| The meat cooking over the fire was all that Adair was focused on as Yoshi began to speak of her joining of the Akatsuki. Some stuff about joining for power and she liked to get used. She liked to get used? Wait maybe he misheard that. "woah woah woah... You like to get used? I could find some good uses for you" A sadistic grin came across Adair's face as he looked up at Yoshi. He had seen a female naked before, but only hung upside down while the blood was drained from the jugular and even then he felt no sexual desire for the body parts that most men commonly feel while looking at such things. The lumps of fat that rest on their chest did nothing for him, as that was what he saw mounds of skin over fatty tissue. And the orifices were just holes that were used for humanly functions and mating was a calculated approach that took multiple attempts to achieve the wanted goal of creating offspring. Snapping back to reality Adair noticed the deer meat was fully cooked and pulled them away from the fire offering Yoshi a piece.
"Me? why did I join the Akatsuki? I joined the Akatsuki for my own reasons, but it's mostly only because I thought that killing would be all that I did. Really I haven't done much for the Akatsuki, but I've been thinking of other things to do while I wait. I really don't understand your reasoning behind joining, but I guess my lack of emotion removes any need for goals or other things. Everything I do is a calculated choice. You think me running into you in that shop was random? No. You think my irritating you to the point of wanting to punch me was just my personality? While I may have enjoyed it, no it was another thing done to my advantage. I might know more about you then you think. As long as you understand that I don't or won't kill you because I find that killing you would put me in more of a disadvantage than killing you. The only thing that happened without me wanting it to is my second personality showing, in fact that may have saved me from getting punched earlier. So it might have been a better thing then what I thought. Anyways, what family do you have? you titillate my interests just a little fyi, and also a word of warning."
Adair then took a bite of his meat and waited for a reply, but for some reason he expected a lie. This didn't seem to be a subject she wanted to talk about, but if she did want to then it was to keep him away from the subject further. Even if she had started to talk Adair opened his mouth and laughed slightly. "I don't remember my family, they might have been my first people that I killed. Maybe I kill those I love. Maybe those that I love I kill, simply to see why I love them. Believe it not the heart is not the organ of love, the organ of love is the brain. Most people say that the brain is the best part of a person, but I'd say that's the skin. No one likes to see a person's muscles or nervous system." Another bite of his deer meat, leaving only a third of the meat in his hand. A human probably tasted better than this, but remembering back a human's meat was tough. Very tough it took lots of grinding a human's meat in the mouth in order to eat it, but if you want a tasty part of a human you should eat the liver. In his mind Adair made a list of tastiest organs from most to least and the first two were Liver and Heart. The heart tasted of blood which had that iron taste that he loved, with those thoughts another sadistic smile crept across his face and words escaped his lips. "I love the taste of a human's blood."

| And he just -had- to get that wrong. It almost called for a really sarcastic applause. Really... why do I bother to try and communicate with this man? The only response she gave was a blank expression before she sighed and kept her attention again on the meat. She really really didn't want to know what uses he would have in mind for her, it was most probably something sick and twisted that would make even herself change her expression upon hearing it. Why there were some people in the world that took such pleasure from violence and gore was something she would never understand. Yoshiko took a piece of the meat and nibbled on it while listening to him talk again. The meat tasted heavenly, making Yoshiko's mouth water just at the first bite. After hours of traveling her body naturally was craving for some energy. And well even if Adair was a twisted thing, then it seemed like he knew how to cook meat well under poor circumstances. His own reasons for joining Akatsuki didn't seem anything to get surprised over, boredom and need for killing was something that seemed to rush over most. Yoshiko wondered what she would do actually if she'd find her sister. Did that mean her goal was over? What did she do then? Would she be able to settle down and become like any other person? Not very likely.. she didn't though want to bring her sister into this world of hers. I wonder if I can hide from the Akatsuki if to that would come... probably not. And I don't want someone like him here in front of me to hunt me down.
