| Fuuinjutsu Howl Ichushiro is a peerless Seal Master who is knowledge and understanding of this achaic subject dates back all the way to introduction of Chakra manipulation by the great Nin himself, Redukko Sennin. As such he understandably possess' a large and varied range of general techniques, application methods as well as the ability to alter them in new and terrible ways Application Jutsu By use of varied application Jutsu Howl can apply his seals in new and unexpected. Ways seals generally require direct application be it to the user, target or something else which is not always easy or rare cases possible. Howl has developed some Jutsu that allow him to apply seals more unusal ways then depend on doing so in close proximity, an area given his relatively poor close quarters capabilities that is not precisely complementary to his style of combat - Quote :
- Name: Seal Array Creation
Rank: C Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Almost any seal can be effectively linked with a seal array. A seal array is are area usually created by applying controls seals to kunai and placing them at the circumference of the area then activating it with the applicable Seal in the centre. This can take any shape but can be no large then 30ft in radius. Any seals placed in this way will activate and affect anyone who later enters the sealed area as if struck by the seal in person. You can only apply one seal to an area but there is no limit to how many arrays you can have active in any one area.
Creating a Seal Array costs a c rank of chakra in addition to the Seal used but may only affect the first person who enters at which point it will collapse. If however a b rank of additional chakra is used the seal array will apply the seal to any who enters and last until destroyed by means of a b rank technique or better or a unsealing technique of equivalent rank.
Name: Redokku Sennin’s Third Hand Projection Technique Rank: B Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: After forming a seal requiring physical contact it is possible to project that seal by means of this technique. The user need only form the technique, focus chakra in to any hand and manipulate it accordingly. A blue ghost like hand will form over their own bearing the seals mark on its palm. With a surge of charka this can be sent shooting off at high speeds towards a target. A certain amount of control over the flying hand can be exerted making it harder to dodge then one might imagine. Should contact be made the seal will activate as if Howl has touched the target himself. This cost a B Ranks worth of chakra in addition to the seals base cost
Name: Seal Clones Rank: B Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Seal clones are material clones that operate much like water clones in that do not have a separate chakra supply or retain memory and must operate close to the user. There is one key difference in that such clones have a seal in their centre and when disrupted this seal is activated as if the user themselves applied to the target. Seal clones costs a c rank of chakra in addition to the cost of the seal itself. Should the clones be dispersed at range the seals are potentially recoverable to be reused at not additional cost by their creator
Name: Seal Link: Charka Construct Sealing Technique Rank: B Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: A little understood and even more rarely seen Jutsu developed by Howl himself based on an appreciation of his own enshrinement seal. This seal upon striking the target creates a temporary link between it and second seal the forms a chakra construct that takes the shape of a shining doll of spindly design made of raw chakra. Though it might look odd on closer inspection the spindly design is actually a chakra network, this the only hint of what is to come. The seal effectively creates a direct link between the construct and the victim allowing the user to then apply upto 3 seals onto the construct before it collapses. Seals applied in this way will appear on the target as if sealed there in person over the equivalent spot on the chakra network. This technique if successful can be used to quickly apply seals to a victim with relative ease. The technique has but one flaw beyond initial application, the seal construct itself is quite weak and will shatter if struck by a c rank technique or higher furthermore while the seal and the construct remain the victim will be able to sense the constructs location making it for more difficult for the user to hide their presence.
Sealing Methods With aid of both experience, centuries of training and his inner seal Howl’s understanding of seals is breathtaking in its scope. As part of this he knows many techniques that when applied to seals can potentially alter their nature to better suit his purposes - Quote :
- Name: Advanced Seal Usage
Rank: N/A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: As one begins to understand seals one learns to apply, activate and harness them in new ways. Advanced seal users, such as Howl, can activate seals of their own creation remotely, apply them to almost any surface, make them activate or become inactive upon coming into contact with certain chakra signatures, make them blood dependant. They can also do this for others, and seals made for others may be customised accordingly. Please not variation of this nature only applies so far as the particular seal allows, seals with very specific usage requirements are understandably limited in the ways they can be attuned.
Name: Permanence Rank: N/A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: A true master of Fuuinjutsu can make any seal he uses semi-permanent. By using twice the chakra needed any seal can be made semi-permanent. Semi-permanent seals are recycle the chakra with them and thus will always remain active. Such seals have no maximum duration and last till such time as the seal is destroyed where possible or removed by a unsealing technique of the same rank or higher
Name: Jutsu Sealing Technique Rank: C Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: One of the first techniques any sealing specialists learns is how to seal jutsu on paper or within an item. The Jutsu Sealing Technique allows the user with the use of two additional hand seals to seal away a technique formed moments earlier to be released at a later point either on command or after a set time limit. Jutsu can be sealed in all manner of objects but are usually sealed on to paper or inanimate objects. Where the justu has a directional component the seal should be considered the point of origin and any effect will emminate at a 90 degree angle from the seal. For example a fireball technique sealed so will erupt when activated shooting off at a 90 degree angle to the seal itself. S Rank techniques can not be sealed in this way. While quite possible, it is not permissible for balance reasons to carry sealed jutsu on ones person ahead of missions. This technique can only be used once every other post and costs a C rank to activate jutsu in addition to the cost of sealing in the first place

