Name: Yamamoto
Founder: Copan Yamamoto
Location: Kumogakure
History: The Yamamoto clan is a part of Kumogakure, however they were the ones bellow the mighty clouds that gave the hidden village its name. While the shinobi nation resounded the Yamamoto clan rested at the foot of the mountains where the rain forested both protected and trialed the clan. Here, the survived only with the ability of their Kekkei Genkai. With the ability to form nutrient rich clan, they were able to provide a subsistence for their clan and the villages that surrounded the bottom of the mountain. During times of war, there were many attempt for large armies to attack Kumogakure, but would have to do so by literally traversing the Rain Forest and then Climbing the mountain. This was thus the first defensive strong hold for Kumogakure, and the Yamamoto Clan successfully protected the Hidden Cloud village from land attacks while it grew strong and prosperous.
Of course, this soon came to an end as the first shinobi war breed a level of combat that even the well fortified 'first gate' of the Hidden Cloud could not prevent. As a result, the Yamamoto acted as the sacrificed first line to bid time to prepared for a counter attack. They and many other villages that rested at the based of mountain were wiped out, sending many refugees into the clouds of Kumogakure, but as a result, bolstering their defensive and fighting force. The fighting generations of the Yamamoto clan was removed from the face of the earth, while few of the young were sparred to see the future. Their history was slowly lost, however after the third great shinobi war a time of peace settled and with the comfort of peace came knowledge. Archeological surveys done in an effort to learn from the past were done in an attempt to dig up what might have been left behind.
With it, many artifacts of the Yamamoto clan were found and its surviving ancestors were located to share the knowledge with. With the knowledge of the Clay Element Kekkei Genkai rediscovered, the few surviving members attempted to revive the lost art. Few were able to do so, and its teachings were strictly recorded in effort to prevent its extinction through the generations to come. As the next generations was born, they were taught these as shinobi arts and many of them excelled to be a part of the growing military force of Kumogakure. Much of this research and surveying was in fact funded through the Hidden Cloud village, as it seemed like a good investment into the military future of Kumogakure.

Name of the Kekkei Genkai: Clay Release -- Silton
Type of Kekkei Genkai: Advanced Element
Rank: C-S
Description: The Clay Release is a combination of both water and earth chakra in order to control the molding and forming of clay, as well as create and control it. This Element harnesses a very focused nature of earth with the fluid nature of water to make a very flexible element style, both figuratively and literally. The most simple technique devised from Clay Element Chakra is the "Art of Sculpting" Technique, in which the user can at high enough skill level form earth into clay and then form any number of complex shapes from his clay. Clay can be made hard as well, thus loosing its flexible and malleable form but taking on a more permanent, statue like form that can have many uses. One can temporarily bring clay statues to life, giving them, while limited, ability to interact in a battle situation. More advanced form of this technique include temporarily turning ones body into clay to absorb blows or use ones self as a weapon; even forms of clay regeneration, though are extremely limited.
Clay Element chakra is strong against water, as like earth, it isn't permeable and will stop water techniques in their track. When put against earth techniques, clay techniques are on equal footing. Clay is strong against fire to a point, but when fire is used on clay, the Clay will become petrified and hard, making it unusable; however the clay. Hot enough fire can blast through clay thus making them feasibly equal as well depending on the situation. Lightning element chakras ability to pierce through earth is now much harder seeing as though clay and mold and absorb shock well, this is only a physical advantage as lightning and clay element chakras when put against each other match evenly as well. Finally, Wind chakra is much better at slicing through clay, but once harden the clay (now earth) will hold its ground. Once again, on a chakra to chakra basis these are evenly matched. Because Clay chakra has no certain "weakness" it is considered a defensive minded sort of technique, though has plenty of offensive capabilities as well; much like its cousin element, Wood Release.

Logistically, the object can only move according to the amount of customization to allow it to, thus if a clay creation is made without substantial legs, it may have a hard time traversing.