Hmm calculated choice eh? She already had thought it wasn't a random thing they met in that shop. Especially after he had handed her the flower she had dropped. "Certainly you might know some things about me, but I am very well assured that none of those things really matter. I wouldn't either be so sure I'd have actually punched you, seeing that I find it likely you would have liked it even more than I ever would." What she didn't mention however was that him accidentally revealing his other personality was something she would possibly be able to use, since she already knew that if he had both eyes uncovered a person without fighting skills would appear. Meaning she had a very good information about how to best take him down if needed, although she didn't make the mistake of thinking it would actually be that easy to get him to open both eyes. "I don't have any family. They died, pretty simple and nothing much to it." Liar... But well that was halfway the truth, and she didn't even hesitate when answering. She -had- lost her whole family 9 years ago and Yoshiko tried to not look at it as any big deal, since she didn't need to be thinking again and again about the past.
What an interesting thing to say.... As she kept nibbling on her meat, Yoshiko watched Adair as he spoke. "So you aren't really the typical child of sorrow in the ninja world as I'd like to call it. Somehow it kinda doesn't surprise me." So he didn't think that the heart was the source of love? Yoshiko had never actually thought about that. The brain was usually there to stop her from doing things that she might regret, but the heart.... wasn't it the heart's fault if you felt that tingle down in your stomach and that made your face blush? Based on that small pondering of hers, she didn't agree with Adair completely. But it was also clear to her that no one would really be able to prove either thing. Skin? How can skin be the best part? Glancing down at her hand, Yoshiko raised her other hand and pinched at her skin lightly. No, there wasn't really anything she could say that was fascinating about it. Cannibalism? Charming... Yoshiko shrugged and ate the last part of her meat before leaning back against the rock again. "I think all blood is the same... it's red and has an iron taste to it. Although I can't really say I taste human blood for fun." She had been punched a few times and had some damage done to her that made her taste her own blood, it had also happened that blood had splattered up in her face when she had been killing someone even if she tried to be neat about it most of the time. However it really didn't feel any different to her than the blood of an animal.

| A hint of Sado-Masochism was in what Yoshi had said. A punch feeling good? Adair never understood this concept. but obviously some people had some screws loose and instead of pain they felt pleasure. Maybe it was a part of the human soul, as inside of the body almost everyone was exactly the same. Adair had to shake his head to get back to reality. Yoshi claimed that her whole family died, which Adair was finding hard to believe. He had a choice to make, pursue Yoshi until she confesses or let it go. While pursuing the truth would be fun, it would probably stack hours onto the journey. Child of sorrow? Adair wasn't really sure what this meant, as he had never really heard this terminology before. A piqued interest forced Adair to ask the question that was on the tip of his tongue. "What do you mean, child of sorrow?"
The taste of the blood was the same? No. The iron level in everyone's blood was different so some people have a more metallic taste then others. Some people's blood tastes like water, while others taste like licking the earth itself. The taste of blood tingled in Adair's mouth even while he was eating the deer meat. While the meat was savory and cooked to perfection, the taste was that of a human's liver raw. While the first taste wasn't bad, you had to struggle to keep the aftertaste down. Most found that eating a liver with fava beans would effectively remove all aftertaste. He finished off his deer meat and put out the fire. "Come on we don't have long before Ame, faster we get there the sooner we can relax. And trust me I need to rest, I didn't sl... I mean I need a nap." The long night of protecting the cave had started to take it's toll on Adair's eyelids as they began to protest being open with a fierce vengence. Adair stood up and picked up his pack and started to walk along at a lazy pace. This journey was a blessing and a curse, it had been a blessing that he wasn't as bored while he was walking, but a curse that such a tantalizing woman was pulling at the only emotions that he had. Perhaps all woman were capable of this, but perhaps it was only because of her deathly aura that Adair liked her.
