Personality:shikarata nara is a calm quite guy who thinks on his feet when his life is in danger and letting him think out side of the box and come up with stange strategy that get his life in danger alot thus letting him reach a point that his mind switch to over drive and lets him get out of any situation with out thinking.
he some times try to joke around and try to use humor when he is in a situation and thus getting him in more danger thus is his key to survivng almost any battle and getting out of being in jail or capture, when he is in dange he will hold his head in pain and thus is the sign of his mind switch to over drive and he starts to think at high speed, he also like to be called Arata by his friends.

History:Shikarata nara was still a boy when he live in the Water fall village. He was classmates with three of his future "Waterfall" allies, Kotaro Katsura, Shinsuke Takasugi, and Sakamoto Tatsuma. It was at this time that he learned of the code of the samurai, which he keeps to himself even to this day (albeit in a more twisted manner than others).
Little is known of Arata, Katsura and Takasugi's teacher other than they all had great respect for him and that he found Arata as a child calmly eating and hiding on the corpses from some unknown battle. He gave Arata his sword and told him if he wants to learn how to wield it then he should follow him. Many of Arata's views on life seem to be inspired by his teacher, one being that a teacher should be able to carry the burden of their student.
As Arata grew older, he began to take note of the way that the country and the world was changing due to the continued invasion and infiltration of the Amanto. As the samurai continued to fight against the Amanto Arata joined the Joi faction, choosing to make a stand against the invaders. Arata continued to fight against them, being proclaimed a "God of War".
However, Arata eventually gave up fighting, tired of spilling blood in order to protect people and his realization that the Amanto were "gloomy foreigners". Shortly after, swords were banned with some of the Samurai turning to other causes and others turning into terrorists continuing to fight the Amanto threat. Arata chose to open a freelance business where he could handle matters his own way, while continuing to live by his own samurai code.
Arata is trained and versed in the ways of the samurai, including the code of bushido. During the war against the Amanto, Arata was known as Shiroyasha, "the White Demon." On the battlefield, his merciless abilities and savage swordsmanship were so notorious that the mere mention of his name is said to have once struck fear in the hearts of every Amanto. Although not much is known of his past, several characters who fought with him have observed that his swordplay is self-taught.
His main weapon of choice is a bokuto (wooden sword) with the words "Lake Toya" inscribed on it. Supposedly, Ara bought the sword in Lake Toya during a class trip. In reality, the bokuto he wields is a Hoshikudaki, a bokuto created from a ten-thousand year old tree from another planet that cuts through anything. Whenever one breaks or is stolen, Ara replaces it by purchasing it through a TV shopping program, asking them to inscribe "Lake Toya" on it prior to delivery, therefore replacing his old sword. Using this sword, he is often seen cutting, smashing and basically destroying all kinds of strong objects such as a metal cannon. Occasionally, though, Ara has used other swords, including real ones, in combat when he needs to due to a tougher encounter.
During battle, he is known to have displayed unusual strength. Although he is more than capable of fighting evenly against powerful Amanto warriors and various other samurai, Arata will not hesitate to use tricks and manipulation if it means a quick and easy victory. He does not like to waste time fighting when using a little brains over brawn will yield a much quicker ending. He has a crush on the weather girl, Ketsuno Ana.
Though several female characters have shown an interest in Arata, he usually does not show any response back and merely puts up with them as annoyances and even attacks the ninja Sarutobi Ayame who tends to stalk him. He is also obsessed with reading the manga anthology magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump. Arata will go to great lengths to get the latest Jump issue, including reckless behavior. His Jump obsession makes him dream of being like other Jump heroes. is the founder of Yorozuya and a highly skilled samurai, who enjoys eating sweets and picking his nose. Other than Arata, he is also referred to as ara-chan or ara-san.
Time as a Genin: Arata Spent three years Doing mission to home his sword skills he is able to move almost fast as Anbu Arata team whose a male Inuzuka ninja name Shinro and a female ninja name Aiko Chiyo who have a crush on Arata as Arata whose on one of his mission he suffer a blade going throu to his chest witch when thrue it almost killing him. the doctors spending three days in the operating room when he whose release from the operating room till Arata escape from his room and left to his favorite Place in konoha the swing sets just sitting there staring up at the sky thinking soon the Medical ninja showed up taking Arata.

