd hidden within the flames swing around. With his Sharingan, he could easily spot the opponent in the forest as he gave the entire area a quick scan by slowing down to see. The shuriken fired off towards her direction, moving as needed to dodge the branches and trees in its way. While controlling the wire from his position in the clearing, he would attack her with the heated and fast moving giant shuriken.

No doubt she would be prepared for this technique, she would be able to see him swing the giant shuriken around to her position and come towards her. He had the wire for it, range wasn't an issue. He grabbed a kunai in his left hand and held it there while he continue to keep both of his hands close. It was obvious that he could prepare hand signs at any minute, but he prepared his move set anyways and kept his body in a position to attack and or defend.

Ayame was starting to grow tired of this long-mid range crap. It was getting all too boring and there seemed to be too much thinking involved instead of just all out fighting and instinct, which was more her style anyways. All these strategies for her was just… blah, but it wasn’t like she was going to just give up or anything. She just needed to find a way to get this stupid game of tag into more of a direct and less subtle approach so she was going to have to think of a quick plan as well as a back-up waiting, as hypocritical as that sounded based on the earlier statement.

For now though, she was going to deal with the upcoming threat known as an oversized shuriken coming at her. Though it’s only been say about a few minutes, Ayame could tell that this wasn’t all there is to what he was planning, despite the fact that he had the shuriken literally connected to his fingertips, but there was just something that was running through her gut, telling her that there was more to this, and she was pretty sure that it wasn’t just her stomach telling her it’s hungry.

Just then, her stomach growled a little, causing her to take a hold of it for a second. ‘Or maybe it is just telling me to grab a bite to eat.’ Her mind couldn’t focus on that right now, she had to stay focused on what’s at hand. Or what was soon to be in her face as she took a step forward to start her dash towards the shuriken that was coming for her after placing her blade in her sword sheath, which was strapped to the left side of her waist and leaving her kunai in her pouch. She had to be careful though because being too far would just make it pretty easy for her opponent to simply turn it towards her direction, but being too close had a pretty obvious, equally bad outcome on her part.

While Ayame continued on running, she took a deep breath until she was exactly she needed to be to avoid being caught by the blades in such short time. Once she was in position, Ayame jumped over the Shuriken and on top of a branch and continued on to take a few hops, not too many since she couldn’t cover all that much distance just based on a Kawarimi. Another interesting thing was that there was a trap a good distance behind her right before she jumped, though it was meant for her opponent should he come himself, it didn’t matter too much since it was obvious he wasn’t looking for close range battle.

The trap behind her was set up to that as soon as the wire that was vertically set-up would be cut, then a huge tree trunk would be raining down in the shinobi’s face, though in this case, it would be the shuriken’s. Though that she was pretty sure that the shuriken, the trap’s design plus the positioning of the shuriken would probably at least trap the wires so the “puppeteer” wouldn’t have control over anymore.

Even after those precautions, Ayame still kept her senses open as she took a quick dip in her ninja pouches on the way of the opening and gave a quick targeted shot of 3 shuriken and 1 kunai right behind them over the her opponent’s direction, keeping her momentum going. Should he attempt at a dodge, she was already prepared with two more kunai that would be launch as soon as he was out of range for first 3 shuriken and kunai.

Game over. This is exactly how he needed the stage set to perform his attacks. She was well aware of how he was baiting her, but she would not expect this. He would go all-out and end the fight. If Kaosu didn't jump in, she would die. He hoped that he was keeping an eye on the situation and what Shihouin was about to do.

For an Uchiha to be messing with shuriken, one thing could be expected. With wires on both shuriken, the shadow shuriken technique would be easy to perform in this situation. However, Shihouin was supplementing his attacks and he wasn't playing around. With his two tomoe still on, he kept a watchful eye on his opponent and began to read her movements, searching for an opening. This would take careful manipulation and planning, but Shihouin was 100% confident that this would be the end.

There! The moment she moved towards the shuriken was the same moment the shuriken revealed itself. The same moment she dashed towards it, the Kage Bunshin henge would prepare hand signs and launch the technique while she was busy trying to jump over what she thought was just one shuriken. At that moment in mid-jump, the hand signs would be complete and he would launch his Sanjuu Honoo, letting the other shuriken by pass into the forest where it would be of further use later on.

With a second Kage Bunshin with a tool, they would prepare for the onslaught of shuriken and deflect them. Using the Sharigan it would be easy to pay attention to detail and react accordingly, though Shihouin would start moving again so he wasn't targeted by all of the shuriken. He would sprint in a diagonal forward to keep from running directly into his opponent and the Kage Bunshin would follow up and prepare for its next task.