The walk was drawing on with an awkward silence between the two. Adair was basically sleep walking, with the path in front of him being the only thing he was concentrating on. Finally he tripped on a rock and went face first into the ground without stopping himself. Adair slowly got himself up from his face plant. I bloody face replaced the old one as he sat up and looked at the woman. "Fuck... hold on let me fix this" A blue light covered Adair's hand as he healed his forehead. With a wipe of his sleeve there was hardly any blood left on his head and he got up and started walking again more awake now. "Come on let's go, and hurry up I'm fucking tired"

| Well it was to be expected he didn't know exactly what she meant when Yoshiko spoke of children of sorrow. He seemed to be slightly more interested in what she had to say than he would ever confess, making her hesitate as she was going to refuse talking more about it. I guess there isn't any harm in keeping up the chat. "What I would call a child of sorrow is someone that at a young age has it all... a family..good home.. and then gets it taken away too quickly for the child's mind to actually be able to grasp. This child was supposedly happy before, but is now all of the sudden alone because someone decided to take the lives of it's loved ones. Now this child would either grow up to be someone that searches for vengeance and gets stronger while only growing hate in his or hers mind, or then that child decides to die along with it's family." This was of course only her opinion, so Yoshiko wasn't going to pursue that any further as she disliked trying to convince people of thinking the same as she would. She wasn't sure if she would label herself as that type of a child of sorrow. Surely she had gotten it all whisked away from her, but she -had- gotten her revenge at that same time.
Getting up again, stretching and fixing the katana on her back felt good... Yoshiko actually always felt good after meals. When she was done eating and she felt that feeling of fullness... it somehow reminded her that she was like everybody else with at least that feature. She got hungry... had to eat and felt like others did when done eating. While they were getting ready to go, he started talking again. But Adair stopped his sentence off before he finished a single word, making Yoshiko glance at him as he then continued talking. So it wasn't just my imagination.. he did seem rather tired and that night before I could hear he was restless. She didn't have anything against hurrying up so he was allowed to "decide" their speed of the journey for now. However, Yoshiko decided it was her turn to do something as her companion tripped and faceplanted the ground. No one would fall that hard right on their faces unless they were incapable of normal movements or were practically half asleep while walking. There didn't seem to be any great damage to him though, as to Yoshiko's surprise he seemed to be able to heal that scratch on his forehead with a single swipe of his hand. Does he know medical jutsus?
"Hold it right there." Walking in fast steps, Yoshiko was in front of him in a second as she cupped Adair's face between her hands while studying him. "You are close to passing out from sleeplessness, and a traveling companion like that wont do me any good. Don't think I would fight your battles if we would get attacked." As she seemed to be done with looking at his face and in his eye she stepped to the side and reached behind him. Grabbing at the bag he had on his back, Yoshiko took it away from him and put it on her own back without giving any chance for protests. Looking around she spotted a place not far away that seemed to be nice for a stop. It was surrounded by trees and was close to a small river. "You will rest for an hour or two. Follow me." When Yoshiko decided on something, she stuck to it. Now if he would want his bag back he would have to fight her for it. And if he planned on keep going, she would most likely knock him out. While drawing closer, Yoshiko slowed down before sneakily walking around as she had all her senses alert. While checking the surroundings she moved to the side and swiftly jumped up to grab at a low branch on a rather large tree that had been next to her. With the agility of a cat, she was up to the top in a matter of seconds while she looked around. Being satisfied with what she observed, Yoshiko jumped from a branch to branch down and landed with a low thud on the ground.
Would Adair obey that sudden change of roles, or was he going to put up a fight? With a calm expression, the Tomoko girl waited to see what would happen. She hoped he would go along with what she said since they didn't really have time for any fights. And it was true what she had said before, if they would get attacked then he wasn't in any state to be fighting. The sleepiness always interfered with ones fighting skills, as it dulled the senses.

| Child of sorrow, sounded weird. What kind of person would be driven by revenge? A person that has no other purpose then revenge finds their lives meaningless after they effectively get their revenge. Going to rest, while this would add minutes if not hours to the travel time. Adair had to agree as he was completely unable to think straightly. Yoshi lead him to an empty area that was suitable for him to sleep in. Taking a few moments to clear off an area for himself to sleep on. Adair laid down and quickly fell asleep.