Rank: N/A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: As a master of the art Howl knows all the basic seals from storage and weight seals to explosive tags and create them instinctively and for very limited chakra cost
Name: Unsealing Techniques Rank: N/A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: There a myriad of complex techniques used to unseal others and Howl knows them all. They are all relatively quick to perform need no hand seals just sophisticated chakra manipulation to achieve their purpose. With then Howl can remove/unseal any seals he encounters at cost of chakra relative to the amount used to make the seal in the first place
Name: Flesh Sealing Technique Rank: D Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Often mistaken for a healing technique this is a simple seal that seems to knit flesh and heal wounds. This is a misconception the seal can not heal or repair damage nor purge disease or remove a poison. All it does is seal the flesh around the injury stopping further blood and is capable of halting the spread of poisons and disease when placed appropriately. Wounds sealed in this way will seem healed but are in truth still there and their effects and they pain they cause still felt. An attack that crippled the user’s right arm can be sealed to appear as normal but will still not function properly. In truth this technique does little but by time and hide the extent of the users injuries
Name: Ward Seals Rank: Mixed Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: As seal master of some renowned Howl knows many wards seals that can be used to secure an area or an object. They can not be used on living things. There are many types:
Alarm Seal – D Rank – Alerts Howl if any hostile chakra signature comes within 50 m of the seal. Can be altered to make a large siren go off instead Detonation Seal – C Rank - Normally lighting or Earth Based – Trap seals detonate in a 10m blast equivalent to a C Rank tech if anyone but their maker comes within range Stupidity Seal – C Rank – Temporarily (for 3 rounds) blinds and stupefies anyone who touches an item/object bearing this seal Incapacitation Seal – B Ranks – Release high powered electric current disabling any who touch the sealed object for 3 rounds as well as causing considerable nerve damage Trap Seal – B Rank – Used on buildings/rooms/caves etc it seals the said structure trapping whoever triggered it. They are normally set to go off 3 seconds after a target enters the room. It is a rather problematic seal to deal with as it hardens the room making the walls far more durable. Only an A rank technique or higher can hope to breach the walls and provide an avenue for escape. This can be combined with an incapacitation seal to fill the room with knock gas after the event fully incapacitating the victim after 3 posts
All ward seals need to be triggered as a rule. The never affect their creator and can be blood linked so that they do not affect specific individuals. Howl tends to use them to secure his own base operations when in the field and on personal items.
Name: Chakra Purgation Seal Rank: C Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: This seal requires a complicated serious of handsigns and should be drawn over a central tenketsu point. Once in place it can be activated by the individual flaring chakra a c ranks worth of chakra at its location. Its effect is to purge the person’s chakra system absorbing harmful elements that have affected it. This process is painful and repeated use can lead to prolonged pain or even numbing. Please note only substances/techniques that directly affect the chakra system can be purged in this manner. This is not a healing technique and can not remove toxins or poisons from the body
Name: Mass Storage Seal Rank: C Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: A far more efficient varient of a average storage seal. Though on the surface it appears no bigger they in truth far more complex, requiring greater concentration and are capable of holding far more items weighing up to several tonnes each.
Name: Shikoku Fuuin - Finger Engraving Seal Rank: C Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Shikoku Fuuin is a Fuuinjutsu technique used by the Howl. By forming the needed sealing chakra on his finger, Howl can engrave a message into an object.
Name: Unfriendly Activation Rank: C-A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: A simple technique requiring but two minor hand seals to pull off. This technique allows the user to activate any inactive seals, even those he has not created himself within 100m of him. The cost of the technique is equivalent to the seal/s activated in this manner
Name: Banishing Seal Rank: C-S Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: A simple technique involving two hand focusing elemental chakra into ones fingers and drawing a seal on either a summon or a covering lid containing a summon. The summon is thus unsummoned and cannot be used for the remainder of the mission or encounter. The charka cost is equal to the amount used to summon them in the first place
Name: Exploding Kunai Sealing Technique Rank: C-S Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: A simple technique based on the simple exploding tag. After forming two handsigns the user creates a seal upon a parchment which in turn seals itself into the form of Kunai which may then be thrown. While it helps if you a good throw it isn’t that important the power of the technique. This then acts much like a kunai with attached explosive tag but with far greater force (Powerful explosion with a blast radius of 30ft) which can be made to detonate on impact, after a time delay or upon activation. This simple technique can be improved with training and more chakra to involve a greater number of Kunai:
C Rank: One B Rank: Two A Rank: Four S Rank: 8 or One super powered kunai with blast radius of 50ft and enough power to reduce almost any target to slag
The most potent element of the technique is the secrecy behind it. The Kunai appear just like normal ones to the average person and as such make a good choice for a surprise attack. Needless to say simple deflecting these with ones own Kunai is very ill advised
Name: Kekkai • Tengai Foujin - Barrier • Dome Method Seal Formation Type: Fuuinjutsu Rank: B Element:N/A Description:[b] Kekkai • Tengai Foujin is a Fuuinjutsu barrier technique. After performing the necessary handsigns the user will place the seal either on himself or over a specific location. This creates a sensory barrier of up to 25m in diameter that is able to detect the movements of a hidden foe. Should anyone touch the Howl will know their position immediately. Lasts until removed by equivalent unsealing technique
[b]Name: Otoshi Buta Fuuin - Covering Lid Seal Rank: B Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: After Howl performs the needed hand seals and slams his palm on to the ground creating a shining seal. The seal binds any hostile summon in the vicinity up to A Rank drawing them into the seal itself where it remains trapped. It will remain there till the seal is either removed with a unsealing tech or a A Rank or better Jutsu is used to shatter the seal. This technique cannot be used more then once every 5 posts. A rank Summons can only be sealed for a 2 posts in this manner before the overpower the seal of their own accord breaking free. This seal is temporal in nature and lasts at most only until the end of the thread at which point the summon inside will be free and return to its own realm to be summoned once more in another encounter
Name: Soul Reaper Seal Type: Kinjutsu Rank: B Element: N/A Description: A simple chakra siphoning seal that attracts unneeded chakra residue to it and adds it to replenish the bearers own chakra reserves. Since only dead nin have no need for chakra it is commonly referred to as the Soul Reaper seal as it harvests Chakra from the recently dead to aid its bearer. It has creates an unseen aura of 20m around the user and successfully siphons the chakra of individuals who died in the same thread. Any dead body siphoned in this manner will restore an amount of chakra equal to their rank which adds to Howls chakra reserves. This technique can only be used on approved PCs and NPCs
Name: Gate Rank: B Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: An advanced and very powerful traveling technique capable of linking any two doorways whatever there distance allowing any who travel through them instantaneous passage. This is a transportation technique known only by highly trained seal masters. It would be very useful as a means of traveling medium distances but not so great for escaping due to the time involved in forming it. It takes a full post using a existing door as a medium to travel through to form, during which the user must remain still in absolute concentration. When the technique is complete a shimmering surface will fill the open door way revealing the exit beyond and it will close after the user passes through or after 3 posts, whatever happens sooner. A door as a medium is not needed for advanced users who can form their own portal from chakra as a focal point for the technique but doing so costs an additional B ranks worth of chakra. Being caught between the sides of a portal when it collapses is a very bad idea as the user will quite literally be spliced potentially severing body parts or even killing a careless user. This may be used to travel up to 50 miles in one move and can be used to reduce travel time in half. If used in this manner its costs a B rank of chakra for every 6 hours saved. To travel somewhere that would usually take 48 hours in 24 hours would cost 4 B ranks or 2 A ranks. Any travel is this way is still subject to detection rules and it cannot be used to enter threads where no doors are present
Name: Hell Pit Unsealing Technique Rank: A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Not dissimilar to the infamous swamp of underworld technique in affect though the principle is quite different. This Jutsu affects an area of upto 20ft in diameter by opening a veil between this world and the parallel one occupied by daemons and abominations of the darkest Nature. The users only needs to prepare the handseals and slam his hand on the ground to form the seal whether he wishes causing the ground to open up revealing 100’s of clawing daemonic hands reaching up to drag unwary victims to their daemonic realm. Those who are caught by the arms and dragged below are never seen again.
Name: Fuuja Houin - Evil Sealing Method Rank: A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Fuuja Houin is a Fuuinjutsu technique used to counter-act the effects of a cursed seal. The ninja writes the needed seal characters on the ground and body of the person cursed with the seal. The ninja then forms the needed hand seals and places his hand over the cursed seal and then activates the written seal. The seal characters will then retreat to surround the cursed seal in a circular seal. Though the Fuuja Houin can work well against lesser seals, it will not be able to fully stop a cursed seal placed by a powerful, skilled ninja.
Name: Gogyou Fuuin - Five Elements Seal Rank: A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Howl forms an elemental seal on each of his fingers, one for each of the following five "elements": water, metal, earth, fire and wood. He used this odd numbered seal to disrupt the affects of a Bijuu seal making it fair harder for a Jinchuuriki to use and draw chakra from their bijuu
Name: Gogyou Kaiin - Five Elements Unseal Rank: A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Howl forms an elemental unseal on each of his fingers, one for each of the following five "elements": water, metal, earth, fire and wood. He then applies his hand with force to the Gogyou Fuuin to remove it
Name: Infuuin • Kai - Secret Mark Seal • Release Rank: S Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description:Infuuin • Kai is a master fuuinjutsu believed to be developed by the Redukko Sennin himself. It’s a complicated seal that stores away unused latent chakra which can then be released back into the body when upon activation. While hideously complicated in practise and thus only known to most skilled Fuuinjutsu users its effects are fairly simplistic. Best described as a rechargeable chakra battery, allowing any bearer to store access raw chakra equal to their own rank. This can be tapped at will once full but the chakra must be used in one post preferably in conjunction with a suitably large technique. Any chakra not used at the end of post its activated will be lost. Once used the seal will once again going dormant till it has refilled This seal places a small but noticeable chakra drain on the user reserves. Every day the users loses a c rank worth of chakra to power it till its reaches capacity at which point it is required to maintain the seal itself. In short the bearer of the seal is permanently short of a c ranks worth of chakra. It takes 12 days for the seal to be fully charged after use.
Name: Planar Rift Rank: S Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: One of the most powerful seals in existence the Planar Rift Seal took Howl over 3 years to perfect and is arguably his most useful seal though limited in actual use by its heavy chakra cost, lack of subtlety and the movement restrictions involved. After performing the 7 necessary hand seals the user plants their feet creating an odd X shaped seal array anywhere within direct LOS, usually infront of themselves of above of below the intended target. This seal array will then collapse in on it self revealing a large planar rift. In theory a rift can be opened anywhere with time and concentration though in practise Howl can only open with any speed to one of 3 places:
1) The Vacuum of Space. This can be used to send anyone within 10ft of opening into vacuum of space or suck up incoming attacks 2) At the bottom of the Novalan Sea Trench, located 2 miles underwater to south of Moon. Releases a large amount of extremely pressurised water which deals large scale water damage. If opened under the victim and the user falls in they will be crushed almost instantly by the vast pressures involved 3) In the main lava vent of the Mt Fujiama, the Iron Counties most active volcano. Unleashes a torrent of searing magma that will reduce almost anything too ash. If opened under the victim and the user falls in death is almost guarrenteed
Where it easy to pull if Howl might not bother with anything else however such a technique is neither easy or without its drawbacks in addition to it costing an S ranks worth of chakra. For one the user most remain stationary throughout the technique, once there feet our planted any further movement will disrupt the seal and bring the rift to an abrupt end. Secondly the large X shape seal array tends to be rather hard to miss making it difficult to use with any subtlety. While invariably fatal if opened under the victim, few fall foul of this trick unless their vision or mind is impaired or otherwise occupied. Alteration SealsThis section covers all the seals that alter or effect the user, a target or an area generally. These seals don’t so much create as change what is already there: - Quote :
- Name: Extreme Weight Seal
Rank: D Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: A simple yet effective sealing technique it creates a number of very substantial weight seals that weigh down the target, slowing them up considerably and tiring them out. These are not as effective on individuals who are particularly strong and used to such limitations (such as tai mains etc). The seal requires physical contact to apply and wears off after 3 posts
Name: Lock Seal Rank: D Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: A locking seal locks a closable item such as a chest or a door even when there is no actual lock. A lock seal can be removed by doing the technique in reverse. A lock seal does not change the items strength and doesn’t stop a door from being kicked in.
Name: Poison Detection Seal Rank: D Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Acting as the name suggest, the poison detection seal, can be used to detect the presence of poison and track its progress. It is a very simple seal and costs hardly any chakra to use. It can not purge, cure or heal the damage done by poison though
Name: Self Repair Seal Rank: D-B Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: A simple technique requiring the user too quickly to trace a seal with a glowing outstretched finger on the item in question or nearby it. The item/structure will then repair itself as it was newly formed. Some part of the item must survive for this technique to be used. The amount of chakra needed is relative to size and complexity of the item/structure.
Name: Elemental Resistance Seal Rank: C Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Similar to a suppression seal except it only affects the items it attached to be it a weapon, piece of armour or a building. Any elemental attacks of the designated element count as a rank lower then would be otherwise. It has no affect on any Nin directly.
Name: Portal Rank: C Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: After performing the necessary hand seals and touching the obstacle in question a handle pops out which upon twisting reveals a doorway. This technique can be used to get through any form of wall or obstruction be it brick, metal or chakra based as though there was a door in it once made the user can simply walk through it. The technique lasts till the portal is closed at which point the wall or obstruction seals as if nothing occurred. This is a great way to escape techniques or enter hard to reach places
Name: Strengthening Seal Rank: C Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: This simple seal requiring only one hand seal allows Howl to strengthen any item, making it more resilient from armour, to weapons and even buildings. Strengthened items are considered twice as strong, with ranked items being a Rank tougher then normal. In relation to items/objects larger then the user this technique requires twice as much chakra. Furthermore objects or structures reinforced this way larger then a small house will only be strengthened for 3 posts.
Name: Truth Seal Rank: C Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: A minor seal that must be applied directly to the targets forehead. Once applied it lasts for 24 hours during which time the target can not physically lie. This does not mean he needs tell the truth and does not compel them to speak but lying while under this seals affects is impossible
Name: Elemental Suppression Seal Rank: B Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: After doing a series of hand seals Howl’s fingers glow and he can directly apply a seal to any surface. A Elemental Suppression Seal affects an area of 50m about it. It affects one element of Howl’s choice causing any jutsu of that same element to have an effect of one rank less then stated as the suppression seal siphons off Chakra. For example if he was to create a Water Suppression Seal, a B rank water would in fact have same impact as a C Rank one within the seals area of affect. All individuals within the area are thusly affected including Howl himself. Only one elemental suppression seal or elemental domination seal can be used at once, thus it is not possible to stack the effects of this seal nor use it to affect more then element at once. Advanced elemented cannot be affected directly but should any element they are based on be affect then chakra cost of the advanced techniques will increase by 25% as the user needs to plough more chakra into the technique to compensate for the weakened element
Name: Retribution Seal Rank: A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: A simple seal with a unexpectedly nasty affect. After performing the necessary hand seals the user only needs to strike the target with the seal for it to take affect. The seals affect is as simple as it is nasty. While the seal remains the target will take an amount of damage equivalent to that he inflict’s upon then seals creator even where the damage is fatal. This seal only applies in relation to the creator and not others and last 3 posts or until remove by a unsealing technique of comparable rank
Name: Deception Seal Rank: A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: A complex seal that requires 3 hand signs to perform. A deception seal renders any item or object is attached to invisible to the naked eye and gives the impression that nothing is amiss. This is a great way to hide not just one self but a building, door or cave entrance. It can be seen through be the Byakugan, the sharingan, A rank or high gen users and A rank or high seal masters.
Name: Elemental Domination Seal Rank: A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: After doing a series of hand seals Howl’s fingers glow and he can directly apply a seal to any surface. Much like its lesser powerful kin, the Elemental Resistance Seal it affects an area of 50m about it. Similar it affects one element of Howl’s choice but where it differs is it causes any jutsu of that same element to have an effect of two rank less (only one rank in relation to S rank techniques) then stated as the suppression seal siphons off Chakra. Furthermore it renders all C rank techniques involving that element ineffective. For example if he was to create a Water aligned Elemental Domination Seal, an A rank water would in fact have same impact as a C Rank one within the seals area of affect. All individuals within the area are equally affected including Howl himself. Only one elemental suppression seal or elemental domination seal can be used at once, thus it is not possible to stack the effects of this seal nor use it to affect more then element at once. Advanced elemented cannot be affected directly but should any element they are based on be affect then chakra cost of the advanced techniques will increase by 50% as the user needs to plough more chakra into the technique to compensate for the much weakened element
Name: Chakra Null Seal Rank: A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Used primarily on prisons cell a Chakra Null Seal makes it impossible for anyone to use chakra (with the exception of the unsealing technique) within 10m of it. While it can be removed with a unsealing tech it cannot be harmed by jutsu and chakra based attacks against the seal only strengthen it.
Name: Forbidden Art: Chakra Replication Seal Type: Fuuinjutsu Rank: S Element: N/A Description: Requires 12 hours preparation with a 500 word post followed by a 2k word post to apply and requires both a willing bearer, a S rank seal master and a willing donor. This technique imparts onto the target the highly complex and draining to use Chakra Replication Seal. The seal stores within it the precise chakra structure and nature of the donor and when active will alter the bearer’s own chakra system in line with carbon copy of the donors. This replacement has many effects though the key one is that it enables the target to use their donor’s kkg and secret clan techs as if they had the kekkai genkai themselves. This change is only temporal and only transfers active or usable abilities but not physical traits. For example were the seal to contain the nara kkg then anyone bearing it upon activation could use shadow based techs of their rank or lower. However they wouldn’t gain the dojutsu of an uchiha, due to their eyes been a physical manifestation of their clan’s kkg. Though such a radical change would on its own effectively render the seals bearer unable to channel in normal circumstance the seal itself contains a array of smaller ones overlaying it known as chakra regulation seals which regulate the control of chakra to a manageable flow by means of fluctuating internal tenketsu points, in doing so the sealed individual can maintain unhindered control over their chakra and be able to use techniques as if not affected. This is not without side effects though activating the seal costs an amount of chakra equal to the bearers rank (to maximum of A rank) and maintaining the chakra regulation seals requires an additional amount of chakra equal to one rank lower then the bearer every two posts. Furthermore while active the bearer can not use their own clan based abilities or jutsu. When deactivated the bearers chakra system is restored to its former alignment. This switchback as it is called puts particular strain on the chakra regulation seals which look down a great deal of the users tenketsu seals to ease the transition and in doing so limit the rank of the users available techs in the following post, to one rank lower then the user.
This seal can only be applied once per person and contain within it the chakra structure for one clan only. Rank: C Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: After performing the two handsigns involved chakra will form at the users finger tips and then can be sealed in either paper to be activated at a later point or on the victim himself. The leg locker seal causes the victims legs to lock together as if seen from the ankle up. This will remain the case for 5 post. During this time the user can’t walk, run or sprint though they can jump, hop and leap. If used on a target in motion this will almost certainly cause them trip up and stumble over.
Name: False Prison: Inner Confliction Seal Rank: B Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: This rare seal is both akin to and very different from the ninjutsu prison techs that exist. Like water prison it is designed to hold ones foe in place but unlike it does not to do so by rendering the victim immobile but by more sinister means. Requiring activation within 6 ft of the intended target, this technique causes a golden colour translucent sphere to surround the target 10ft in diameter around the user. Unlike other prison techniques the target is still free to do as they as they wish and even to leave the sphere, however doing so applies both an elemental suppression seal and a chakra absorption seal. Though this isn’t broadcasted the shimmering wall of prison gives off an unsettling aura making it apparent that passing through it would be a mistake. So far from holding people with walls it creates inner turmoil as they must weigh the risks of attempting escape against the equally problematic issue of being trapped within and in doing so makes this false prison stronger then many real ones. Rank: C Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: This Seal requires 4 hand signs to perform and must be applied to the head of the target/person in question. Once in place the seal links itself directly to the persons mind and sustains itself by altering the flow of chakra to go through it. The seal activates if any foreign chakra or influence affects the chakra around the brain causing the person in question to suffer a shot lived if not inconsiderable jolt of pain by shocking nearby nerves. This seal serves as an effective means to inform the individual if he is under a genjutsu and can dispel genjutsu techniques of C Rank or below by means of the pain it causes. This seal must be placed on a person prior to a genjutsu attack to be effective and thus is of limited user once battle commences. It does not cost any chakra to maintain due to the seal being largely dormant most of the time
Name: Mental Stimulation Seal Rank: C Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Requiring 3 hand seals this seal should it be placed on a victim will stimulate the victims chakra system, heightening emotional and nerve sensitivity 2 fold making everything seem more real and traumatising. On its own is does no damage but anyone unfortunate enough to have one on placed on them becomes far more susceptible to genjutsu and pain with all genjutsu targeted against them counting as a rank higher then they truly are and the pain felt by the victim amplified two fold. Name: Genjutsu Regeneration Seal Rank: C-S Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: A very specific and in the right hands useful seal indeed. A simple one to perform requiring but a few hand seals if applied to a target has a rather unexpected affect. At first it appears to fail but in truth it lies dormant weighting for specific action to take place, the expulsion of genjutsu by Kai or similar genjutsu removal technique when it activates reapplying the former genjutsu at the beginning of the next post as if the kai had never occurred. It can keep doing this till such time as it runs out of chakra. The rank of the Genjutsu regeneration seal reflects the amount of chakra it has within it to reapply genjutsu. - Name: Gofuu Kekkai - Four Seal Barrier
Rank: C Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Gofuu Kekkai is a Fuuinjutsu technique utilized by Howl. The five "kin" (prohibition) seals act together to form a barrier to cover an entrance to a bulding, a cave system or indeed any sizeable portal. The portal itself is marked with one tag, and four other tags are located within a few hundred meters of each other. To remove the barrier, all four tags must be removed at the same moment.
Knowing that the barrier has this weakness, Howl may add further protection, in the form of Kyoumen Shuuja no Jutsu. When the four surrounding tags are removed, a doppelganger of the person who removed it will emerge from the ground and battle them. The doppelganger can utilize all the same moves as the original, even bloodline techniques but has only a 1/3 of the users endurance/chakra
Name: Paralysis Seal Rank: C Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Placed on the ground after forming the necessary hand signs a Repulsion seal creates a sealed area 5m in radius around the user. Anything other then the user that tries to cross the seal from outside will be frozen in place for one post unable to move. If combined with a Repulsion Seal it has the effect of not only paralysing but then sending them flying with great speed in the opposite direction. This seal lasts 5 posts or until removed using a unsealing technique. However unlike the repulsion seal the edge of it shines faintly serving to warn others of the danger of approaching. This does not however reveal the seals nature just that one is in effect
Name: Repulsion Seal Rank: B Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Placed on the ground after forming the necessary hand signs a Repulsion seal creates a sealed area 5m in radius around the user. Anything other then the user that tries to cross the seal from outside will be repelled and be pushed back forcibly as if hit by a C rank wind technique. This seal lasts 5 posts or until removed using a unsealing technique. Fire Jutsu are enhanced by this technique though the greater part of the heats also tends to be redirected by the on rushing wind. Any fire jutsu that hits the seal area will automatically strike the seals user though as if two ranks lower then the Jutsu’s actual rank. Name: Sanbou Kyuukai - Three Buddhist Treasures Vacuum Destruction Rank: B Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Requiring 3 hand seals to perform and ending with the horse seal this technique with the users arms form a triangle with the last handseal at the top. This creates 3 small seals in triangular formation, one forming over each elbow and the last over the handseal which serve as anchors for the real seals that hover unseen some 1 m in front of the user. A foot behind this but in front of the use a 2m wide swirling vortex will form in the shape of these unseen seals. The effect of this complex seal array is to suck up with great force all the surrounding objects, items and materials like a vacuum through the triangular space and into the vortex where upon they are broken down into nothingness. This technique can suck up anything within 30m of the target that is not firmly rooted to the ground, such as trees etc but only in front of the portal. This technique has no effect on the user but does require the user stand still during the relative shortly takes to set up and while it is maintained. The portal is powerful but as result only works briefly and can be held for a maximum of a post
Name: Kenetic Reversal Seal Rank: B-A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: After performing the necessary hand seals Howl’s hand will glow fingers will glow with chakra. To apply the seal all he need to touch a surface and rotate his hand 90 degrees clockwise to activate it. Once active a Kenetic Reversal Seal reverses all kenetic energy above a basic level within 10ft of the seal itself. Anything with that takes more force then is involved in brisk walking, crouching or performing a hand seal is reversed by the seal on the originator of the action. Punches, kicks, even weapon strikes will have there kenetic energy turn back on the originator with potentially devastating effects. Jutsu are likewise affected though only so far as their Kenetic energy is concerned. With this seal is active punches intended at the target will own harm oneself and wind jutsu designed to knocked the victim off the feet have a tendancy to send the user flying instead. This particular seal is commonly used in training to test genin reflexes, by placing it on a wall and asking unsuspecting genin to throw kunai at it only for the kunai to fly back the way the came as the draw closer. There are two varients of this Seal a basic variant that costs a B rank worth of Jutsu the affects all actions that pass within 10ft of it and a A rank one which involves an additional or more complicated seal superimposed over the top. This further seal nullifies the affects of the original with regard to the creators action by designing it not to activate in relation to the users chakra signature. Name: Elemental Sealing Method Rank: B-A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: This is a Fuuinjutsu technique that allows the ninja to seal away a nearby element. After unrolling a scroll to hold the attack, the ninja writes the needed sealing incantation onto the scroll. Then by forming the needed handseals, a vapour will emanate from the scroll to encompass the element and take it back to the scroll for sealing. This is not particularly useful against fast attacks in personal defence given it takes slightly longer the average jutsu but is great at countering powerful elemental based abilities or saving many from a broad ranged attack. For example this can used to stop an incoming tidal wave or a destructive blaze. An attack stopped in this manner can be sent back at them by reversing technique at a cost of a C ranks worth chakra.
Name: Ninjutsu Grounding Seal Rank: B-S Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: After forming the necessary handseals this rather unique seal has a rather colourful and at the same time unexpected affect. It grounds or rather absorbs any hostile Ninjutsu that passes within 30ft of it by causing the technique to revert to its raw chakra form and in a rather odd visual display be sucked as a stream of raw glowing blue chakra into the seal. Anything from fireballs to waves can be affected in this manner and its not unheard for a fireball to flung at a seal master using such a seal only for it to stutter before the end, stop burning and return to its base chakra form before being absorbed into the seal. While a very effective defence against Ninjutsu it does involve a certain amount of investment since it will only ever absorb as much chakra as was used the seal in the first place so the user must use some of his own in anticipation of attacks might never come. Ninjutsu that of a high rank then the Grounding Seal or the remaining space within it are not stopped by the grounding seal but are merely reduced by the amount of space left in the seal. For example where an A rank tech to pass within 30ft of a till then unused B Rank Grounding Seal, a b ranks worth of chakra will be absorbed reducing the attacks potency by an equivalent amount. Once it has absorbed its limit the creator can either remove it at no cost using the chakra within it or activate it creating a powerful explosion relative to the rank of the Seal centring on its location:

Name: Seal Array: Charka Reflection Technique Rank: A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: A complicated and nasty technique requiring activation within 6ft of the target. While the initiation is visible the immediate effect of it is not often giving the perception the technique has failed to work. What has actually happened is a spherical seal array 20ft in diameter has formed around the target that actually follows the target about. It causes no harm, or rather no direct harm and can be seen without a applicable dojutstu. it does however have one rather horrific affect. The surrounding array is made up of 6 evenly space reflection seals that have the combined and rather unfortunate affect of causing any ninjutsu that hits the sphere’s walls to bounce back akin to a pinball bouncing off a bumper often shooting back towards the victim. Of course since all the walls are like this its quite possible for techniques to bounce multiple times often meaning that one dodge isn’t good enough to stave off the randomly moving attack Though not visible ordinarily it momentarily shimmers every time its walls are struck and rings with a bell quality making it quite clear from that point on that the user is surrounded by a less then pleasant seal array. Most important the six seals lining the field evenly around its circumference will appear as well, if only for a moment. It is possible to destroy the seal array by destroying all 6 seals at once. This can be done by either using any S rank damaging technique or a B rank or higher technique that inflicts area damage of least 10ft in diameter so that it will strike all the seals simultaneously. Should the latter be chosen however it does have the unfortunate side effect of collapsing creating a backlash that will catch the Nin caught within too. S ranks techniques are so powerful however they smash through the seal array without a great deal of difficulty. Please not since the seal array follows the user about it can not be easily harmed by direct close combat attacks and techniques
Name: Sanctuary Seal Rank: S Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Also know as a Phase Seal, a sanctuary seal creates a protective glowing bubble 4m sphere in diameter. Those within the sphere are fazed out of reality much like madara can do with his own body and thus any attacks will not physically or mentally harm them. The downside is while in the bubble the user can not act back thus giving its name. This technique is often used to protect injured allies or provide a moments respite. The seal last 10 rounds or until such time as it occupants step out of it. It is not possible to enter a area covered by a sanctuary seal, only to leave it (thus its not possible to keep jumping in or out of the seal to use techs and then hide again).