Kaosu was amazed at how skillful his Genin were at the time. He was glad that he had such skillful genin, that he did not have a lot of work to do, on his hands, as far as helping them learn what they already knew. It would have been much better if his last Genin could show up, but now it was not the case. He stood up because he knew things were about to go crazy. He sighed because the Uchiha, had been getting out of hand from the start of the match. It wasn't enough that he would use one B-rank jutsu, but he had to use another one, just to make sure that his attack would work. He was impressed that a Genin could already use to B-ranks and still keep fighting, but it wasn't needed at the time, because it was clear who won this match from the first move each of them made. Kaosu wasn't looking down on Ayame, but he knew that using only kenjutsu was not a good way to win a battle, unless the person was insanely good with a sword. He sighed and began to walk over to the two, before the final attack hit.

Kaosu began to hold Ayame close to him, after forming a few hand seals. Soon, thousands of insects circled around the two of them, and formed a wall like shelter around them. The fire was put out as soon as it hit the insects. Also the several objects that were thrown at Ayame, where stopped before they could harm her. Inside the insects, Kaosu let go of Ayame and soon the bugs wnet back inside of Kaosu's cloak. He glared at Shihouin and walked over to him. Soon, several bugs came out of Kaosu and circled Shihouin and his clone. "You make one move and you will be covered in thousands of bugs. That is not something you want, I can guarantee that." He looked over to Ayame and nodded. "You did very well, and we will help you become even stronger than you were before." Kaosu walked closer to Shihouin and smiled. He was rather proud of him, even though the two still seemed to be on the wrong foot with one another.

"My boy, you did a wonderful job. After we train, I want to know where you learned those jutsu." He said and looked back at Ayame. "Now, that is all said in done, it is time for you both to know what secret I was keeping for the winner." He paused and moved his sunglasses down so the two of them could see the tops of his eyes. "Shihouin since you are the victor, you will be first to start of your jutsu of choice training." He stopped and looked at Ayame. "You will go next, or rather almost the same time, because of what Shihouin wants to learn." He turned back to Shihouin and allowed his bugs to come back into his cloak. Kaosu put his sunglasses back over his eyes. "Shihouin to understand how to use Genjutsu, you must know how one works. The easiest way to do this, is to try and break out of one. I will put you under a high level Genjutsu and you will try to break it. If you cannot break it within thirty minutes, I shall set you free." He said with a half smile on his face. "Look into my sunglasses." Kaosu said as he began making hand seals.

Soon, Kaosu's sunglasses made a flash bright light, after he was finished with the hand seals. Kaosu had put his most poweful Genjutsu on the boy, so he knew what they felt like right from the start. Kaosu may had been a little harsh, but he knew that most ninja would do no less. He soon turned to Ayame and nodded his head. "He will be under that for the whole thirty minutes, I can already tell you that much." Kaosu then took his sword out and used his hand to motion Ayame to come at him with all she got. "You said you wished to train with Kenjutsu, I will help you, come at me with all your might." He said with his sword held, guarding his face. He was hopeful that she already knew a little bit about what she was going.

Sunglasses? Hmm? Shihouin's gaze instinctively wandered into Kaosu's sunglasses and his eyes were caught up in the tiny black frames. Little did he know, he had been caught at that moment, but noting so far had changed. "What? Do what?" He was sorely confused and had no idea what was going on. He thought he was going to be learning about genjutsu so he could create his own, what would looking into sunglasses to do help that? As far as Shihouin was concerned, this guy was still nothing and didn't have any real strength about him. Shihouin believed that with just his eyes alone, he would surpass him by miles.

The sun was getting hotter than normal. Shihouin could deal with the sun seeing that he was out in it most of the time in an attempt to get his body costumed to diverse weather. However, this sun was hotter than normal. Not only was it intensely hot, the beaming rays of the sun seemed to pelt his body. It was as if the whole sun were drawing closer and closer to him. His skin began to turn red and the ache of pain crossed his face. It was at that moment, he realized he was trapped.

Fire began to burst all around him, like geysers shooting into the air. The area began to burn in an intense heat and the flames began to lick everywhere on Shihouin's body. He started to burn. For a genin, he could deal with the flames to a certain extent. This was thanks to Sanzen who had burned him before with an A Ranking technique. He suffered second degree burns and still lived to see another day. It was because of that moment that he had become stronger. So Shihouin would not give up. No matter how loudly he began to cry out, no matter how hot the flames grew, he would endure it. It was obvious that this was an extremely high ranking genjutsu, but Shihouin would press on.