A vivid dream started up as he slept. Yoshi's head morphed into a green cartooney dragon. A plumber dressed in overalls and a red hat went around jumping on mushroom like things while on top of Yoshi. The red-hatted plumber would collect certain mushrooms and grow larger. A horrible plumber in overalls and a green hat enviously eyed the red hatted plumber. Everything the red hatted plumber did the green hatted plumber was worse at. A giant turtle kidnapped a princess that would whore herself out to the plumbers, thus creating a plot in Adair's dream. A castle suddenly appeared in the middle of nowhere forcing the red hatted plumber that wanted his whore back to enter it. A ghost that was unable to move while you looked at it was a fierce nemesis for this red hatted plumber, but it wasn't the only one. Anvils that would fall and then come back up were everywhere as the turtle wanted to kill everyone that wanted their cheap whore back. To help the red hatted plumber the green cartoon dragon let the red hatted plumber atop of him and rode him around the castle. But the castle was a decoy made by the turtle to throw off the simple minded plumbers. The plumbers continued to check every single castle until there was only one left. After many hours of checking each castle the final castle only took them about five minutes and the turtle was easily beaten. The whore then thanked the red hatted plumber by giving him a session for free, while ignoring the green hatted plumber and leaving him with her fat hairy sister.
Adair woke up after the sight of seeing such an ugly person. It had only been an hour in real life, but it had been a whole day in his dream. Fully awake he got up and started to look around for Yoshi, but he couldn't see her anywhere nearby or he was still tired and was missing her. Stretching out as he started to move around a bit. Adair looked for some sign of the woman he had been with and hoped that she hadn't left him for some odd reason. "You out there? HELLO!?" Deciding to just let her reply if she would and continuing on without her was the best idea. Adair picked up his stuff and walked back to the pathway, slowly starting to walk along. "If you are nearby Hurry up and answer me or I'm leaving you!"

| To her surprise but also pleasure, then Adair didn't seem to have anything to say against her ordering him to rest. While watching him lay down and get comfortable the Tomoko girl finally turned on her heel and walked slightly away. She was going to give him the privacy he needed to he could rest properly, and also then Yoshiko needed her private time to think a little and relax. It was getting a little difficult to chat on like this, and she knew it would do them both much good to have this break. While stretching her lean body and letting her neck crack, Yoshiko looked around the beautiful scenery around her before turning her attention upwards to the sky. A few clouds drifted lazily around above her, making her feel slightly at ease while being able to watch them in peace. A thing she had noticed earlier as she scouted the area from the high tree was that they were much closer to Amegakure than she had predicted at first, they would probably reach that village by nightfall even if they took a break. It felt relieving as she was starting to crave her shower more and more, plus the privacy of her small but comfortable apartment.
While moving forward on silent footsteps, Yoshiko made her way towards a particularly big tree with heavy branches. Using her strength and agility, she climbed up like a cat before walking out on one of the big branches. Sitting down with her legs dangling down from it, the Akatsuki girl lifted her face again to the sky and let her purple eye slowly follow the clouds after while guessing what their shapes mostly reminded her of. She had a good view there also and wasn't far away from the place Adair was resting, so Yoshiko didn't hesitate to let her senses dull slightly while allowing her mind to drift. She had been sitting there for a few minutes when she heard something that caught her attention, making her turn her head slowly to the side and glance to the ground under her dangling feet. Not far away, a man was walking through the forest. His movements were slow and careful as if he was hunting or looking for something. Perhaps he was even looking for her and Adair. Yoshiko stood slowly and moved closer to the tree itself rather than standing there out in the open on the branch. The clothes of the man weren't anything to be noticed, but she knew somehow by his movements and the aura he gave that this wasn't some ordinary person there.
Wasn't he one of those in the coffee shop? It amazed her he had managed to follow them this far without them really noticing. He had probably traveled mostly when it was dark and they weren't as much up with their guard. A thief? He was probably looking for their trail, wondering why they had all of the sudden gone in this direction instead of keep going. Well I have to check to be sure.. Closing her eyes, she let her body fall down from the branch and land silently crouching on the ground below without a single sound before springing up on her feet and jogging in the direction she had seen the stranger go. When she was close enough to hear his footsteps and breathing, she stopped, waited. "Darn it.. where did they go!?" Assuming that by -them- he meant her and Adair, Yoshiko sighed inwardly. They couldn't really be helping anyone follow them to Amegakure, and even if this man was probably a very professional tracker then she doubted anything else about him was something out of the ordinary. He had a dark beard covering most of his face and rather messy hair that seemed to really be needing a bath. His form was rather muscular and he was tall, most probably towering over Yoshiko if she'd stand next to him.
