Spoiler:

Ever since his recent fight with Nasa, Shihouin found himself back deep within the ghettos of another complex within the village. It was right to think that Nasa would visit the weapons shop again, and he was also right to think that she might go searching for him in all of the previous places he lived in. He had a new job this time, one that actually paid a bit more than his old job with the weapons smith. It was the same type of job, just at a different shop where people seemed to visit less. She wouldn’t catch him there, his hours were scattered throughout the week and he never knew when he would even work from day today. Yet, he could stop thinking about what might happen to her. Surely, pretending to kill her might have saved his life, but what if his father found out that he had actually failed to kill her? Would he go after her? Questions he wanted answered were still ambiguous as ever, unclear with uncertainty. He couldn’t help but hope that she was angry at him; he wanted her to stay away from him forever, for her own good, to stay away from the violence that his father loved to breed.

He had taken a risky mission today; hopefully he wouldn’t spot her on accident. It was a rather urgent one, twelve rabid dogs had forced a lady up a tree and they needed someone to get the dogs and keep the lady safe. He hadn’t been too far away from Chuunin Level, so hopefully if he could get this mission done he could get there quicker. His mind fell on Nasa again, she was probably going to do the same thing. He kept feeling this odd sensation, like there were two large hands behind his back, pushing him in some direction, seemingly pushing him in the direction of Nasamea. It wasn’t quick, it was more of a slow subtle feeling, as if the hands of fate had gripped them and would eventually send them clashing in front of one another. Dealing with her beast form at a stronger level would mean trouble, but then again, Shihouin hadn’t even tapped the power in his eyes, nor had he even developed half of his potential in them. Thinking about his father, he wondered whether he should give into that greed and accept his fate as an Uchiha. Or would he follow a different path and regain the love he lost for her.

Walking out of his apartment, he shook the thoughts from his head as he blinked hard and began to make his way towards the mission. The lady had been trapped in the park, so time was crucial. The dogs were possibly all rabid, so he couldn’t get bitten by any one of them unless he wanted some type of new disease to carry around. The rooftops granted him easy speed and no traffic with a jump up on some of the buildings and a quick sprint; the arrival didn’t take long. His apartment had been secluded, yet right in the center of everything, and hidden from plain sight as if it were the sidewalk itself. With a quick flash of his Sharingan, Shihouin was able to take everything in, there were exactly thirteen chakra signatures, including the woman. He wondered if he should call out to her to warn her that she was here, but then again, she had been fine as she was. No doubt she was scared to death, but making the situation worse was the last thing that he wanted to do. He needed her in a position where he could keep his focus on the dogs and the dogs focus on her.

The problem now was a way to subdue the animals without harming them, and then get them to the local shelter. His surroundings were not helping him much; the park was too open and wide, even though there was no one else in the park. He could distract the dogs and give time for the woman to flee, but then there was the chance that the dogs might not be interested in him as the woman was. At any rate, thinking was taking too long; the only way he could do this is if he started right now. The plan he had was riskly, but it was probably the only thing he could think of at the moment. Perched in the roof top, Shihouin removed both of his nin-pockets and dug in them quickly. Whipping out all of his wire, all of his shuriken and all of his explosive notes, he placed them on the ground in front of him. The wire he had could cut the dogs with even a slight pull, and he couldn’t injure them at all. Grabbing two of the rolls of wire, he placed the tip in his mouth and pulled back; running his finger down the wire until it extended as far as his arm would reach and then he brought the wire back up over his finger. He repeated this circular motion quickly, three times. After he had a three rows of wires looped on to each other, he broke it and repeated the process again, until he had twelve loops.

Here came the tricky part, with careful fingers and a watchful eye, he wove the wire around each loop, to make one thick circular piece of wire, thick enough so that it wouldn’t cut the dogs. This took some time, but his hands worked quickly, with each set of wire. Using an extra set of wire, he wrapped another long string of wire to each collar, making twelve make shift dog leashes, and this would be fun. Making sure that he had all of the shuirken and explosive notes like he wanted, he made sure everything was set. Jumping off of the building he was on, he kept the makeshift leashes in his hand as he quickly ran towards the back of the dogs, crouching low against the grass to keep his eyes off their radar. It didn’t’ take him long to get behind him, but he had been positioned at least twenty meters away from them, with ample room. These dogs were rabid; none of them were the least bit interested in anything else except the woman. Shihouin dropped low and crouched on one knee. He surveyed the area, feeling the flow of the wind, the light in the sky, the range he could throw, everything went under keen analyzation. Grabbing one of the prepared shuriken with an explosive note, he put his plan to work.

While crouching, he put his hands together quickly and created three shadow clones. They all appeared silently next to him, in the same position. He divided the leashes up into pairs of three, to make the job easier for him. He quickly reached into his pocket and pulled out the prepared explosive note, the one attached to a shuriken in such a way that it wouldn’t alter its flight path. His angle on his throw was exceptionally wide, wide enough to fool anyone into thinking that he would be throwing it totally off course. However, the curve and power which he would be throwing it by would give him time. He threw it hard right, curving the shuriken in a wide arc to come around about three meters behind the woman. Each one of the clones dropped down in Shihouin’s command, lying prone as they both crawled their way towards the dogs. Going prone allowed them to reduce their sights and make less noise. If the woman had seen them marching up behind the dogs, her attention might cause the dogs to shift their attention and give away his position. Attacking from the rear flank allowed them to take the dogs by surprise, which would in turn increase the success rate of the mission. They crawled quickly making no sounds as the shuriken flew on its large path, almost to its point. Shihouin didn’t plan on making the shuriken fly long, he only wanted to go prone for one or two seconds, which would give him about a meters distance to move since they were on all fours.

The shuriken spun and met its mark right behind the tree. It didn’t hit anything, nor was it aimed for anything, but the tag on it exploded right as it passed behind the tree. The explosion shocked both the dogs and the woman simultaneously, and the dogs instantly went on edge, ears up, legs tight and noses high. They couldn’t sense anything in that direction at all, and were confused. However, Shihouin had been attacking at this very point; his plan had been centered on this very moment. With animals, there was only a brief second between being surprised by something and then going to investigate it. Once the dogs stopped out of confusion, they would find a thick lasso grope their neck tightly and prevent them from moving. Each Kage bunshin held three dogs, and once the dogs started to try and break the collars they found it unsuccessful. The clones pulled back and they all began to walk towards the animal shelter. The woman didn’t need to be told twice, once she realized the dogs were out of harm she jumped down from the tree to safety and bailed without even looking back. Wrestling the dogs on their leash, each clone used the Sharingan to calm the dogs down. It worked a little, but taming them entirely was out of the question, they were frothing with rabies and couldn’t even control themselves.

The walk to the animal shelter had been difficult, but they had made it. Shihouin and his clones had to get the animals in there somehow, and after the dogs several failed attempts to eat the veterinarians, they had finally got them in. Shihouin and his team had to hold them down with all of their strength, muzzle them and then hold them down again for sedation. Sedating took more than one time; they had to use a powerful sedative twice on the dogs. Once the vets had them under control, or down under, they began to prick and prod with medicines and drugs to get the dogs under control. With the mission completed, Shihouin faded away.