Rank: B Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description:This technique creates a complicated seal which does nothing more then intricately edit the workings of a chakra network, either you own or another’s. What it does is radically change the flow of chakra causing ones output of physical energy to greatly increase while diminishing the spirit energy within. This makes it impossible to manipulate chakra in a normal way or use jutsu however by passing this new form of high physical energy chakra throughout ones body you can replicate affects more commonly seen in medical jutsu. The excess physical energy rebuilds and repairs damaged tissue, increases clotting speed, fights infections, virus and poisons and speeds up the effect of regenerative or medical techniques. This technique can be used for a maximum of 5 posts consecutively and the user must wait at least one post before using it again. While in effect the target of the seal loses the ability to manipulate chakra in exchange for the following benefits:
Poison/Toxin/ Viral Resistance: A rank of higher poisons, Toxins and other contaminants work twice as slowly when under its effects. B rank ones and lower are affected similarly but will additionally be purged from the system after this is used for 4 consecutive posts Heightened Regeneration: Where no healing or regeneration or is occurring the user will experience healing akin to a c ranks medical technique every post it is in affect. Where healing or regeneration is occurring the speed of it is doubled Quick Clotting, Infection Clearing: All wounds whatever their size will clot within 3 posts of this technique taking affect. Infectious wounds will be cleaned within 5 posts of this technique taking affect.
While useful this technique is largely avoided due to its severe restrictions on jutsu is except to stabilise highly damaged Nin. It has in the passed being used to keep people going long enough till they can received much needed medical attention.
Ichushiro Clan members are unique in that they can recreate the effects of this seal without actually creating the seal itself simply be altering though internal seal a long the same lines. Though the must use chakra to initiate it they do not need to use hand signs when applying it to themselves and may turn the effects on and off at will. However during any post where this jutsu is active the user is similarly unable to manipulate chakra
Name: Chakra Kyuuin Fuuin - Chakra Absorption Seal Rank: B Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: After performing the necessary hand seals Howl’s hand will glow with chakra. When he touches his palm on his opponent’s body he will imprint a seal on his opponent that siphons off physical and spiritual energy out of them, returning it to Howl at the rate of a C ranks worth of chakra a turn. By reducing their chakra while boosting his own, it greatly increases his advantage over his opponent. The seal is removed with an unsealing tech of equal power or better of by destroying the seal itself though such an act of self mutilation causes considerable blood loss and weakens the owner in its own way
Name: Chakra Shut Out Seal Rank: B Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: This seal when placed on a person forcibly seals the tenketsu points in the limb/body part touched making it anywhere from very difficult to virtuallty impossible to manipulate chakra within them till the seal is removed either by physically cutting it out or use of a sealing technique. Cutting out a seal is not only painful and disfiguring but life threatening depending on where the seal is placed. The effects various parts of the body differently depending on the part struck:
Leg: Slows the user down and makes it impossible to manipulate chakra in the limb preventing/restricting most speed related moves, water/tree walking, jumping beyond civilian levels and generally slows an opponent down 25% Arm: User cannot use the arm for any chakra manipulation and or to perform handseals. It is also not possible to pump chakra into ones strikes leading to 25% reduction in strength Lower Torso: Prevents chakra reaching either leg. This has the cumlative effect on their speed reducing by 50% in addition to the affects described in regard to a Leg strike Head: Renders them incapable of shaping jutsu in their mind, thus incapable of doing jutsu at all as well as deactivating dojutsu during their time it remains active. The loss of chakra also dulls their senses slowing down the victim’s reaction time by 50%. It has the fortunate side effect of making the victim immune to genjutsu on the other hand as there is no longer any chakra surrounding their minds for others to manipulate and will instantly break any genjutsu currently affecting them Upper Body: Striking this area will directly affect the centres of the chakra network. People struck here will experience all the above effects as there chakra system shuts down.
Name: Chakra Intolerance Seal Rank: A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Those who have always considered the draining affect of using Jutsu on their chakra the worse cost related to using them should think again. With the application of this powerful and complicated seal to a target the chakra system warps and changes to become highly unstable, corrosive and damaging not unlike the concentrate malevolent chakra of the Kyuubi. Victims affected by this seal will suffer internal damage of every time directly equivalent to one rank less then technique used. Spamming Jutsu when affected by this seal can quickly reduce even the most hardy Nin to jibbering wreck as their own chakra system dissolves and melts the flesh from their bones. This seals last 3 posts or until removed using a unsealing technique of A rank or higher
Name: Charka Immolation Seal Rank: A Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: Requiring 5 hand signs to perform the chakra immolation is another touch based seal with horrifying effects. Should a person be struck by this seal it will have the unfortunate effect of causing the stricken individuals localised chakra network to spontaneously combust causing immense internal damage and destroying the chakra coils within. Should it be allowed to spread through the system the resulting chain reaction will invariably kill the victim. Fortunately every chakra network has an internal defence system which will automatically react to the use of this seal by closing the nearest primary tenketsu point isolating attack and limiting the damage caused. Any limb struck so will effectively seize to be usable and will be unable to mould chakra and a direct hit to the chest or head is almost certainly fatal. This technique is incredibly effective when used on an individual who is gating should it manage to hit as the immense amount of chakra released in gating makes it impossible to seal ones tenketsu points effectively allowing its effects to spread throughout the victims chakra network
Name: Divine Judgement: 8 Gate Deconstruction Seal Rank: S Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: This technique was created by Howl Takashi to test the limits and his mastery of the art form. The Divine Judgement: 8 Gate Deconstruction Seal is among the most complicated and powerful seals ever devised. It was inspired after observing another Nin of gret power centuries ago who used gating in battle to great affect. He observed first hand the vast amount of chakra it unleashed and the damaging effects it had even on the elite Nin's well trained and experienced body. He devised a sealing technique that exploited it but it was far too complicated and time consuming too be combat effective. To correct the issue he designed an ever more complicated seal that replicated the convoluted and lengthy sealing process needed allowing the techniques to be performed in a fraction of the time. The sealing technique takes the form of a large complex seal arrangement tattooed over the user’s arm. It takes over 24 hours to apply to a person and requires an unparalleled understanding of seals and chakra manipulation. Failed or disrupted attempts to apply it can cause immense pain, personal injury or even permanently burn out the user’s chakra coils. Name: Divine Judgement: 8 Gate Release Immolation Sealing Technique (aka the living bomb technique) Rank: S Type: Fuuinjutsu Element: N/A Description: This seal requires a Divine Judgement: 8 Gate Deconstruction Seal to user effectively. It incorporates no less then 28 lesser seals within it, each with a defined role, whose combined result is far more then a sum of its individual parts. Its is heinously complicated in theory but is in practise simple to use thanks to the Divine Judgement: 8 Gate Deconstruction Seal effectively doing all the mind boggling manipulation needed for this technique. All the user needs to do is simply focus an immense amount of charka (equivalent to S ranks worth) into the seal at a steady rate over the course of one post to activate it. To an outside observer the individuals arm starts to glow in a bright golden hue as chakra appears to dance across his skin, for those who can see the flow of chakra the sight is truly astonishing with each individual strand being a tiny seal flowing in a breathtaking and unreal fashion. However their amazement soon fade as after activated the seal will form and the shining aura will turn blood red and radiate raw power. The user has 5 turns after activation to strike his opponent within the sealed arm before the chakra recedes. Holding it any longer will risk damaging the user’s own chakra network, potentially permanently. This technique combines a chakra immolation seal with a far more intricate series of seals with truly explosive effects that have one unfortunate purpose, to forcibly open all 8 of a persons internal chakra gates instantly. Gating even at lower levels takes extensive specialist training to endure and should be opened in stages to allow ones body to cope with the forces and pressure unleashed. In forcibly opening all 8 gates the toll on the body of the seal’s victim is unprecedented. The resultant chakra surge will instantly warp the victim’s chakra coils making further chakra manipulation impossible as well as causing unbelievable physical and mental pain as their chakra network is forcibly expanded beyond their natural limits, causing extensive internal injury. Unfortunately the worse is yet to come for the immolation seal has yet to activate. The user will do so remotely when at a safe distance and with horrific results. Under normal circumstances an immolation seal is stopped in its path with the victims chakra network sealing the nearest main tenketsu point to mitigate damage and stop its spread. However thanks to opening all the internal gats the chakra unleashed is so great that every tenketsu point is at bursting point, unable to seal itself, allowing for the immolation seals affects to spread throughout the victims chakra network. If the Nin in question is not on their knees before they will be now as their chakra system goes into critical mass and attacks the body directly melting their flesh from their bones. Superheated chakra will melt their eyes in seconds and pour out of the mouth and through there now empty eye sockets like beams of light. There skin will crack revealing a whirling vortex of chakra beneath. The screams of the victim and the eyrie light coming from them are all the warning those nearby will receive as a moment later then chakra within hits critical mass and explodes. The resulting explosion is unleashed as a sphere like wave of raw concentrate chakra reducing everything in the nearby vicinity to ash. Name: Kinobori no Waza - Act of Tree Climbing Rank: E Type: N/A Element: N/A Description: Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed

After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.

The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance. Type: Kinjutsu Rank: B Element: N/A Description: Kuchiyose • Rashoumon is a forbidden summoning technique used by Howl. Howl can summon it by drawing blood and then slamming his palm to the ground. Only a very powerful impact can mar the gate. C rank technique or lower will have no affect on it. A B rank technique will destroy it but no harm will come to Howl. A ranks are capable of piercing the walls defence and potentially striking Howl though the should this occur the damage is reduced by 2 ranks accordingly to reflect the strength lost breaking through it
Name: Sanjuu Rashoumon - Triple Rashoumon Type: Kinjutsu Rank: A Element: N/A Description: Sanjuu Rashoumon is a Ninjutsu summoning technique utilized by Howl. One Rashoumon gate alone was said to be one of his strongest defences, with this variation he can summon three of the gates in succession to help block a great incoming blast. Because the gates requires two summoning calls (a right and left), he will bite both his right and left thumbs to initiate the contract. While incredibly hardy the gates are not invincible and even if daemonic in nature are still fixed barriers and thus only capable of stopping attacks coming from a single direction. The Triple Rashoumon can not be harmed by c rank or lower techniques and will lose one gate per B rank technique used against and be wholly destroyed by a A rank technique though Howl will take no harm. S rank techniques will level all 3 gates but will only strike the user as if they were a A rank. If one has time or the inclination the best way to deal with these massive and powerful gates is to avoid them or go around them.

- Name: Vocalisation
Type: Genjutsu Transmission Technique Rank: N/A Element: N/A Description: A master of vocalisation, as Howl is, can use his larynx to shape chakra as effectively as any hand seal. A user of vocalisation can replace a needed hand seal by saying its name clearly while imbuing chakra in ones larynx. In this way they can use hand seal based techniques without need for the arms. Furthermore techniques formed in this way will effect any who hear the final hand sign allowing for the technique to take hold be means of sound rather then the usual method. While highly useful it does have some downsides:
1) All hand signs replaced in this way must be stated clearly and confidently to work, this normally makes it very hard to surprise anyone with it and normally puts people on their guard 2) Any traits or abilities to increase seal speed have no bearing on vocalisation. No matter how fast one can form hand seals the necessity to speak clearly and confidently makes vocalisation comparatively slow especially for uses highly adapted with hand seals
Vocalisation can be mixed with hand seals though the last handsign must always be vocalised if the user intends it to be a sound based genjutsu. For example to perform a genjutsu that requires 4 hand seals by doing 2 hand seals and 2 vocalisations, or 3 of one and one of the other though in all cases the last one must be vocalised for the gen to carried by sound

If the ninja is unable to detect the illusion very quickly, they can become exhausted mentally and physically when they are unable to reach their desired target by traveling along the same path over and over.
Name: Delay Type: Genjutus Variation Technique Rank: B Element:N/A Description: Any genjutsu may, for the cost of one rank more then it would normally cost, be made dormant only activating after a certain time, at a certain/date or event or the furfillment of a certain requirement is met. While dormant a technique can not be kai’d and can only be removed in the highly unlikely event its detected by a genjutsu user of the same rank as the jutsu used or higher and for the same amount of chakra used to create it.
Name: Kokuangyou no Jutsu - Journey into Black Darkness Technique Type: Genjutsu Rank: A Element:N/A Description: Kokuangyou no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique which causes the ninja's opponent to be enveloped in total darkness. kyousei no jutsu ~ The Art of CompulsionControl is subjective there are those that have it and those who think they do kyousei no jutsu better known as the Art of Compulsion is among the most subtle and manipulative forms of Genjutsu, rarely practised due to its complicated nature and the fact that its users tend to be by their very nature secretive and manipulative unwilling to share or divulge their arcane knowledge. Those who study this form of genjutsu are apt at using the power of illusion and deception to charm, compel and even dominate others. Not dissimilar in effect to the Yamanaka’s of Konoha a Nin specialised in this form of the manipulative arts learns to make others question not just their eyes, but the memories, thoughts and even their identities.