He thought he could endure it all, but the flames just got hotter and hotter. He figured that since he'd been tempered to these types of flames in real life that he would be OK in this, but he was severely underestimating the heat. Usually, when pain hits in intense levels, the longer the person endures it the longer the body can react to it. In that case, the Pain receptors stop functioning and the person no longer feels pain. It doesn't mean they can move about, it simply means that the threshold for pain has gotten to a point where it is high enough to not be felt. However this wasn't happening. Every pain receptor in his body flared and continued to work, even though at this point, Shihouin had stopped crying out and was now crying in a puddle of his own tears. He felt like committing suicide.

'These flames.... You are an Uchiha boy.'

Shihouin tried to look in the distance to see what was coming. The flames were too high. He tried to move, but his burnt muscles and body were not letting him

'These flames are akin to warm summer sun...'

He could see it. That thing again. That mask it was getting closer yet he could not run. It was as if he were a sinner in hell and Satan was slowly approaching him.

'Yet you are sitting in them, dying. Hmpf. You have so much latent potential and talent sitting with in your body. I am not even discussing your eyes at this point. To my knowledge, you are the first Uchiha to attempt to train without his eyes.'

Mother. Father. His lips began to tremble and his legs suddenly began to move. Despite the burn left on them when he tried to move, he kept moving. Just like last time, he would finish him off like he did mother and father. Shihouin didn't want to die.

'Oooh. You scramble in fear of your life, yet you do not even have the strength to face me. I commend you however for trying to kill that girl. You could've killed her if it weren't for that Jounin. How do you feel about that? Are you able to kill?'

It was practically standing over the top of him now. That pale eerie skin, that mask, those sharp claws and feet. Shihouin mustered a few words from his mouth. "Go... Go away...!"

'Give me your life boy, and I will save you from this hell. Decline and you will surely die.'

"No!" Shihouin stood up on two feet, despite the surge of pain it took to stand up. He opened his real eyes at his opponent, his final eyes and stared him eye to eye in the face. His eyes were complete, at least at this stage and the power he had gained would give him strength.

'Hmpf. You have unlocked something that will bring you pain. For it is those eyes which grant either peace or darkness to the Uchiha. The splendor of peace or the power of the darkness. Which one will you choose?'

After those words the flames began to subside down. From its body, an odd blood red power began to leak on the ground, pushing away the flames that covered his body. The ribbons of energy broke the flames away and everything began to cool down though Shihouin still felt an immense amount of pain. The body before him began to warp and break away, along with the genjutsu that he was stuck in. The cool feeling of wind rushed over his body as the genjutsu finished, leaving Shihouin on the ground in a puddle of his own sweat and tears. Since Ayame and Kaosu were training, they might not notice him.

He struggled to get up, but was silent. Each and every muscle trembled in his body and he failed to maintain a steady balance or strength level. The pain in his body was still coming down, but it was unbelievably high. While Ayame and Kaosu were worried about swords, Shihouin would reach up behind his back. He would attempt to tap his shoulder, but would collapse on his back and fall unconscious. It was over for him today.

OOC: The genjutsu didn't end early even though it seems like I madde it. Even though the RP was short in terms of length, the RP endures the whole thirty minutes of pain.

Ayame had to admit, this scene was a bit fast. It wasn’t that she could handle it, it was just that she pretty had experienced about 5-6 events happen in oh so about 2-4 seconds, a personal record for her. You could already say that Ayame wouldn’t really expect a clone. I regular clone, yeah, but that wasn’t a regular clone. In the class, regular clones were pretty much as see through as paper, but this one was oh so much different. It didn’t seem like just an illusion of sorts, but rather it was a real clone.

In all honesty, she hadn’t seen that done very often, it was actually only done once to her knowledge. It was done by her father a when she saw him in action once, but she never really caught the name of it. She had asked if she could learn it from him a while back but he simply responded that “she wasn’t ready for that kind of technique yet”, that he would train her sometime in the future. But she didn’t really see that happening anymore so what was the point. She knew that all was lost at the point anyways so she didn’t even bother try anymore counter attacks.

Well, that goes two of those five or six events, or was it three? Anyways, Event #3(Or 4) was the immense number of insects that were soon to surround the entire area, causing Ayame’s vision to be temporarily obscured and she seemed to be covered by something. She wasn’t really paying too much attention to the outside world of reality though, she was moreover lost in her own mind, thinking of such things like jutsu and mainly what’s been on her mind for quite some time. Just getting stronger and stronger. Not necessarily doubting herself but disappointed in the fact that her first lost was her first match.

"He will be under that for the whole thirty minutes, I can already tell you that much." “Huh, what?” Ayame was brought back into reality somewhat by the sound of a voice directing itself towards her. Ayame looked towards Shihouin as he seemed to be sweating all of a sudden and acting like he was burning, but it really wasn’t that hot out. The sun was pretty warm but the temperature couldn’t be exceeding 80 degrees so this behavior coming from him didn’t really seem to make sense to her.