Shikaku whose sitting down with Shikamaru playing a game of Shogi witch lasted 3 days, Shikamaru whose playing shogi as smart as his father whose, Shikaku place a Shogi piece on the board as it whose game and Shikaku beat his own son in the game, Chouza Akimichi then walk by the open door wanting to grab a few Saki Shikaku then got up and told Shikamaru "keep on training".
Shikaku then head to the near by bar with Chouza Akimichi, Shikaku an grab a bottle of Saki and started to drink from it, He then became drunk and started to say how smart his son is and how we could never beat his old man at Shogi, Inoichi Yamanaka then walk in and ask to join in a drink as Shikaku said the more the better tasting the Saki is as Shikaku Fainted from to Meany Saki, Shikamaru enter the bar to bring his Father home Shikamaru said "How troublesome" to his father as he help his father up and walk him home
The next day:
Shikaku whose playing another game a Shogi with his son that lasted 10 Hour's, Shikaku then finish it up the same way he did before but Shikaku started to walk around town to buy a few stuff for his wife as Shikaku walk buy his son in a Sparing match with his Friend Shikaku use his Shadow Imitation Technique on Shikamaru and his Friend as Shikaku sayed "hay Shikamaru i need you to get a few things for your mother".
Shikamaru replayed "what a drag as you can see I'm in a match dad" as Shikaku rub his head and said "Shikamaru you should listing to your mother OK she don't look like much but if you make you mother mad, will to let you know i did not get these scars from the field" as Shikamaru then look scared for a but and then sayed "fin but can we finish ar match first" as Shikaku smiled and said "fin but make it fast" as Shikamaru finish the match with style.
The next day:
Shikaku whose in a field mission at a fort with Chouza Akimichi and Inoichi Yamanaka also know as the Ino-Shika-Cho trio whose doing a mission to get info on a hidden jutsu as Shikau rush a the fort door and use his Shadow Imitation Technique to control the guard to make him unlock it and as Chouza swing the door open to knock the Guard out for the Ino-Shika-Cho trio to get in as Shikaku walk slowly to the next door Shikaku next the door to see if its unlock.
Shikaku use his Shadow Neck Bind Technique to get the other Guard out of the way the Ino-Shika-Cho trio make there way threw the fort as Shikaku use his Shadow Gathering Technique to gather the enemy to him as Chouza got ready to knock the other guards out but no Guard are in the room so the Ino-Shika-Cho trio make there way down true the cell area to get to the Scrool with the hidden jutsu on it as Shikaku saw a weird jutsu on the place as Chouza and Inoichi also saw it as Shikaku the thought of a way out of the Genjutsu as Shikaku the rush to the right to break it as the Ino-Shika-Cho trio got the info on the Hidden scroll and return to Konoha.
Back In Konoha:
as Shikaku gave the info to the hokage Shikaku return home and then started a Game of shogi with Shikamaru and thay played piece by piece Shikaku then play a Piece down and beat Shikamaru in a game as Shikaku when to the bar to get a drink with Chouza and Inoichi to Grab some drink and rest after a perfect mission finish as Shikaku took a drink and started to fall a sleep at the bar.
That Night:
As Shikaku woke up and saw the bar almost close Shikaku then walk home as he mad it a little way out he could see some poeple playing poke for money and a Shogi tournament going on as Shikaku enter the tournament and won over 1000 yen as Shikaku then stop by Inoichi flow shop and pic up 3 dozen roses for his wife and Shikaku left and went home to give his wife the flowers.
The Next Day:
as Shikaku got up and when to the Academy to tell the young ninjas how to be better at a battle Shikaku said to the kids "ok kids my name is Shikaku Nara im the father of Shikamaru Nara and i will tell you all how you must train you mind to improve you Tactics" as Shikaku talk for 3 hour on to improving the mind half of the class fell fast asleep and Shikaku help Iruka with the class and left to his next job.
That after noon:
As Shikaku started to go to the bar to get a few drink and left after a few hours and whent to the next job Shikaku went to help kids with Kunai training and jutsu training also Taijutsu trainng with kids to help them survive in a mission when thy become Genin Shikaku show the kids how to toss a kunai and other ways to throw a kunai Shikaku toss one and toss Another kunai at his kunai to bounce it off of eatch other as the kids whose getting use to the kunai training shikaku move on to jutsu training and show the kids how to use a clone jutsu and how to use a transformation jutsu also as Shikaku move on to taijutsu training and show them how to perform a few combos and left the he place to join Shikamaru and his friends for a Mission as Shikaku return to is wife after the mission whose over and then went to the bars again for a few drinks with Chouza and Inoichi and have a few drinks and rest.
