| Sunlight streaked through the grey clouds that were hovering over Konoha, threatening to rain. The whole village seemed to be in a melancholy mood, or slightly sad due to the weather, the bright sun that normally covered the village shining down only slightly throughout the course of the morning. Henshu sat on top of the Hokage monument, his eyes closed and resting on the nose of one of the faces. His back was pressed against the rock as he contemplated the day.
The weather suited Henshu’s mood; melancholy, tinged with sadness. This was Henshu’s life. He didn’t know why he could do what he did, why he could remember everything. He couldn’t sleep, he couldn’t tire when working out, and he could manipulate an element that was not even a part of this village. His memory was shot; nothing he could remember with his near perfect mind was ever from before he was found outside the village. What reinforced the belief that he did not belong in this village, or at least he hadn’t been born here in Konoha, was his unique ability to chill the air around him in a large radius without even trying. No matter where he went, or who he was with, the air around him was just below freezing, causing any liquid that was around him for longer than 10 minutes to begin to lose its heat and freeze over.
Henshu sighed. Those reasons were why he had taken his current name, Henshu. It meant monstrosity, or abomination. He preferred it to his actual name, Shihai Tatsuna. Whether the name was that of his maker, his parents, or something else, Henshu wasn’t sure, but he refused to be called by it. It was a reminder that he belonged to something that was against humanity. He didnt even know how many others were experimented on, nor how many survived. All he knew was that he was alone, and that suited him just fine.
A wet nose rubbed up against Henshu's arm and he remidied his last statement. Almost alone. He did have Shimo, he added in to his previous statement as he rubbed the white wolf's head and scratched behind the ear. The wolf was somehow tied into his past, but Henshu couldnt bring himself to hate the majestic creature. The birthmark on his chest symbolized this wolf, Henshu knew, and since that was the case, all he could do was accept it. | |

| Clouds blocked out most of the sun that was shining in the sky. Feeble rays of sun light filtered through them and lit up certain areas of the big village. Most people were moving about, trying to get their business done before it rained. One of the only people who wasn't rushing around was a young Genin who was accompanied by a snow white tiger. The boy walked slowly up a path towards the Hokage mountain. It seemed better for him to go up there on a day like this since there was probaly more sunlight that high up.
Rocks fell from the path as Raizo kicked them out of his way. His right hand rested on Ozunu's head. ruffling the fur up a bit. A small grin spread across his face as he contemplated the things he could possibly do up on the mountain. There was the possibility that he could run and jump from face to face, making it look easy to people far below. Or he could just sit and relax, taking in the beauty of Konohagakure as he did. The Genin didn't know what he was gonna do at the moment. He was leaning towards just relaxing though since he had just finished training a few hours ago.
A yawn escaped the boys lips as he crossed onto the top of the mountain and turned towards the faces of the past Hokage. It always made him smile when he came up here. Although he wasn't originally from this village, he still loved seeing the monument of the past leader's of his home. Raizo didn't know where he was from or what had happened to him before he awoke in that forest clearing miles away from the village but he knew that Konohagakure was his home now. Most of the people knew him just because he was so popular with their children. Raizo didn't like the attention a whole lot but he lived with it. Always having friends around made him feel good and it was almost like he had a family for the first time in his life.
Walking to the edge of on of the faces, Raizo dropped down onto the nose of the Fourth Hokage. Ozunu followed him closely and landed nimbly by his side. Smiling, Raizo scratched the tigers neck and then looked around. The village of Konohagakure spread out in front of him, the size of a toy. The sun was high in the sky here but still no sunlight came through. Damned clouds. Raizo turned away from the scenic few and looked at the other Hokage faces that were carved into the stone. Most of them were just like the one he was on, blank. But three faces down from him sat another boy accompanied by a wolf. Unable to control himself, Raizo jumped from where he was sitting and reached out for the lip of the Hokage beside him. Grabbing on, Raizo pulled himself up and looked back.
"Go back the way we came, Ozunu. Meet me over there where that boy is." Ozunu obeyed Raizo and made his way back up the Fourth's face and towards where the boy was. Raizo turned back and repeated the same process he used to get on this face on the other two. Pulling himself up on the last face, Raizo stood up and looked at the boy. Ozunu jumped down and landed beside him as he started to study the other boy. The boy looked a lot like Raizo, which surprised him because he didn't know anyone around Konohagakure that looked like him. It's almost like we could be twins...
Stepping forward, Raizo raised his hand in a greeting and started to speak. "What brings you up here on a day like this?" Reaching out, Raizo rested his hand on the white tigers head again before mentally slapping himself for his terrible manners. "Im Raizo Shihai by the way. What's your name?"