"Might you be talking about me and my partner?" Stepping into the light, Yoshiko tilted her head to the side while watching the look of wonder and then fright appear on the man's face. "H-how did you find out?" Way to blow your cover.. "Now that I have it confirmed you really were following us, then what is your business?" His shifty eyes, changed stance, irregular breathing... all that told her just how stressed he became as he realized what he had just said. Now there was nothing he could do to try and lie about not having followed them, and so he had to play by her rules. "Ah..I needed a-an escort t-to the Rain Village." Escort? What did he think this was? "Last time I knew, no one followed some strangers to a village known to be quite the questionable one just for some escorting. I will give you one last chance to answer, and choose your answer well." Gritting his teeth, he seemed to have come to the conclusion that she wasn't someone to easily listen. "Alright, I have a business with a guy there but I didn't know the way to the village, and so I figured you and mister killer guy that seems to be traveling with you now were going to be showing me where to go."
Sighing again and reaching to her back, Yoshiko grabbed the hilt of her katana and slowly drew it forth. "There is probably a reason for you not knowing that way, and since it seems I probably wont be able to tell you to turn back then I'm afraid we will have to settle this the hard way." The look on the stranger's face was priceless as he seemed to think this girl in front of him was making fun of him. "D-don't take me lightly you bitch!" He was at her side in a moment, using great power to sprint forward and then aiming a punch at her right cheek. Hmh...impressive speed for a novice. Yoshiko's black katana came up and landed between his fist and her cheek, before she used it to forcefully push the man away. It was as if on that moment he realized he wasn't just fighting some random girl that was running away from home, rather he was fighting someone that was really -really- experienced with battles as she hadn't even batted an eyelash at his sudden attack. "W-wait just a minute, I can pay..." Her stance changed from the defensive one to an offensive in a split of a second as Yoshiko used the hard ground underneath her feet to push off and slice at the man with her katana. At the last moment he defended himself by using the brass knuckles on his hands to counter the katana, however as so many others he forgot about his feet. As he was busy thinking about the deadly black blade that was but mere few inches away from his face, Yoshiko crouched down and with a powerful kick was done swiping his feet off the ground. The Tomoko ninja was standing over him before the thud of his heavy body hitting the ground had even ended, the tip of her katana hovering above his neck. "Sorry but...money.. has no value for me." His frightened yelp ended in a second, as with a single movement she pierced his throat.
It didn't take Yoshiko long to dig a shallow grave and push the body in before kicking dirt over again to leave no trace, before putting leaves and other things from the ground also over. If someone would find him, which wasn't very likely, there wouldn't really any question be raised. Not in this area. Yoshiko walked back to where she had left Adair after she had rinsed her katana and put it back on her back in the sheathe before stopping and looking around with a rather surprised expression. He's ... gone.
Something that felt strangely alike disappointment stung her in the chest before all of the sudden she heard the familiar, impatient voice call out for her. Without realizing it herself, Yoshiko felt rather relieved as she sprinted towards where the voice had come and very soon after stood face to face with Adair. "I'm sorry... there were some complications. But earlier I saw that we are getting very close to the village so we should be there before dark." She let her gaze wander from his face before turning and starting to walk, knowing he would follow and kind of feeling comfortable at knowing that.