Rank: D Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: Requiring two hand seals or the use of a genjutsu focus it affects any in conversation with the user (or simply listening in) at the time of use. This technique affects everyone in conversation with the user at the time of activation. It is a potent yet simple technique that relies on the fact that the human mind with the proper inducement willingly accepts any logical reason for things. The convince technique manipulates the chakra around their brain causing them to become susceptible to the words of others and believe the users words to be true. This incredibly subtle and as such is limited in its application. It cannot be used to give an order or compel and must not be at odds to what the individual knows to be true. It can not for instance be used to convince them that certain actions or event that know occurred did not happen but can be used to add details or change perceptions of the events. This can be used to make guards or Nin think you are not who they are looking for or convince others that certain facts are true whether they are or not. While limited in use the best part of it is that it is very short lived lasting only as long as the user needs to convince the target, normally just a matter of seconds. Once convinced the users own belief in the fact will sustain it beyond, much as any one once convinced of a fact will believe till a stronger counter argument is used meaning that it is often used, finished and effective before others realise a gen has been used at all. Name: Charm Rank: D Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: A subtle genjutsu more at home in the bar and tea house then the battlefield. The Charm technique makes the user appear more appealing to the target and cause them to be more relaxed in their company. Requiring one hand seal or the use of a genjutsu focus it causes anyone who looks the user to be charmed in his company. This genjutsu affects any who can see the user at the time of use and lasts till the genjutsu is dispelled. A charmed individual will be reluctant to harm the user and will never initiate any battle with the user unless his mission requires him. Furthermore there is strong possibility that charmed individuals will move to help the user should a fight break out as one would do a close friend. This has no effect when battle has commenced. This technique is incredibly difficult to notice as it is designed especially to make the target feel comfortable and trusting in the user’s presence Difficulty: D Rank
Name: Confuse Rank: D Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: A simple yet effective technique. This genjutsu can be used either by means of handseal or use of a gen focus and lasts till the genjutsu is dispelled. When affected by these genjutsu individuals are easily confused and become unsure of them selves as the chakra around their mind makes it difficult to focus on things. It is hard to think clearly on things and they are more susceptible to other kyousei no jutsu, raising their difficulty by one rank. In addition in a non combat situation a victim of this technique tends to become muddled and is prone to forgetting what he is doing. In a combat situation it reduces the targets reaction speed by 25% and makes them easily thrown off be changes in tactics or circumstances. This effects lasts for 7 posts or until dispelled Difficulty: C Rank
Name: Harmless Rank: D Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: This genjutsu does no harm to its target. Requiring only two hand seals or the use of a genjutsu focus it causes anyone affected to view the user and his companions as harmless. Given its subtle nature it is generally very difficult to notice. This causes them to become complacent and consider them either not worth their time or little threat. Out of combat this technique can be used to keep off unwanted attention while in combat it limits affect enemies will never use a rank of their own rank, but rather at a rank below or less not wanting to waste chakra or such a miserable opponent. For example a B Rank Nin so affect will be limited to c rank techniques while technique is in effect. This lasts until either dispelled, the target is harmed by the user at which point the false complacency falls to weigh side or the target uses a Jutsu above the targets own rank. This technique is practically unnoticeable making very to detect Difficulty: D Rank
Name: Emotional Shift Rank: D Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: This causes the victim to feel specific emotions by inducing the victim’s mind into feeling them. This is most commonly used to get a victim into a desired state of mind such as making someone fearless fearful in preparation of using a fear inducing technique or making someone brave cowardly. This only affects one emotion which must be stated at the time of use. The genjutsu itself lasts only seconds but its effects last for 5 posts to reflect the time taken to suppress the emotions brought to the surface. Difficulty: C Rank
Name: False memory Rank: D-B Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: By use of either of 2 simple hand seals or a genjutsu focus and focusing on the target for 5 seconds howl can give the target a false memory replacing an old one. The power and thus the respective rank needed to do this is highly dependant on how different the memory was to the original with slight changes requiring little effort to do and being harder to see through. The more out of line with reality the change the more chakra is needed to soothe the targets sense of disbelief.
D Rank: Change details of a memory such as a numbers, words, colours, weather etc but the actions and the individuals concerned remain the same C Rank: Change actions or identity of individuals involved but not both as well as any basic detail B Rank: Change any part of a specific part of the memory
Should the genjutsu be broken before or during its application no change will occur but once the memory is changed dispelling the genjutsu will not change it back. It will take close inspection by a skilled genjutsu user or mind manipulator to notice the alteration and correct it. The technique itself only last 5 seconds and believed if successful its affects last till such a time as the victim is convinced otherwise by reasoned argument or removal of the false memory Difficulty: D-B Rank
Name: Compel Rank: C Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: A lesser form of domination. This genjutsu allows the user to instruct or give simple instructions to a target or group of targets who can hear his voice. After forming the necessary hand seals or using a genjutsu focus the user makes a simple request in a sonorous voice that seems to root itself in their psyche. Those who hear it find themselves drawn to the voice and an unquestioning urge to do as it says. The instruction must be obeyed as long as it doesn’t go against a characters nature, to force them to use jutsu/waste chakra, do anything that would cause them direct injury, stop them from directly completing their mission or forces them to leave the thread. It is not possible to cause the target/s to say cut themselves or abandon their missions or leave an ally behind to die. However it does include things such as movements by the victim, standing still or the performance of a simple act. Difficulty: C Rank
Name: Sleep Rank: C Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: A unusual fusion of convince and compel, sleep causes the target/s to become drowsy and feel an great urge to take a nap. The compulsion is strong and the victims truly feel tired and incredibly drowsy. The first post after the reaction speeds will drop 25% as sleep starts to take them, the next post to 50% as the legs fell leaden and eyes struggle to stay open. If they have not broken the jutsu by the 3rd post they will fall into a deep sleep from which they won’t arise unless someone else dispels the jutsu or 2 hours pass. The technique needs 3 hand seals or a genjutsu focus to perform Difficulty: C Rank
Name: Riddle Rank: C Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: A amusing vocal based technique that proves highly effective in battle. This genjutsu affects any who can here user at the time of use and lasts till the genjutsu is dispelled. This is the advance from of confuse inciting the same uncertainty but then adding a riddle with an insatiable urge to know the answer. Unfortunately confused as they are its very hard to concentrate and the riddle it self has no answer leaving the target in a state of great confusion, anxiety, uncertainty and most of all highly distracted. It is impossible to do techniques the require considerable concentration or time to perform in this state and the targets reaction time are reduced by 50%, making them slower and reducing seal speed accordingly as they spend most of the brain power stumbling to solve an unsolvable riddle. This lasts for 7 posts or until dispelled Difficulty: C Rank
Name: Breaking the habit Rank: C Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: Require 3 hand seals or the use of a genjutsu focus. A handy technique that cause the targets of it to consider it against their principles to perform an action or use particular items or techniques designated by the user. Be they evil or good alike the very thought of doing/using the action/item is repugnant to them while the genjutsu lasts. It can affect one thing aspect of an opponent which can not be chakra usage broadly but can include not using a speciality, element, weapon/item type or even their kkg. This does not affect the ability to use but rather their inclination too. For example if used on an Uchiha the user might induce the Nin not to use his sharingan, it will never remove or make the Sharingan unusable Difficulty: C Rank
Name: Heighten emotions Rank: B Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: Requiring the victim to form 2 hand seals or the use of a genjutsu focus. It also requires that the victim be subject to or in an emotional state to begin with. This technique plays on these emotions using illusions and subtle inducements to greatly increase their effect to the point where they start to seriously affect the target. This technique has the following effects in combination with certain emotions:
Fear: Causes the target to become terrified of a particular item or person. For the first post after the users is a paralysed in fear unable to move. For the following four posts the user will never willing come closer then 10m’s to the item/person and will fall back if pursued. Last 7 posts Anger: Causes the target to become blinded by rage. In this state he will become overcome with bloodlust and seek to kill whatever person is nearest regardless of their affiliation. They can only attack full out and cannot use defensive jutsu. It does have one positive side affect, the rage felt is so intense that they can ignore the pain of wounds sustained while affected. Lasts 7 posts Love: Causes the target to fall in love with a particular person or object and lavish them with their attention. They will allow no harm to this person, nor let them put themselves in or allow themselves to be used in a manner that might harm them. They feel compelled to defend them from all harm even at the risk of their own life. Lasts for 7 posts Emotion - Bravery: Causes the target to be reckless courageous to the point where he feels the need to throw himself into battle heedless of danger (though not entirely unaware of it) and of personal injury. For 7 posts the character may not back down, fall back or try to outflank others in battle and must seek a direct battle. He may still avoid attacks and use defensive jutsu but not in manner that would leave him immobile or pinned in position (i.e hiding behind a wall of earth). This applies even when the situation is clearly dire and it would be most prudent to retreat Jounin and higher ranking Nin tend to be less susceptible to this technique and I only affected for 3 posts if used on its own and 5 posts if used in concert with Emotional Shift Difficulty: B Rank, A Rank if twined with Emotional Shift
Name: False Death Technique Rank: B Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: The false death technique requires but one hand seal and good timing. It creates the illusion that user has died from the last attack or accumulated wounds. After a brief check for life signs will cause anyone searching them to conclude the user has snuffed it and that they should be about their business without further delay. This is often used to fake their death and causes opponents to leave considering the lives at an end. The difficulty of the technique is linked to the manner of death. The more likely death was the more convincing the technique and thus the more difficult to break. Difficulty: B Rank ~ Death is an unlikely consequence of attacks the user has sustained A Rank ~ Where there’s a very possible chance he may have been killed as result of injuries sustained S Rank ~ Where death seems the most likely result from the injuries he has sustained
Name: Altered Perception Rank: B Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: A cunning and scheming technique with often deadly results. This powerful technique subverts the impulses going to victim’s brain causing them to perceive a reality almost identical to the true one but with one difference. That the in their mind the user appears as their teammate and the teammate the user, the change is so subtle that its very difficult to notice but the effects are immediate, tragic and often fatal. Until dispelled the victim/target will assume the user is in fact their partner and their partner the user and act accordingly. In battle this often leads to the victim attacking the partner often catching him unawares. The locations and circumstances of either party prior to the technique do not matter and will not effect the victims belief, since the technique also alters the preconceptions of the victim in to thinking that everything is as it was and nothing is awry This technique is all the worse since it also allows the user to get in close to the target who assumes him friendly and land an expected killing blow. The only flaw with this technique is that only works on one person at a time so it will become quickly apparent to the partner what has happened and they will most likely try to dispel the technique. Failing to do so often has lethal consequences for both partners as one kills the other only to be killed in turn by the user. Difficulty: A for victim, B for anyone else
Name: Memory Erosion Rank: B Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: After performing the necessary hand seals or using a gen focus or vocalisation this subtle genjutsu targets the victims ability to recall memories, specifically techniques. Every post it remains active the target will briefly forget 4 of their techniques. Forgotten techniques can not be used and are forgotten in rank order starting at the users own rank and working down. The techniques temporarily lost in this manner are picked by the victim to reflect that this technique simply allows the user to block out memories not read or analyse them but must always be the highest rank he has available. This is cumulative with its effects worsening with each passing post. By the 4th post it remains active the victim will not be able to remember 16 top techniques. Once dispelled the victim the jutsu will stop though and the victims fully memories will be once more accessible. While no more difficult then a normal B rank to dispel this is a very hard technique to detect as it’s quite hard to notice losing memories you can’t recall having. It is often substantially easier for teammates to notice the changes in them then the victims themselves
Name: Memory Overload Rank: A Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: A horrific technique that doesn’t so much give specific memories it quietly pours them into the victim mind like avalanche. The memories and thoughts themselves are random and meaningless on the whole though the user can pass a massage via it should they choose. It is not the content so much as volume that makes this technique as shocking as it is deadly. In the matter of 3 seconds 1000’s of unwanted, unexpected generic memories and pieces of worthless information will flash through the victims mind clogging up their ability to process material. The affects are two fold: one the initial shock of the technique and second its equally problematic persistent effects. During the first post the target is mentally paralysed with shocks during which time trying to concentrate on any one thing is virtually impossible. If not moving the target will huddle in a ball due to the mental onslaught, if moving the will spend the post stumbling onwards in the same direction they were going when the technique was initiated. In every subsequent post they will manage to get some form of control but the memories will keep pouring in and in doing so temporarily dislodge those that are already there. Starting from the second post onwards the target will lose all their jutsu of their rank, then of the rank lower the next and so on until all the Jutsu’s are unrecallable. This loss is not permanent and should the genjutsu be broken will reverse their effects at twice the speed they were lost, restoring 2 ranks of knowledge per post. The are too numerous to be generated at random memories for this technique and thus must either be stored or taken directly form the user so if the user is not careful can lead to the victims learning things about them that they shouldn’t. Howl uses a modified mass seal on behind his right ear to contain the 1000’s of memory fragments needed, each of which he has painstakingly sifted through to check they cannot imperial and by doing so ensures that this technique has greatly limit unwanted side effects in this regard. Even so the snippets garnered make it clear to the victim, if it is not already known that he is a nin of some importance in Suna and prone to using manipulation to achieve his goals
Name: Domination (Forbidden Technique) Rank: S Type: Genjutsu (Kinjutsu) Element: N/A Description: While often considered weak and of questionable use by outsiders there are few more techniques as insidious or as wicked as the dominate. This genjutsu works be removing the targets free will and leaving his mind open to suggestions often of the gruesome sort. In practise it works in a similar way to compel with direct commands to the victim to do certain actions after activation though the concentration needed means it can only be used on one person at a time. It can be used to force people to do horrible things to civilians, their friends, even their loved ones. The technique is only effective on individuals of the users rank or lower, high ranking users being able to shrug off the intrusion. Targets of the same rank are affected for 3 posts, one rank lower for 4 posts and targets two ranks lower will be affected for up to 5 posts. It can be dispelled like all genjutsu but only before it activates properly or after first post of affect. During the first post the victim is too shocked by the harrowing experience of losing their free will to react. While in affect the victim must obey the orders of the user to the letter, from tying a knot in a robe to killing a loved one or attacking a teammate. Only an order to harm oneself or allow others to harm them can be resisted to a point though the technique the user can even instruct them to do just that if the spend a post concentrating with all their willpower on the target. To do so though they must not move and must maintain eye to eye contact throughout the post. The technique is not pleasant and its will leave victims of it shaken. Gen users are affected by one rank less then others due to increased ability to shrug off such mental intrusion | |