‘Could that be Genjutsu?’ She wasn’t really sure since she hadn’t really seen it in action, but she did remember it as one of the three basics of a shinobi early in the academy. That subject was changed however when Kaosu seemed to be challenging her to better her swordplay abilities. She responded to that with a confused expression for just about less than a second until she reached over across her waist and unsheathed Hana Keikoku. But instead of attacking, she stabbed it into the ground, she wanted to get something out in the air before anything.

“The thing is though that I never really said that I wanted to train Kenjutsu. Not saying that I don’t like it, it’s been pretty much a part of me my entire life, but that’s just it. I’ve been training Kenjutsu nonstop and I think it’s time to extend my range a bit. Like I’ve always wondered what it’d be like to use weapons other than a sword or even learn some elemental Ninjutsu and some other things.” She then took a hold of her handle and pulled the sword out of the ground. “But I’ve never been on to back down from a challenge so…” After just that pause Ayame shook her sword out a bit to warm herself up. “If you wanna still go, that’s fine by me.” She said with a battle ready smile.

Kaosu put his sword down and looked at Ayame. It was a good thing that she wanted to learn something else other than how to use a sword. He was interested in what type of element she could use. He had hoped she used the same element he had. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a piece of paper. This paper was very tiny and was used to tell a shinobi what kinds of elements they could use. He walked over to Ayame and held the piece of paper in front of here. "I am glad that you wish to learn something other than kenjutsu. It will come in handy to know more than one way to fight. We will start you off with elemental training." He paused and pointed to the piece of paper. "This paper will tell you what kind of element you can use. Once you focus your chakra, the paper will do one of five things. If your element if fire, the paper will burn." He paused to look over at Shihouin, because he had mentioned something about fire, and it made him kind of worried. Kaosu may have been a little too harsh on him, but he hoped that this would teach the boy a little bit about respect. Something he needed to learn for a very long time.

Kaosu turned back to Ayame and nodded. "Now, the rest of the elements. For wind, the paper will split into two. Lighting will crumple up the paper. Earth will turn the paper to dirt and crumble. And water will make the paper damp." He handed her the piece of paper and nodded at her. "Now, just put all your chakra into the piece of paper and we will go from there." He stopped and looked back over at Shihouin. It had seemed he was out cold. Kaosu sighed and walked over to the boy and picked him up. "It seems he has already passed out. I guess that is one way to break a Genjutsu." He knew it was too much for the boy and it would take him sometime to recover. Kaosu had hoped he had gotten something out of this training. He would at least know how Genjutsu worked. "Ayame, you work on that while I deal with him." He walked over to a tree, with plenty of shade and sat down Shihouin.

He looked at him to see if anything had gone horrible wrong and then pulled out some water from inside his cloak. He splashed it on, hoping that it will help him wake up. He walked back over to Ayame and watched her as she began putting chakra into the piece of paper. He had hoped it would slice in half, so he could teach her at least one wind jutsu. Had it burned up, he knew that he could count on Shihouin to teach her fire jutsu. Otherwise, he would have to seek out scrolls to teach her. He awaited to see the outcome.

Once Kaosu sheathed his sword, Ayame grew a little bit confused, wasn’t he interested in fighting just now? Once he started talking, Ayame loosened up her stance a little bit as she pointed her blade at the left side of her waist and stabbed into the sheath on it, taking it from her waist and returning it back over her right shoulder and letting it rest on her back in its usual spot. Ayame then looked at the piece of paper that he had in front of her, wondering what he wanted her to do with it, take notes to learn better? Because that was not part of her forte in the academy and she doubted that she was any better at it now.

She became relieved though as he began to mention the properties of the paper, glad she didn’t have to do any actual writing. Seemed that all she had to do was put some chakra into it, seemed easy enough. Just as the mentioned what would happen if the paper burnt up, he took a look over into the direction of Shihouin, causing her to instinctively follow suit out of curiosity. Didn’t seem like he was taking that Genjutsu that entire well. He was sweating like a beast, his skin was starting to turn red, he was muttering to himself, just what was going through that mind of his?

Her short attention span caused her to pretty much forget about it as Kaosu started talking more about the piece of elemental paper. He then handed her the paper, which she quickly took, a little eager to try it out and see what her natural element was. Before he even told her to start, she was already trying it out, focusing as much chakra as she could into the paper to see what it would do.

As she started concentrating, she started to become a little frustrated that it wasn’t going as fast as she thought it would have went. She still went on though, putting both of her hands on it as she squeezed on the paper, giving it as much chakra as she could. This went on for about 35-40 seconds until it finally sliced in half right in her hands. She then held the half sheet of paper in her left hand as she dangled it around. She was more or less hoping for something like lightning but wind was n’t a bad choice in itself.