| Still half asleep Adair started to walk before he heard rustling behind him that might be Yoshi. A big green head came at him and said something about complications. Freaked out of his mind Adair started to take out his bayonets to kill this monster with a big green cartooney head. Thinking about it Adair figured out that he was still mostly asleep and thus this wasn't real, but instead a delusion of what he had just dreamed about. Shaking his head thinking that it would get rid of the false head, but instead it made the plumbers appear out of nowhere. "WHO ARE YOU!?! Why do you have a big green head!!!? Who are those two people!? OH MY GOD!!! Don't stomp me!! I'm not a goomba!! wait...what the fuck is a goomba? AHH it doesn't matter! don't EAT ME!!! YOU...you MONSTER!!!" Adair then turned around but almost tripped hurting his toe and thus waking him up fully. Looking back at Yoshi who seemingly was perfectly normal except an assuredly confused face. Also realizing that what he had just said probably sounded weird. "ah...what happened to the two people with you? wait...never mind. I'm sorry I had a weird dream. Anyways stop slowing me down. Ame is right around the corner and you're off doing something womanly probably. Let's go with the flow and get ourselves away from this hoe. Wait did I say that aloud, whoops" The sunset was a brilliant mixture of red, pink and yellow in front of Adair as he walked down the path singing a song that he liked. "I'm gonna slash and gash, rip another hole in your ass. I'll smear blood on the walls and then play tennis with your balls, and if the phone rings don't answer the call. I'm gonna slit yo throat, fuck u like a goat I'll rip your fore skin off and make a winter coat. PEACE!" With that Adair did a little move and started walking briskly into the sunset, never to be seen again. Naw I'm kidding he made it to Amegakure in about an hour or so. 'wait...did I seriously just narrate the whole story of me coming over to amegakure in my head? I'm one truly fucked up mother effer. I don't even know where that last part came in, did I just make that up? dude that rap was sick! oh great now I'm talking to myself in my head.. where's Yoshi? I think I should hang with her again she's pretty cool, not to mention she makes me drool. eww that was a horrible rhyme, why did you think of an awesome rap and then make a bad rhyme. I shun you. YOU CANT SHUN ME I'M YOU!! and now I wait for me to reply. This is pretty sad, how long can I talk to myself? apparently pretty long, if anyone were reading this they'd probably be pretty confused. Indeed, I like to have long conversations with myself when I'm alone and bored. WHERE THE FUCK!! IS YOSHI!? I want her so that I can do something. Dude you remember when you thought you loved her?! You actually blushed. I LAFF AT CHU!!! Man I really am pathetic, I'm laughing at myself. I wonder if people really understand what I am. I mean I'm three personalities in one, but the majority of the time I'm a sadistic bastard, what if I let my real side out? oh damn that would be bad no one realizes that the third personality is the most manipulative of them all. Ok that's it I'm finding Yoshi and she will hang out with me.'ooc: ( I hope you enjoy my inner conversation ) | |

| It was safe to say that Yoshiko was now completely assured that the man she had been traveling with was a lunatic. It was just as simple as that. He had started screaming at her and asking who she was as soon as she had appeared in front of him, and for just a minute it had seemed like he was about to attack her! A monster? He's calling me a monster?? The look on her face showed confusion, irritation and slight hint of astonishment. Was that idiot still asleep? Well it certainly seemed so, since when he turned and seemed to be starting to walk away, Adair almost tripped and with that snapped out of it. "What are you talking about...?" However as he has stopped ranting, after accusing her of slowing him down and mentioned something about a hoe?? Then he started walking, leaving the dumbfounded Yoshiko standing there behind as she was seriously starting to think about just turning around and finding some other place to go to. Have his personalities finally clashed, making him loose what little sense there was left?
Soon enough he disappeared from her sight, and after standing on the same spot for probably half an hour, Yoshiko shook her head slightly before starting to walk again towards Amegakure. Maybe that idiot would manage to get lost somewhere and never reach the village, but that was probably just some wishful thinking. I guess this will be the last time I see him for some while... I should be glad for that. The young female ninja thought about his words, but no matter how much she pondered she couldn't get any meaning to them. It really must have just been some confusing dream for him.
Her pace was quickened and just after a few hours of traveling alone now, Yoshiko found herself standing in front of the gate of the Amegakure village. Some feeling of being overwhelmed washed over her as she stared up at the gate, wondering just what she was going to be doing now. She knew that it would do her some good to be still on this place for a while and get her senses back together. But I will have to return some day probably to that place... to Konohagakure...because what if my sister will go there? She raised her hand up and gazed down at the ring Yoshimaru had put there. Well here is not the place to be daydreaming.. that's for sure. So after having a talk with the guards and making it clear who she was (not that they didn't recognize her), Yoshiko was now finally at that place she felt kind of free to call a home.