One they create (or weave as users like to say) a false or deceptive reality, two they often lock their victims in dream like states, three and most importantly they nearly all are designed to appeal directly to the victim. They hardly ever causes negative states of mind or inflict pain (or the illusion of it) or make their victims see their own death as so many genjutsu do. Dream weaver genjutsu, rather then terrify and inflict emotional trauma on their victim as most genjutsu do, almost singularly calm and relax them. While this makes them less dangerous and its effects less harrowing, it also makes them far harder to dispel or consciously leave. Victims more often then not prefer the fake reality offered by these techniques to the bleak real one and its victims often find themselves not wanting to break free. Rank: D Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: A minor genjutsu created and used by Howl. It requires that user be open and that his intentions be sincere to work. It quite literally creates an empathic bridge between the user and the target/s down which Howl sends thoughts and reveals the truths of his nature to the target (though never secrets). Not only is the action oddly reassuring but it makes other like minded individuals feel some kinship to Howl. Naturally this technique is only affective against those who are innately good or at least want to be, evil or naturally uncaring individuals remain unaffected. If the affected target was a foe they find themselves more reluctant to engage him and are likely to seek a peaceful resolution, if done on an ally it will bolster their courage and wash out feelings of fear and strengthen their resolve to continue.
Name: Wisp Rank: D Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: This genjutsu creates a figmental wisp, a shining tree spirit, in the minds of the target that darts back and forth according to users will. It will appear from the undergrowth as if it is presence was natural and unrelated to the user. This flying ball of playful energy shines mischievously and induces those who can see it to chase it only to dash off as they draw nearer. This technique is a great way to lure others to a certain place or lead them off from another. This technique counts as a rank higher if used in a forest area which real wisps are predominantly found but is ineffective in the desert as its presence there is hard to conceive. Understandably the ruler of Suna hasn’t had much use of this technique of late
Name: Daze Rank: C Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: A simple technique that makes the target/s see a beautiful firework erupt in front of them in their minds. It not only leaves the victim eager for more entertainment maker them more susceptible to other genjutsu but so close the bright bang the temporarily puts them in a blind stupor. For one post following they count as being blind and deaf and for two posts following they have trouble keeping their balance and will fall over if the try to do anything too athletic such as jumping, dodging, flipping or using shunshin no jutsu.

Name: Dazzle Rank: C Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: Similar to daze in nature but different in effect. Rather then create the impression of one powerful of beautiful firework going off nearby it creates a whole stream of fireworks that take to the sky above in a beautiful display that is never the same twice and tailored to best suit the tastes of the target/s. There is no illusion of a physical effect as with daze, there are not in any way dazed or stunned, however the targets are taken over by the bright colours, sparks and fireworks and feel drawn to watching them turning the attention away from the here and now. For 3 posts the target/s are highly distracted and react 50% slower to any attacks, concentrating on taking in the magical display then the subsequent actions of the user. This is very effective opener to a second attack

The amazement technique makes the illusionary fireworks display truly breathtaking and from the point of view of the jutsu’s target and unmissable event. While in effect targets cannot draw their eyes away from the sight and stand dead still mouths agape in amazement marvelling at the wonder of it. For the following post the target is considered effectively paralysed and must look directly up at the display forsaking all other things.

Name: Day Dream Rank: C Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: This technique causes the target/s mind to be transferred to a dream like world, call the veil which is controlled by the user. The target will in truth be fully awake and capable of full movement and actions but what they perceive is a world away from reality itself. The transition to veil is seamless and far harder to notice then one might imagine, for rather then a quick noticeable change from the real world to veil the target is made to believe they have woken up from a dream rather then fallen into one believing the battle or scene before hand was a figment of imagination, a cheese induced dream and the veil is the true world. At this level the users control over the veil is incredibly limited and therefore they cannot sculpt the dream for a defined result. The user cannot get the target to perform specific actions or act in certain way. The dream simply uses the target/s own memories to create a world akin to the own though it is always sunny, warm and usually involved the target believing themselves in the company of friends and family. The dream is always pleasant and will leave the target feeling oddly refresh. The waking dream will last until it is dispelled. In practise where someone else is not on hand to do this for them then it will depend on how long it takes for the target to realise they are trapped in a genjutsu, the speed of which is dependant on their rank and whether they have genjutsu speciality. All Nin whatever their rank will notice what they are seeing is not reality after 5 posts. Genjutsu specialists will notice 3 posts earlier while Nin of a higher rank will notice 3 posts earlier per rank. In practise this means that when used by a B rank Nin this will be noticed by an A rank genjutsu or an S rank non user for what it is immediately. The technique requires considerable concentration to maintain and as such no new genjutsu may be used by the user while genjutsu remains active. Real world pain/damage will break this technique instantly.

Name: Euphoria Rank: C Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: A more potent variation of dazzle. Euphoria puts the target/s in a euphoric state making everything the see and here seem wondrous and amazing. Everyone is covered in brilliant auras that make even moving look cool and breathtaking. To an affected individual even the most mundane act seems amazing and they find themselves unwittingly watching techniques and movement with bated breath even to the exclusion of anything else. The target finds themselves constantly distracted suffering the same 50% reduction to reaction speed and should they see any highly visible (genjutsu and other subtle techniques will have no affect) technique of a higher rank then they are (such as a C rank Nin observing a b rank Ninjutsu taking place) they will naturally clap and yell in appreciation like a avid sport fan watching a big game for the post after making it impossible for them to form hand signs. This genjutsu lasts until dispelled

Name: The Grand Ball Rank: B Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: This genjutsu cause the target/s to believe that far from what they are actually doing, they in truth attending a masked ball in their honour and those about them are other party goers. Normally such a change from reality would be immediately noticeable but the joy of event and the flattery the target believes the receive causes them to quickly believe the ball is the true reality. Until the technique is dispelled the user will waltz about trapped in an illusionary dance. If multiple targets are affected they will dance together in time to music no one else can here. This lasts only for time for one dance, normally 2-3 posts and the experience is ironically spiritually refreshing restoring to its victims a d ranks worth of chakra but only if it is not dispelled prematurely.

