Uchiha v Shihai [Privatish?]

'Shihai Togyou? Shihai Togyou... Shihai Togyou... I don't know why but it sounds a little familiar. Perhaps I'm just too old. Shihai sounds familiar but Togyou... Hn... Yamiyo?' 'I don't know him. But I assume he's at least a decent ninja if you're fighting him. But... do you intend on fully fighting him at full power?' '... I don't know... Maybe.' 'I see... alright then. If you do intend to do so... call on me first.' But Akiko didn't answer him. Instead she merely nodded lightly and glanced outside of the Hokage's windows.

There were dark clouds forming already... rain? Thunder? Lightning? She frowned a little at this, she didn't like getting wet. Unless... well unless it was blood, but that was a different story. For awhile she had stood there for a few seconds, but soon enough left as well, taking a roundabout path to the Training Grounds. She didn't want to appear too familiar with the village, did she?

Walking about the streets, she watched as the children played ninja and the ninja relaxed or trained, whilst the adults talked or worked. She thought about it briefly, but what if she were to... be normal? Would she have been one of those children running about playing ninja? Be some kind of ninja by now, not this wandering homeless, nothingness that she was now? She didn't know... and she wasn't sure. But the thought was fleeting and soon passed.

Instead she wondered if she might drop by the old Uchiha Complex... For some reason the name Uchiha seemed oddly familiar, yet dark at the same time. She had asked Yamiyo about it a few times, but he didn't say anything, only that she had fought an Uchiha once. She didn't remember the fight though. Maybe that Uchiha was a weakling, someone not worth remembering... but... everyone was worth remembering, weren't they? To someone, somewhere, out there... right?

As she felt the first drops of rain she wondered about summoning her cloak and hood, but decided against it for the time being. If the rain got worse she'd probably summon them. Slowly she finally came to the training grounds. The rain had picked up by now and whether they were there or not, she didn't see, nor did she care for much at the moment. The rain meant little to her, as did the thunder and lightning and darkness that was steadily approaching, muffling them. Reaching down to her ankle, she summoned forth her more usual attire and easily slipped them on from years of practice.

The hood falling into place, and her scarf secured and covering her mouth, the dampness from the rain soon disappeared. It'd be awhile before her things got soaked completely, or at least she hoped so. If this guy used water then... well she'd have to either fail quickly or end the fight quickly. She really didn't like getting wet at all. That and she hadn't fed in the past two days or so. The longer the fight went on, the more likely she was going to want his blood... or Shi's blood.

Waiting, she glanced up at the tree's branches and foliage above her. It blocked the rain some, but the tree was old and didn't offer much protection. Come to think of it, why was she standing there when it was lightning too? Ah well, better move despite the rain. Moving away from the gnarly, old tree, she spied out the area. Nothing special, nothing really advantageous. Just a grassy field with the odd tree or so marking out the edges of the training area. An open sky, no lakes, no dense foliage, no brush, no rocky outcroppings... just grass... Grass and rain. Not very different from Kusa some days.

But there were a few things missing... Shi... and her opponent.

'Shihai Togyou... what kind of person are you?' thought Akiko quietly as she waited for them to either show up or show themselves.

‘He’s certainly different from the normal ninja…’ thought Akiko silently as she turned slightly to catch a glance at him. For the most part, she let him speak his mind and didn’t really comment. Socializing with others really wasn’t something she enjoyed and even if she was going to be someone new, she wasn’t exactly interested in becoming known as a talkative person. ‘But he is mad at something it seems, advantage?’ asked Yamiyo silently. Akiko only shook her head no in answer. For some reason she felt like this boy wasn’t… going to be easy? Yes, that was a simple way to put it. He didn’t seem normal at all, and she highly doubted his fighting abilities would be normal either.

The rain was irritating, but at least the rain clouds blocked out the sunlight. Lightning flashed behind Togyou, giving him an eerie look. His silvery-white hair reminded Akiko much of herself, or at least of the Hatake Clan anyway. As she sized him up she wondered why the Hokage had chosen him to fight her. As far as she could tell he seemed more like the physical type, not really one of the ninja arts, but ehh who knew? But she was beginning to detect thoughts that made her wary of him. Was he a sensor type or something? He had seemed to have registered something about her, what she didn’t know, but his emotions has shifted slightly as if noticing something or other.

‘How to start…’ wondered Akiko momentarily before throwing a handful of kunais at Togyou that would attack him in the form of three waves. She wondered if he’d be able to dodge them all. They weren’t allll normal either, far from it. She might not be a weapon specialist, but she could utilize them well enough, especially if they had her own chakra in them. And asides from the kunais, Akiko didn’t move too much, she did turn so she could see him though, wanting to gauge his reaction speed and see just how far she should go.

‘You’re not going to go all out?’ ‘…. No… Not yet. I still haven’t decided yet.’ ‘I see…’