Name: Lost in Paradise Rank: B-S Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: Identical in nature to day dream but far more powerful and convincing. Rather then change the targets self identity as in second life this technique focuses on the user pouring chakra into making the target/s dreams a reality. When affected by this technique and individuals every whim and fantasy becomes, at least to their mind a reality. What ever their nature or taste this genjutsu makes their deepest wish come to life. Unlike most Wish Weave techniques the target/s of it are fully aware it’s a genjutsu, given life could hardly compare to the experience they are dreaming but is still harder to break free from then regular genjutsu. Simply put victims of this technique do not unconsciously want to leave the paradise it creates. It takes time for a target to bring themselves to leave it behind by means of dispel. The time it takes is dependant on the rank an ability of the victim:
Victim same rank as user: 3 Posts Victim one or more ranks lower: 5 posts Each rank the victim is higher: 2 posts less Genjutsu speciality: 3 posts less
Victims of technique are spiritually refreshed by the experience and gain a C ranks worth of additional chakra. It is of course possible for another unaffected individual to break at any time by regular means but the victim doesn’t benefit from the chakra gain
Name: Second Life Rank: A Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: The next stage up from day dream. This jutsu once again takes the user in the dream world known as the void however where as before the user could not effect substantially affect the targets perception using this technique the user can now significantly change the view on the world. By altering the nature of the target’s very perception of who they are with this technique the user can make them think they are other people or creatures and act accordingly. Unlike in day dream the veil is deliberately thin so that the world appears very similar to the real one but from the perspective of this new person or creature. While under effects a user must act in the manner of this person/animal to the best of their own knowledge. The user can then tweak the veil to engender a specific response to which in their new identity the target feels beholden to react to. For example this can be used to make the target/s to think they are in fact a pig/s and should they be shown a mythical bucket of slop they will run over to it on all fours. Strangely enough the life is oddly fulfilling, a welcome break from the constraints and worries or reality. All these identities are intentionally ignorant of a means to dispel genjutsu, so an initial thought on how to do so will produce no results. It requires not only that a victim realize he is in genjutsu (i.e. not who he thinks he is) which can be done by spending at least one post concentrating on how they got here at which point they will remember just long enough who they really are and that he have a means to dispel genjutsu.
If the target is already is under the effects of Day Dream at the time of use the above technique costs only a c ranks worth of chakra to perform as much of the ground work for the technique is already done
Name: Dream Walk Rank: A Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: A rank or higher Dream Weave users are more commonly referred to as Dream Walkers or Veil Striders. They close affiliation to veil, the world of dreams, allows them to enter dreams as though it were the waking world. Within the dreamscapes of the mind they are no more accomplished travellers capable of shaping and shifting them to desire. With the dream walk technique users can enter the dreams of others. This is not as simple as it seems requiring a B ranks worth of chakra and a direct link to the target. The must either know them particularly well (close allies/colleagues and subordinates), know there exact real world location or have a personal item which can be used as a focus. As long as one of these restrictive requirements are met the user can enter the dreams of others and once there use dream weaver genjutsu as if there in the flesh. It also commonly used as means on long range communication. While dream walking the user is equally vulnerable to dream based genjutsu but cannot be harmed directly by the target
Name: Reflect Dream Rank: A Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: Upon reaching A rank and the position of Dream Walker, dream weaver users learn a technique not dissimilar to the Uchiha’s infamous magen allowing them to not just dispel a dream based genjutsu but causes its effects to reflect back on the user. Unlike magen it only applies to dream based genjutsu or genjutsu that transport the target to dream like world/dimension separate from our own. Using this technique it is possible to dispel a dream bases genjutsu as though it were a rank lower and reflect it for chakra equal to the amount used to create the genjutsu
Name: Corrupt Dream Rank: C-A Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: This jutsu is lone exception to the standard dream weaver philosophy of appeasing rather then harming a target. At all ranks a dream weaver user can corrupt a dream weaver user can if they so wish corrupt a active dream based dream weaver technique changing it from a euphoric experience into a horrific nightmare vile enough to break the hardest of men. Doing so however not only breaks the existing gen but reduces the difficulty ranking of the next dream weaver technique by one as contrary to normal the target has no wish to fall victim to such horror again. The affect varies according to the rank and is easier to detect then most others due to the startling change it brings about however the shock it creates often makes it more difficult to break as Nin struggle to gather the thoughts and perform Kai:
C Rank – The user believes them selves to be chased by a nightmarish daemon intent of consuming their soul. It gives off killing intent and power far in excess of a mere human and reeks of death and pain. It evokes blind terror in the victim causing them to flee away. The user can control the creatures direction and in so doing herd their target to specific area or location. Lasts 7 post or until dispelled. Difficulty = B Rank B Rank – Similar to above though now the daemon is joined by a horde of his equally wicked and misshapen brethren. Same effects as before but should the jutsu last for 3 full posts without being dispelled the daemons will finally surround and leap onto the traumatised victim. There the will seemingly hold him down and subject them to inhuman torture. Until broken the target believes themselves unable to move and thus in real life their body becomes pinned to the ground unable to move. Difficulty = A Rank A Rank – Akin to the b rank version but all the more dangerous. This daemon the daemon is replaced by which ever bijuu the target most fears. As with the other techniques he will experience terror however the secondary effects are both faster and more dangerous. After the second full post the target will consider them selves pinned to the ground and on the third post while it is in effect believe themselves consumed by the beast. The feasting appears to last forever in the jutsu but in reality lasts just a few seconds. If the user hasn’t broken the technique by the end of the third post they will become unconscious from the experience. The can not be broken from this state for at least 3 posts subsequently.
If the target is already under the effects of Day Dream at the time of use the above technique costs only a c ranks worth of chakra to perform at a B rank level as much of the ground work for the technique is already done.
Name: Selfless Defence Rank: A-S Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: This genjutsu creates a dream like world overlaying the real one where the target believes themselves to be the last and only line of defence for what the hold closest in the hand. Be it their village, family, clan or something else all Nin would risk their life for something and this genjutsu abuses this fact mercilessly. It creates a false impression they must use their chakra to create a great barrier whose creation will forever protect their most prized person/people/item from their opponent who appears too powerful to stop by normal means. The target believes that the shield is the only option has left. While danger, shield and the people/item in need of protection aren’t really there the opportunity to waste chakra foolishly maintaining this non existent chakra construct is considerable. While the jutsu remains in effect the target lose chakra equivalent to a jutsu of their own rank every turn. Furthermore they feel the need to remain close to the barrier to better keep and eye on it. Should the user run out of chakra as is not uncommon with this technique, charka exhaustion may well kill them
Name: Rest of the Martyr Rank: A Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: A powerful technique that creates in the mind of the target the impression of death, in this case their own. It makes them believe the have been struck by a fatal blow and they will feel their spectral form leave their mortal body to go on to the next life whatever that may be. The target will go to whether he believes he will, be it heaven, hell, limbo or somewhere else entirely. Whichever one the go to the genjutsu feels very realistic giving their impression that the soul has passed on and the concerns of the mortal body and life are over. The truth is the user is still very much alive but while the genjutsu continues locked in a dreamlike state, unable to do anything but the most basic movement and without coherency. The difficulty of the technique is directly proportionate to how convincing the death was and is largely dependant on the situation before hand. Where the target is fresh, eager and with no real prospect of death it counts as a B rank, where death is a strong possibility as with most conflicts it counts as an A rank. Only when death seems certain or highly likely by the user will it counts as an S rank for purposes of difficulty.
Name: Howl’s Living Castle Rank: S Rank Type: Genjutsu Element: N/A Description: Howls most powerful dream walker technique. It transports the user to Howl’s own fabricated world in the veil he calls his castle beyond the Veil. The world itself is already there a private creation that was the focus of decade’s of painstaking work and takes the form of vast rambling castle floating sedately in the clouds. This home away from home is an extension of himself and can be shaped and changed at will. The high chakra requirement involved relates to the amount need to fully immerse an uncooperative mind into it. Once inside people are faced with a vast castle filled with unimaginable wonders though most see little more then endless corridors the lead no where, rooms fall of mirrors that go on for ever. The castle is a creation of mind can be manipulated and changed at will by Howl. To represent this Howl may perform up to 2 unbanned wind or earth based ninjutsu of A rank or lower every post for free to reflect his will bring it in to being for no cost. It is not immediately possible to Kai this technique as the user awed and confused by the castle forgets how to. Only as the castle tries to kill them and the actively seek a means to escape will they remember how.
Time before realisation: S Rank: 3 Posts A Rank: 4 Posts B Rank: 6 Posts C Rank: 8 posts

Any damage taken by either party will not manifest itself physically but will do so mentally. Minor harm will slow the individual’s reactions for 3 posts by 25%, moderate harm by 50%, and major harm by 75%. Death inside will leave the target unconscious for 24 hours in the real world. This technique requires that Howl do no other jutsu while maintaining it. Any techniques used by either target or Howl beyond his allowance are effective if only against the mind in reality and as such cost chakra that at reduce cost of 50% less then normal while in the castle.
This technique can be used for more easily and at a fraction of the chakra cost (C Rank) if the target is willing to enter it. This is not recommended for individuals whom Howl might try to kill as it gives him considerable advantages | |

| I think I will leave this app up and add to it. This way I can get all my techs approved should they be needed. In the meantime I will make a new one (still at a loss as to how to cut to 35, Jashinist might well be easier). Given this theres absolutely no rush to complete this big boy | |
